Farmstay holiday rentals in Braga

Stayed here for a week with my family, including my brother and his children and my mother and father, and we absolutely loved it! The space was perfect for us to hang out as a family, enjoy the sunshine and play in the pool. We were able to use a high cars to get easily down to the coast and to local supermarkets to pick up provisions but most of the days we just spent relaxing in the house which has lots of space and lots of amenities. There was lots of space for the children to play both inside and outside, lots of places to sit and eat and the pool was excellent. The animals at the bottom of the garden were very entertaining for the children and they managed to name all of them!! I would highly recommend this space. I would happily come again. We also really enjoyed having Duarte come over and cook us a typical regional meal. Thank you for everything Jorgina. Danny, Becci and Eden

Fantastic place lovely warm host stayed up late to let us in and help us find the property, a delightful quirky old converted mill. GUI was very friendly and full of local knowledge. Could not recommend more highly

Very good welcome by Antonio as well as by his mother, very attentive, ready to do a service and speaking, among other things, very good French. Very nice welcome breakfast and coffee, good location compared to the different places to visit. Product as advertised with good value for the money.

Manuel and his wife Lidia were a great hosts. The communication was very quick and they were always ready to help us or give us anything we needed during the stay. The house was very clean, fully equipped and is located in a very calm area surrounded by yards and trees. Very peaceful with a private pool and bbq possibility. It is a bit far from center, so I highly recommend hiring a car (it is not expensive), since there is a private parking as well. The house is an ideal for a family of 4-5 or a group of friends. Thank you Manuel and Lidia, we will definitely come back!

The house is beautiful, of a typical architecture of the villages of the north of the Iberian Peninsula, very well preserved and equipped, has all the amenities, even for a dinner with many people. Calm environment, familiar and great for pets. As the house is all walled is safe for even the most restless pets. The pool area is also fenced, good for children. Although we have been there in the winter all the spaces have some kind of heating and many covered. Alexandra is very kind and helpful, willing to help whenever we had a question about how the house works. Thank you very much Alexandra for the excellent stay you have provided us.

Fanstastic, stand-alone house with beautiful pool. High quality, comfortable furnishings with lots of space to spread out and relax in. Super well-stocked kitchen, including coffee, tea, port, and fresh fruits, eggs, milk, pastries, butter. Virginia was very friendly and helpful, giving us maps, hats, and marshmallows to roast. Our favorite place we stayed in Portugal. A real home and great location for exploring Guimaraes, Braga, Porto and the national park. Lovely fireplace with wood provided. Very quite with nice views. Highly recommended.

We love it,great for a family vacation. The pool is very nice with a lot of loungers, the living area (with foosball,ping pong.ja has everything you need, tennis rackets and balls, etc.)was very useful for us to fill the time that could not be in the pool as well as the tennis court. an experience to repeat for sure.

This little farm is a true haven in the midst of nature! The outdoor space is simply magical — spacious, full of beautiful nooks and crannies and with animals that delighted the children from start to finish. Those were days of great peace, fresh air and smiles, lulled by the wonderful sound of the water always flowing in the pool. The house is very well equipped, cozy and designed for all ages. Inês was an exemplary host, always available and attentive, and Dona Doras also deserves a special thank you for her prompt and kind help. We will treasure this experience with great affection! We were 2 families staying together and we had ample space in this well appointed sizeable villa in sleepy local village outside of Viana do Castelo, which is a nice town. There are a few local restaurants in the village and a cafe/bar a short walk down by the river. The river wasn't swim-able though. We spent time relaxing by the lovely saltwater pool which isn’t overlooked and is set in the secluded gardens overlooking fields. We felt a car was essential to visit local towns and national parks. The cleaner came mid way through our 2 week stay and changed bedding towels and cleaned throughout, which was a nice bonus. Jose was there to greet us and gave us helpful local advice We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay and would recommend the villa.

Great stay with our two dogs! The scenery is beautiful. The house full of stories. The pool is a real plus. The neighborhood is very friendly. There are two many walks to do in the area and many with swimming nooks. We recommend 100%!

It was the second time we chose this place and it was excellent! We felt right at home! Enjoy so much nature and animals, calm and comfort! It is undoubtedly a very good place to rest and for good times alone or with family! We'll definitely be back! And Susana is very friendly and helpful! We really liked it!

Great value! My family and I stayed here for five nights. While it wasn't ideal for our family with a toddler due to the many stairs, we still had a fantastic time. The place is incredibly quiet—perfect for a relaxing break! The pool area is a huge plus, with all sorts of toys that kept our kids entertained. They were never bored! We stayed in Casa Alambique, which has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The upstairs bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. However, the downstairs bedroom has an old, small bed, so I'd recommend it only for kids or teens. The team was amazing! They offered lots of recommendations and the place was spotless. We had a small issue, and they took care of it immediately. Better than 5-star hotel service. Highly recommend!

Beautifully furnished, clean house equipped with everything you need. The location is extremely quiet, so you have the feeling of being the only house in the area. The complex is very well maintained and the pool is large enough for swimming. Communication with Carla is uncomplicated and friendly, we always had the feeling that we could turn to her in case of problems. We enjoyed every second and there is nothing to complain about. If we choose Portugal again, the accommodation and Carla will be our first choice.

We lived a few days in a real haven of peace. Past the aspects, let's say amazing, of the path to the accommodation, we were charmed by the hospitality of our hosts, Lise and Patrick. The dogs are very affectionate and quiet. The horses are not left out either (and a little pranky). The totally free access to green spaces, the pool, the barbecue area is an undeniable plus. Lovers of nature and peace, look no further for your place. In addition, housed in this natural environment, you will have plenty of time to explore the surrounding nature, on foot or by car. We had a nice stay at La Quinta. We'll be able to come back someday ...

Beautiful house by the lake, in a very peaceful village. Had a wonderful stay with my girlfriend and we couldn't be happier!

On the positive side, the place lived up to its description. Fatima was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience better. There were enough parking spaces for three cars. On the negative side, the hot water reservoir wasn't sufficient for ten people to take showers. As a result, some of us had to take cold showers every day. Additionally, the location is situated on narrow roads, making it challenging to reach by car.

Beautiful tranquil little converted farmhouse. All the amenities you need, lovely pool and very friendly dog. It is walkable to supermarket and local bars or a cab to Guimarães is very cheap. Our host was very friendly and helpful throughout.

We had a wonderful time in a wonderful location! The appartment is super equipped and has a wide view over the stunning garden and the country. Although... 'garden' seems to small a word for the park that it really is. We just loved it! Also the host was super helpful with everything! Thank you!
