Apartment of 90 sqm in newly built semi-detached house 2022 with lovely views of Åresjön and the reindeer mountain in the straight south facing at the back. View over Åreskutan in the front. Located in a quiet residential area at the end of a street with parking outside the house. 15 minute walk to Tottliften, to the square and train station. Direct connection to totthummel with nice hiking and biking trails. (the water hose for flushing bicycles is at the house).

If you want to go by bus, you get down to the stop at E14. You can bring skis or boards on the bus. In addition to skiing and cycling, you can hike, fish, go dog sledding, rent snowmobiles and a variety of other activities. We stayed three nights at Esbjörns appartment to go skiing in Åre. The apartment was excellent and had all the utilities one might need. However, we had to buy some basic goods such as toilet paper, salt & pepper, and coffee filters, which for such a short trip was unpractical. The location was great, with access to skiing facilities (most are closed for the early season, so check online), grocery stores, and Åre centre, just a short drive away. We unfortunately had an unprecedented amount of snow, which was challenging for our car, so be sure to bring a good one in the winter season, and keep in mind that it can take a while before the roads are cleared of snow.

Everything was just as described, easy to find and access. As I am not a fan of strong scents, we didn't care much for the strong scent of the diffuser in the bath (we placed it temporarily on the balcony and vented the place, so not a big deal). Very practical with the garage and bike-in bike-out location for VM8. Also enjoyed the well equipped kitchen.
