We holidayed with 2 dogs and it was perfect for them, very secure backyard with high fences all around. Dog beds and bowls supplied, very much appreciated. House very clean and exactly as described. Living area had plenty of lamps which is great as many places don’t, perfect for reading and knitting. Kitchen very well supplied with everything you could need and in great condition. Pantry even had a good selection of supplies which was very thoughtful. Instructions were perfect. Thank you we enjoyed our stay.

Mum loved her stay, nothing was a bother. Sue was a wonderful host, the property was well appointed 1 bedroom, very spacious with the option to sleep friends on a pull down bed. Home was clean, and Sue left Mum a lovely gift. Thanks Sue.

Steve’s place was excellent for our girls weekend away. Many bedrooms, comfy beds, heaters in all rooms and 3 bathrooms! We relaxed in the cosy lounge beside the super easy gas fireplace and enjoyed wine, a cheese board, many games and Netflix. Steve’s place is a 15 minute walk to the shops and gallery - a lovely stroll on a sunny day. Steve was very generous and a great communicator. We would love to return to his property again. :-)

Fantastic stay. Angela was a great host who provided very clear instructions about how to find the apartment and park. The apartment itself was ideal for our weekend getaway. It was well equipped, clean and well decorated with an amazing view of Belconnen lake.

Simply the best! This is our second time here and it didn’t fail us. We will come to stay and unwind again and again 😊 Location is perfect! Lake facing deck - that’s where I ended up spending most of my time doing nothing! Simply watching the world pass by. Sun set is magical. Will come again.

Outstanding stay at Sally’s Place! I stayed at Sally’s Place for a weekend with my dog after some international travel, and it was exactly what I needed to rest and recharge before heading back to work. The location is absolutely amazing—peaceful and private, yet still close to everything in Daylesford. The bed was super comfy, and the home had everything I needed to feel relaxed and at ease. Sally was a fantastic and communicative host—warm, welcoming, and always quick to respond. We especially loved our daily walks around the lake, which was just a short stroll away. It truly was the perfect spot to unwind, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend!

Erica’s place was a good base for us while visiting family who live in the region. Location is right on the lake and next door to Blacksmith Provedore. Heating worked well on the chilly winter evenings. Erica was a very responsive host.

Stuart and Mima’s place was a peaceful retreat nearby to Scott’s Creek. The house had everything we needed along with food and utensils for cooking. Definitely recommend and hopefully, we will be back sometime soon.

Jess is a friendly and responsive host and the place is very lovely and spacious for large group of people. This private premises is super photogenic, with beautiful views and surroundings including a small lake. We were thrilled to see a number of kangaroos and wildlife along the driveway of the house. It feels like a free safari tour. On our last day, it was a bit snowy and foggy and the place becomes quite magical. We can’t imagine how beautiful it would be if the place is covered in snow more. Overall, very happy and enjoyable stay. We would definitely love to come back again.☺️

Great communication and generous helpful hosts. We had a girls long weekend and chose this location for the views especially from the balcony and close access to the local cafe. The home had all the amenities we needed from kitchen to cook, laundry so we could do a load after the beach and games to play. Marc and Kathleen are excellent communicators and we were really impressed with the google doc that contained clear direction, amenities, shops in Cape Paterson and nearby areas to explore. lovely place - warm and cosy - walking distance to the lake - only thought the ramp to the house was pretty steep but not a deal breaker :)) andrew (host) was always friendly and quick to respond all in all a great location and a lovely house !!

Amazing location and accommodation, home presented like photos and was very clean. Beach, stores and restaurants all within short walking distance which meant we could leave the car at home in secured garage and walked to the beach etc. Would love to stay there again. Peter

We had a wonderful stay at The Village Green over the June long weekend. The property was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The heated spa and both the indoor and outdoor log fires were excellent—so cosy and inviting. Everything was thoughtfully set up and the hosts were welcoming and responsive. Would happily stay again!
