Friendly Host. Very receptive to pets. Our dog played a lot with their dogs. Very quiet. Walk distance to the pretty Lagoa Porto Covo.

Fantastic place, so very well equipped and great location. We loved it here and would love to stay again. We had a problem with the boiler when we arrived and Marta was quick To get it working again. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

We loved the house very much, we believe it is great for both a group of friends and family. The house had plenty of games to choose from. As far as the hostess is concerned, she is very friendly and has always been shown to be available.

We had an amazing family stay in the Casa. Lourenço was available to answer any of our questions at all times. From beach recommendations, to restaurants, and shops and golf, he helped us make the absolute most of our stay. The house itself is simply a remarkable space for family, with cosy spaces for groups to eat together or if you want to find some time alone too. Highly highly recommend, we will return.

We stayed a week in Ana's house and quite enjoyed it. The weather was not the best, but the house has all the comforts of home so we cooked dinner and watched Netflix while the rain was pouring down. Having a proper kitchen with a dishwasher available is great on evenings like that! On sunny and warm days, the terrace is a treat. The house is in a quiet, pleasant neighbourhood, ordinary people live around there and the folks next door have a few curious goats. There are good restaurants within walking distance, our favorite is Casa da Joana. One of the official paths passes through the same street as the house, very nice walk that takes you past the same Joana's. Perfect for lunch. You need a car. Then all the walks, Viana do Castelo, Braga, Ponte de Lima etc are within easy driving range. If you are used to the softer Scandinavian beds, you may find the queen size bed rather firm.

Lurdes' home is great for a family getaway and with children. His house is spacious and has a swimming pool, even for children. In addition, it is well located, close to small villages that are worth visiting. Lurdes was a caring host and her house was spotless. We recommend it 100%, we were very comfortable there.

We loved staying in Quinta dos Carvalhos!!! It is a beautiful place and the perfect base to discover the area. Lots of greats trips around. Luis is a great host, really helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to coming back in the future

Had a fantastic week at Cabedelo beach. Apartment was comfortable and very well equipped. Communication with Hugo was excellent- a great host. We made good use of the pool and beach and used the ferry boat to go into town. Aquario and Foz restaurants were both very good and only a couple of minutes walk away. We also liked the north club beach bar for a sunset drink. Loved that the area is not super touristy and a great base to explore northern Portugal.

We had a great stay at Vitor's place. The garden was particularly pleasant, we were even able to enjoy the pool which was very well maintained. Our dogs loved the garden, which offered a superb surface! The interior of the house is faithful to the photos, allows to preserve the privacy of each traveler and the linen was clean. Host was very responsive. We will be back!

We had a great stay from start to finish. We were super well received, Cristina was spectacular, always attentive. The space is spotless, the house spacious, a phenomenal outdoor space and a large swimming pool. We intend to return.

Roland is an amazing host, friendly, attentive, accommodating and helpful. His place is beautiful, peaceful and welcoming. the gardens are stunning and you have full access to the gardens and pools. would highly recommend!

I came there for the peace and trips in the area. That worked out well because the hinterland but also the coast are great for walking and cycling. The tranquility in the house and the garden are wonderful. All good quality. Everything works. Beds and chairs are good. Just a nice luxury house!

Maria was very friendly and helpful. She was always available to answer our questions. The welcome pack she provided showed us how generous she was. The place was clean and tidy. We enjoyed sipping our evening wine on the patio.

We spent a family weekend, 9 people and two dogs, the stay was magnificent, the perfect house! There was no shortage of details there was everything,the beds were very comfortable,the garden with its fantastic pool was an enjoyment since the weather accompanied, José offered us fruit from his organic garden, a great afrition that was attentive to any need or suggestion that was offered to us. We stayed at this beautiful house for over 2 weeks during a sports competition. Sandra was an absolutely wonderful host. Starting from the planning, during our stay, and even beyond such as forwarding packages which arrived late. More like a helpful friend than just a wonderful host. The house is perfectly located. Peaceful and quiet, and at the same time right in the center of the town. Everything is walkable, while we also always found a parking spot for our rental car. When we had to leave it felt more like leaving home. We highly recommend this property if you’re visiting Viana do Castelo and don’t forget to ask Sandra for her great restaurant recommendations!!

The apartment is very spacious, several balconies and roof terrace with a fantastic view of Viana, the Atlantic Ocean and the bay of the Rio Lima are super great. The rooms are spacious and the apartment is very well appointed, nothing is missing. We felt very comfortable and explored the beautiful town of Viana do Castello with its wide sandy beaches.

Okay, as it's always first sight of the place there are some difficulties before getting used to the environment, me here: 1. trash bins; "over the street ?" There are several bins, but which are nominated to the flat - the parking place had a few, then on the road side few more again, and afaik some of the have tag or key before you can get them opened... I might have got it wrong though :) 2. a new comer from abroad might be wondering for a while the gas fired heating system.

A wonderful stay in a very spacious house. Outside bbq area great for recreation, Rosa, the host is gracious and gave us enough privacy. The description of facilities is accurate. I especially loved the short walk down to the beach.

Very nice house - we were 10 people including kids. Very nice outdoor area with garden and pool. A local stand with fresh vegetables only 5 mins walking from the house. Good instructions from the host. Location is private, good for various excursions by car in the greater area. Sunset was perfect.
