Holiday rentals with a fire pit in View Royal

We had a lovely, peaceful stay. It was less than a 5 minute drive to some overlooks for beautiful sunsets. The tree net was fun and unique. It was strikingly quiet! The bathhouse worked just fine, close to the cabin and clean. The shower was nice and stocked with toiletries. The cabin was a perfect place to stay while exploring San Juan Island. Close to Lime Kiln by car. It was our first time visiting and we enjoyed cozying up in the cabin after a day of hiking or exploring. The French press and coffee were a major plus! We were charmed by the island and by the cabin. I frankly loved having no cell service (true for most of SJI for me—tip to Verizon users!), it was a forced disconnect. I downloaded the Google map in advance so I could use it offline, which was helpful in navigating. Raeleen was proactive with instructions and texted to check in after our first night. Thank you so much and we hope to visit again someday! Highly recommend if you want to go off the grid and recharge!

Miriam was the perfect host. She was responsive and friendly and the communication was excellent. The house is clean, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped- there was even a sharp chef’s knife, which is a rarity in a rental property. The best thing about the house is the wonderful garden and the outdoor seating and dining areas. I loved this house!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The place was exactly as described and the views were spectacular. Evelyn was a great host. She informed us of everything we needed and more. We had forgotten a sweater at the place and Evelyn was so kind to mail it to us.

Josie was a fantastic host. Flexible, responsive, and helpful in providing local recommendations for an area we were new to. The house and property are beautiful, peaceful, and unique. Can't recommend highly enough!

Fantastic time here! Private getaway cabin with a unique outdoor sauna made this place extra special. Comfortable beds, and great space. We plan to come again :)

Had a great stay, it’s a great and spacious home in a beautiful area!

The Ravens nest is perfect. Clean, quiet, friendly hosts. We stayed a week and didn't want to leave. The space is well laid out with a small sitting room at the front with a view of the entrance to Active pass and Miners Bay. There are loads of extras like condiments in the fridge, coffee pods (2 per day) sugar, food wraps, etc. Tim and Patti were very friendly but never intrusive. Although the suite is on the bottom level we never really heard any sounds from them. I recommend 100 percent. Thank you Tim and Patti!

This is a true gem and an amazing space to stay in while visiting the West Coast and would stay here again over and over. The outdoor space was well designed for privacy and feels like you’re on your own in the great outdoors to enjoy a campfire and the beautiful outdoor tub was spectacular and such a treat. We loved all the extra amenities and the space was very well designed indoors and felt like home.

We had a nice stay of three weeks at this Airbnb. The location is perfect, just a short drive from Victoria as well as close to stunning hiking trails. The place was very clean. We liked that it had a large TV in the living room and another one in the master bedroom. The gas fireplace in the living room was perfect for taking the chill off of the downstairs area in the morning, the only time we felt we needed to use it. The master bedroom was spacious with lots of closet space and drawers. We used the second bedroom as an office, and liked that there was enough space for two people to work. The upstairs bathroom featured a huge walk-in shower that was a real treat. We also enjoyed meeting the owner and his friendly dog, Biscuit, who live next door. We thought this airbnb was very reasonably priced and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Ryan’s place was great! Felt like staying in a tiny home. Everything was laid out nicely and was functional. He graciously offered us to hang out in the property and it was very beautiful. He was also responsive and very accommodating. Would recommend! However it would not be a good space to stay if you have mobility problems (accessing the loft area). For us it worked out great!

Deanna is a great host very accommodating and responsive. This is our second time staying at her place. Location is perfect to watch our son racing who was participating in Shawnigan regatta. Looking forward to stay here again next year!

Lovely weekend away, the place had everything we needed. The outdoor spaces are great, the private dock and fire pit were perfect. Would stay here again!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Easy, simple and a property that exceeded our expectations. The view is second to none. The place is very comfortable and well laid out inside and out. Everything was awesome and I’d highly recommend a stay. It wil not disappoint.

Tracy and John are fantastic hosts. They have everything you can think of and more within the unit. There were also some other little perks but don't want to ruin the surprise should you choose to stay here which you should. The view / location can't be beat. The lake is a few mins walk away; super clean (rocky so you may want water shoes) and there is a dock to jump off of. Separately, my luggage arrived late and they provided me with extra toiletries which was so thoughtful. They also regularly checked in on the situation which I really appreciated. I hope to be back!

The place was really cozy and private. The view was amazing! We loved our stay there and Karli always was responsive:) She also has really friendly cat which kept us company in Karli’s lovely garden:)

The place was very well maintained and stocked up on necessities. Jordan was quite active and responsive in answering a questions we had. The neighborhood is very peaceful and well connected with the city. We had a great time and definitely recommend it for a weekend getaway.

We had a lovely stay in the tree house. It's truly unique and a cozy, comfortable, place to stay surrounded by natural beauty. We enjoyed visiting the local farmers market and exploring East Sooke Regoinal Park. I hope to go back!

We spent two nights at Shannon’s place and had a wonderful experience. The property looked exactly like the photos, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time—playing games, sitting around the fire, and relaxing in the hot tub. Shannon was very responsive. On the morning of our check-in, I reached out to let her know about a small change in our plans—we needed a crib and high chair. She replied right away and assured us it was no problem. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked—far beyond our expectations. There were plenty of spices, foil, Ziploc bags, etc…

Private and peaceful. Great connection with nature. Can’t describe in words, should be there and enjoy every moment of being surrounded by trees and woods. Very accessible to beaches and hiking trails.

We really loved our stay at Michele's. The property is beautiful with tons of wildlife and really well located so it was easy to walk to various places. We hope to stay here again

Gorgeous space and location! Having 2 outdoor spaces with lots of seating was amazing. The beds are comfy; the windows make it seem like you are in the trees. Great little book with tips for the area. I would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Marissa’s cozy cabin! The beautiful woodwork and fresh wood smell made the place feel warm and inviting from the moment we walked in. The bedrooms were cute, comfy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the outdoor fire pit for evenings under the stars, and the indoor chimney added the perfect touch of charm. The games were a fun bonus too! Highly recommend for a peaceful and cozy getaway.

Beautiful property and very cool house; as advertised. The owners live on the same property in a seperate building, but they give you your privacy and it didn't bother us at all. Love the way the place was decorated, and the master bed was very comfortable (can't speak for the other 2 beds as there was only my partner and I). The deer and rabits outside the window when we woke up was a nice surprise! It is about a 25min drive away to get anywhere, but the country neighborhood is nice to drive through. Lots of walking/hiking trails in the area. Would recommend!

We loved our stay. It is the perfect little spot to relax. We loved listening to all the birds and making use of the lovely fire pit. It was a great ‘home-base’ to check out Botanical Beach and the Sooke potholes. It’s exactly as pictured and described.
