This was my second stay at Treetops, and it was just as great as the first time. Waking up in the morning with the birds and the light shining through the big round window in the bedroom upstairs was magic. It is a very peaceful environment, the best remedy for recovering from the hectic life in the city. We spent the days bushwalking and exploring the Lerderderg Park and in the evening enjoyed the warmth and coziness of the wood fire stove in the living area. And in addition to all this, we were able to walk to the local coffee shop for a caffein hit....

My husband and I had a lovely 3 night stay at Kate’s house. The house was cozy and made us feel like we were away on a European holiday. The property is stunning and we would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

Eyrie House provided a peaceful haven for our family in the midst of a busy road trip. The views are spectacular and the house has been built to capitalise on this. Arriving on a winter night, we were so pleased to walk into a warm, welcoming home, in which we immediately felt comfortable. The house has a little wear and tear just by virtue of being an older build, but everything inside is clean and comfortable. It would be a great place to visit for a group of friends, as the house can sleep eight people comfortably (3x queen beds and 2x singles), and there is plenty of space for communal meals and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at Andrew's place and are happy to recommend it.

Returning for our second visit to The Hut and thoroughly enjoyed as much as the first. We relaxed in front of the fire in the outdoor area and forgot about the outside world in the peaceful setting and watching the kangaroos hop by. The property is lovely to walk around with the dog and check out the new Little Springs area by the dam, perfect for a summer evening. Meredith is only a short drive away and can recommend the Rustic Ram for great meal. We were happy to see our host Geoff again who is warm and welcoming and so easy to communicate with. The Hut has everything you need for a peaceful weekend retreat. Highly recommended.

We loved staying here for our mums weekend away. The views are amazing, the house was cozy and close to all the local attractions. We loved sitting by the fire in the afternoons watching the incredible sunsets. The house was perfect for what we needed, the kitchen was set up so well and had everything we needed to cook our own meals.

My experience with the hosts was excellent and the property was even more beautiful than the photos. The house was huge and everything you could possibly need and want was provided. We arrived to a roaring fire, a fridge stocked with generous breakfast provisions and a freshly baked cake which was a lovely touch. The beds and furnishings were very comfortable and a phone charger provided which was great as I’d forgotten mine! I would highly recommend the property and will definitely be back. We had an unforgettable stay at Charleson Farm! It was the perfect getaway and a special place to spend time with my parents before they left Melbourne. The property had everything we could have asked for, and the highlight was definitely the adorable ponies, Button and Pepper, we loved feeding and patting them, along with the friendly goats. The gas-heated pool was a great bonus; a bit chilly at first, but by the third sunny day, it was just right. The host was incredibly kind and supportive throughout our stay. Highly recommended for a peaceful and memorable escape!

We had a very comfortable stay at Fiona's. It had everything we needed. So warm by the lovely fire and plenty of firewood. The beds are extremely comfy and I loved the beautiful views of the farm and countryside. The peace and quiet was so welcome and we both wished we could have stayed longer to investigate the surrounding areas. We did see a lot though in 2 days. Loved the lake out at Eildon, the views are spectacular. I can highly recommend a stay at the farm. Thanks again Susan and Ian

Beautiful house to stay at! We all had the best time and felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Heaps of room for the kids to run around and burn their energy. Great place to stay for a family holiday we had 11 of us in the house and we al had our own space and heaps of room to have dinner and watch movies all together.

The house & unit suited us perfectly (6 adults & 4 young children). There was lots of room both indoors & out for the kids (they made great use of the swings/slide). Plus a lovely big table for us all to eat at & great for group board/card games. The extra unit was very a lovely, quiet retreat if needed. The hosts were super responsive whenever I contacted them & when we had an issue (they came to sort it out immediately). Many thanks for contacting me immediately about an item left behind! The added extras of games for all ages, chopped wood for outdoor fire-pit, good supply of basic things (like oil, spices, salt & pepper, dishwasher pods, toilet paper) was great. Amazing views in all directions!

We had a great few days at this cute little cabin. Our toddler loved feeding the chickens on the property. The fire made it so warm and cosy and Robert had set it up all ready for our arrival which was a nice touch. Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a little country getaway. A perfect place for a cilty escape. Nice fresh and clean apartment with incredible views true to online ad. Close to sporting and entertainment venues, great shopping in walkable distance. Communicating with Selina has been a real pleasure. She was very responsive and accommodating. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Such an incredible getaway. We absolutely loved our weekend away at Kinross and were pleasantly surprised that it surpassed our expectations. We were met by the cosiest cottage with every amenity we could need. The pre-chopped firewood made everything easier, too. The personal touches were greatly appreciated and the property was stunning. Our border collie had the time of her life exploring as much of the place as she could and we all enjoyed the privacy on offer. It was so great to be able to escape the city and relax. We can’t wait to return sometime soon. Thank you Cheryl and Warren for being such great hosts!

Bev’s place is outstanding. Calming decor with a fabulous bathroom and exceptionally comfortable bed. Bev has chosen a local supplier for shampoo, soap etc and the products are great. She also provided delicious welcome goodies. The accommodation is very private and has lovely views. All together a very fine place to stay!

Sandra is an amazing host and was very helpful with all of our requests and very prompt with responses. We enjoyed the place so much and will definitely be number 1 place to stay when we visit again! The place was really clean and the area accommodates to both people and pets. Sandra ensured we had no issues at all with our stay and was flexible with our schedule as well. Highly recommend! It’s an all year, all weather suitable accomodation place! The board games at the residence were also ideal for when staying indoors! Beautiful place with beautiful views!

Beautiful stay on Paramoor winery. The cottage was comfortable, warm with heating and a wood-burner, and the property is really peaceful. 10 minutes drive from Kyneton, Lancefield and Woodend, and wineries. The wine at Paramoor was delicious - we had a lovely tasting with Sam. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Sue’s beautiful off-grid tiny home in Dargo. With no phone reception, my wife and I enjoyed quality time together playing the many board games available, including our first game of Scrabble! Sue was a lovely and gracious host, even leaving us some delicious homemade bread and what we believe was her home made jam for breakfast..a perfect start to the day before heading back to the city. This get away was exactly what we needed. Thank you Sue!

Nici's place was very peaceful and relaxing. It's only a short distance away from the beach which was perfect! It feels cozy and and inviting, like it's your very own little home!

This place was stunning and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hosts were extremely quick to respond. Only issue is the tv in the bedroom didn’t work at all.

The place is great and the location is so beautiful! It was great to have a private access to the beach, I'll definitely come back!
