Waterfront holiday rentals in Viking Bay

I think this is my fourth stay in this lovely flat. It’s the perfect place to stay. In a peaceful part of town with the most amazing views and, if you are lucky, the most extraordinary sunsets over the sea. If you are a swimmer it has the extra benefit of being very close to the stunning Walpole Bay sea pool. Swimming there are sunset is a wonderful experience.

If you want sea and beach views together with convenience of being close to town with its various pubs, local bakery and restaurants then this is the place to be. The balcony is great for people watching, sea views and sunsets: the weather was great. Thanks, Josie.

From the onset communication with Wendy was brilliant. Clear check in instructions , really helpful tips of local eateries . We were really happy with the quality of apartment , it really was a home from home with high end appliances, good quality crockery , coffee machine , washing machine , etc. this apartment literally has everything you need , we packed things we just didn’t need because the apartment had it! The views are really nice overlooking the beach. Biscuits and milk left for a welcomed cuppa on arrival. Everything was also super clean . Would highly recommend .

Everything a person could need has been considered. A fully equipped kichen, games of all kinds, umberella and dog towels, a dog bed and blanket, a wonderfully sized shower, a pleasant back yard, and all spotlessly clean. Located between the ornamental gardens and the beach, a few steps from the ice cream parlor, and the high street. Would definately recomend to any dog owner.

What a fantastic place - location is superb and right on the beach with short walks to the great restaurants, bars, and cafes of Marget. Amy was super helpful and responsive. Place was clean with stellar accommodations for both kids and adults. The decor is really impressive - love what they've done with this place. If you have a chance to stay here, don't pass it up.

It’s so lovely when a host provides a few necessities…Stephen goes above and provides a wealth of items!! We had more bread, cereal, jam, croissants etc than we could use. Plus a bottle of proseco 😊. A really nice place to stay. The throw rugs were appreciated on chilly nights. Great communication.

We enjoyed a lovely couple of nights at this flat - it was really spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The Tassimo disks for our morning coffee was a lovely touch. It was great to be able to join the Viking Trail literally outside the door, and we enjoyed a beautiful walk along the coast. Mark was a great host, providing some wonderful recommendations of things to do and places to eat - there are some great restaurants in Margate! Definitely recommended for a short break.

The location of the house was perfect. Within easy walking distance of the town and the beach. The house was very comfortable and homely and had everything we needed as 6 adults for a long weekend. Breakfast on the balcony was the best.

Superb location overlooking the sea and with many and varied eating places in the vicinity. Lovely to have two lounges overlooking the sea and a large farmhouse table in the well resourced kitchen. Some superb historic and cultural places to visit nearby including: Margate (40 mins by train) to see Turners’ Contemporary Art Museum and also Tracey Emin’s Art Studios; Canterbury Cathedral (40 mins by bus) to see the historic and spectacular first cathedral in Engkand and St Augustine’s Abbey in such a beautiful city; Dover (20 mins s by car) to see the Historic Castle, Tunnels and White Cliffs; Ramsgate (bus/car 15 min drive) to see a classic Victorian Seaside with an unusual Wetherspoons built into the Pavillion; Broadstairs (10 mins drive further) to see Charles Dickens houses which inspired him to write - including Bleak House; Deal itself with its Saturday afternoon outdoor market and a 15 minute walk to the very significant Walker Castle. An amazing week with plenty of varied sigh

Lovely house. Family friendly. Short walk to beach and the local attractions but away from the hustle and bustle of the town which can be noisy at night. Supported with parking 🅿️ Travelled with 1year old and 4 year old. Travel cot and high chair in the house were provided which was a massive perk! Also kids crockery and cutlery! Would say if kids are sensitive to light bringing some portable blackout blinds would be helpful in the summer months. Would definitely recommend ❤️❤️❤️

Perfect house for exploring Margate with family and friends. Has everything you need and with beautiful sea views. This is the third time we have stayed and will definitely be back.

Booked this for my Husbands 70th. 5 couples so, having a bedroom with en-suite for everyone was a real find. The location was superb, everything in walking distance. Sally provided recommendations for a dinner on the Saturday evening. We went to the Royal Hotel (across the road). It was a perfect w/e and the weather helped. We had sea views and right on the front. Cinema room in the basement was fab and we couldn’t fault a thing. Thanks Sally

We had a lovely stay.. the house is exactly as pictured with no nasty surprises. Amazing sea view from the master bedroom, with double doors leading onto the balcony. Stef was a great host, very responsive and friendly. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Had a great great stay in this lovely house for a special birthday celebration. All communications were excellent ,made easy and Jo couldn’t have been more helpful. The house was as described and a haven for us all. Very comfortable for our needs and everything thought of. So many lovely touches of homeliness from decor to crockery. All 7 ladies who stayed felt the same. Walked into Whitstable along the coastal path which was easy and enjoyable , about 1 hour 50 mins. Thank you for everything. We would all come back!

Honestly, words can’t describe how grateful I am for Sheila and to be able to stay here to celebrate my birthday. Absolutely amazing communication!! So kind and friendly. The house was amazing and THE VIEW was incredible. I cannot recommend this place enough. I would more than come back here again. But if you’re looking for a sign to book this place, this is it!! I booked this getaway as a birthday present for our dad from my siblings and I. I spoke to Nic and she was great from the get go. As I was not the one who stayed my parents have written their little review. Thank you Nic for a wonderful relaxing time. The apartment was immaculate, modern and the little details were perfect. Everything you would need for a great time away has been thought of by the host. We were blessed with amazing weather so the little courtyard made it wonderful being such a little sun trap! Although we did not meet Nic personally she was contactable and nothing was a bother. We would definitely recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for our stay at Coastal soul.

Sue was terrific. She could not have been more accommodating when our party of 3 became 4 (to include a young grandson) and she provided us with cereals and goodies for him and a bed guard rail. Her lovely apartment is beautiful, light, airy and comfortably furnished with excellent quality appliances and fixtures/fittings. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. A superbly designed and appointed apartment. Thank you Sue. Our stay was short but perfect.

Great property. Pics don’t do it justice. We really felt at home. Super close to the beach and park for the dogs. So many amenities, even a spare toothbrush - which i had forgotten at home. Thank you for having us.

The flat was in a great location and easy to walk to wherever we needed. Aside from having a beautiful interior, the views over the sea were also stunning. Edward also very kindly let us check in early which ended up being a big help, so thank you!

Great space for larger families with adult kids especially with one bedroom on lower floor and also having three separate bathrooms. View amazing. Relaxing airy feel. Big bedrooms. Will be back again.

Tom’s place was perfect for our Canterbury visit. It was exceptionally clean, great location with amazing river views, all the attractions and restaurants were a short walk away. His apartment was beautifully decorated and modern with an excellent kitchen and bathroom. Tom was very friendly and great communicator. I highly recommend his beautiful apartment.

Great little pad over Ramsgate beach. It was peaceful, clean and easy. Everything described about it was true. We look forward to booking again.

phoebe was a fantastic host with great communication. the apartment is in a brilliant location very close to everything. on the days we wasn't out exploring until dark, we watched the sunset from the window. the views from the apartment are worth booking it alone!
