Just fabulous. A beautiful location, perched on a hillside overlooking a rural Portuguese valley. Lovely house. Ingenious heating system, and lovely, friendly owners! We will be coming back next year and I’m hoping David’s house is still available.

Absolutely stunning space. All the outdoor terrain is beautifully cared for and gives us the feeling of total privacy, of being in another dimension. It's beautiful. Wonderful swimming pool. The house is also extremely comfortable, with all amenities needed. Nothing to point out as wrong.

A wonderful stay, a beautiful and very relaxing villa. We arrived early and were able to advance the schedule to collect the keys . They are really hosts who are very attentive to our needs and accommodating . We had a great time and met hosts as they are rare . Thanks again for the stay

Very comfortable and relaxing place. Never met the hosts but the check in was very easy + the place was clean and beautiful. There is a pool and AC. Fully stocked kitchen and beautiful buildings that seem to be recovered old stone houses. Thanks for the nice stay.

The house is beautiful, of a typical architecture of the villages of the north of the Iberian Peninsula, very well preserved and equipped, has all the amenities, even for a dinner with many people. Calm environment, familiar and great for pets. As the house is all walled is safe for even the most restless pets. The pool area is also fenced, good for children. Although we have been there in the winter all the spaces have some kind of heating and many covered. Alexandra is very kind and helpful, willing to help whenever we had a question about how the house works. Thank you very much Alexandra for the excellent stay you have provided us.

Wonderful relaxing place with great hosts. A bit remote but it is worth it.

We love it,great for a family vacation. The pool is very nice with a lot of loungers, the living area (with foosball,ping pong.ja has everything you need, tennis rackets and balls, etc.)was very useful for us to fill the time that could not be in the pool as well as the tennis court. an experience to repeat for sure.

Surribes was fantastic. It was exactly as it looked in the photos, comfortable and great for a relaxing stay. Rita was a great host, checked us in smoothly and on hand to answer questions. Happy to recommend.

It was a very good few days. Everything was very nice! Mr. Carlos and his parents are very kind. It is, without a doubt, a place I will return to when I go back to those parts.

We were fortunate to be the Posada’s first guests! Susana couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The accommodation is well provisioned, stylish and modern with a traditional twist. It’s location within a vineyard makes the swimming in the natural stone swimming pool, all the more magical. Five star stay!

Amazing stay with an even more amazing host 🥹 I have to highlight Inês' friendliness and availability from start to finish. The space is exactly what it promises: calm, relaxing and unique! With many nooks and crannies to discover, friendly animals, an incredible pool and nature in its purest form! We couldn't find a place that would allow our dog to enter the pool and Quinta da Emília allowed it and made Joca's experience even better! In addition, we were also able to receive family, including our 2-year-old godson, who also took great advantage of everything the farm has to offer 😊 ahh! We still "stole" some peaches to bring as a souvenir 🤭 It was amazing and we highly recommend it!!! 😁 A huge thank you to Inês ❤️

Our stay at Casa dos Mirtilos in Germil was truly wonderful. Such a beautiful, peaceful location on the outskirts of a charming mountain village. Perfect for wildlife lovers. The garden was full of birdsong and butterflies, we even had breakfast visit from a pine marten! Bring your binoculars. There are lots of paths and quiet mountain roads for walking. Daniela was a brilliant host and was very responsive to messages and gave us good recommendations for local gastronomic delights. We had a wonderful week and would encourage anyone who loves being out in nature to stay at Casa do Mirtilos. Thank you Daniela.

Exceptional place! Beautiful, excellent for those who want peace and tranquility in the midst of nature. It exceeded my expectations in every way! Everything was perfect down to the last detail. We were greeted with a delicious cake and lots of friendliness! Congratulations to the hosts!!

We had a great time at Ann and her husband's place. They are lovely hosts, who made us feel very comfortable. The pool is a big plus. It feels like home. Above all, do not change anything and continue to make the guests who are visiting your beautiful home happy. we would have liked to continue the stay. Everything was perfect.

Great value! My family and I stayed here for five nights. While it wasn't ideal for our family with a toddler due to the many stairs, we still had a fantastic time. The place is incredibly quiet—perfect for a relaxing break! The pool area is a huge plus, with all sorts of toys that kept our kids entertained. They were never bored! We stayed in Casa Alambique, which has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The upstairs bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. However, the downstairs bedroom has an old, small bed, so I'd recommend it only for kids or teens. The team was amazing! They offered lots of recommendations and the place was spotless. We had a small issue, and they took care of it immediately. Better than 5-star hotel service. Highly recommend!

I spent a glorious month at Maria Celeste’s home. It was simply the best place to reset, connect with nature & rest. I’ve never been to a more peaceful home. Freshly squeezed orange juice (from trees) every morning. Lemons for water. A natural spring to swim off hiking grime. Mountains to climb surrounding the entire home. Lizard & butterfly friends. And so so quiet. Maria Celeste picked me up & drove me to the location. Taxi services available to go to town when needed. I can not recommend staying at this home more. If you need some R’n’R, stay. You won’t regret it.

Beautifully furnished, clean house equipped with everything you need. The location is extremely quiet, so you have the feeling of being the only house in the area. The complex is very well maintained and the pool is large enough for swimming. Communication with Carla is uncomplicated and friendly, we always had the feeling that we could turn to her in case of problems. We enjoyed every second and there is nothing to complain about. If we choose Portugal again, the accommodation and Carla will be our first choice.

Quinta da Toural is an absolutely wonderful farm for a group of friends or a large family. It is composed of a large house, the main house with 4 suites, equipped with air conditioning, tv, electric shutters and huge bathrooms! Then there are 3 more T1 houses, 1 bedroom, living room, kitchenette and bathroom And another T0 house. All rooms and bathrooms have the same size and scale, that is, they are equivalent in terms of quality! The farmhouse has many very dear animals! 2 ponies, goats, 1 sow and an Emu (Ostrich's cousin). The photographs of the ad do not live up to the wonderful countryside, the pool with a panoramic view and the well-kept gardens. We really loved it and want to come back next year! We were a group of 15 adults and it's all so spacious we didn't even feel like there were so many of us! The host is very thoughtful and communicative! You're always available to help!

Beautiful house by the lake, in a very peaceful village. Had a wonderful stay with my girlfriend and we couldn't be happier!

Beautiful tranquil little converted farmhouse. All the amenities you need, lovely pool and very friendly dog. It is walkable to supermarket and local bars or a cab to Guimarães is very cheap. Our host was very friendly and helpful throughout.

The apartment is absolutely great: spacious, characterful, comfortable, clean and very well equipped. The whole setting is wonderful: a fabulous position up in the hills, with friendly dogs, chickens and an unusual breed of sheep (Cameroon)! The historic cities of Braga and Guimaraes are very close, each offering a range of attractions. Virginia, together with her delightful family, could not have been more helpful, ensuring that our stay was really enjoyable. She looked after us extremely well, providing excellent communication beforehand, lots of goodies upon arrival and helpful recommendations about what to see in the local area. We had a very memorable few days, for which many thanks.
