Peaceful stay, lovely quiet location, responsive and proactive helpful host.

We were a group of friends with children and were delighted. Both the bedrooms are very spacious with huge and very comfortable beds, they have various types of pillows. The Great Living Rooms! Spacious, with careful decor, … the kitchen is very equipped, we didn't lack anything and the fridge is wonderful! We loved being cooking while listening to music… The service from Portugal active from 10. Very happy!!

It was a fantastic stay. The house was clean, well equipped and nice and quiet. The pool was great and the communication with both Daniela and her very friendly family was very pleasant. We were there as a family and would definitely recommend it.

We had a great time in Afife and enjoyed our stay at Joaos place. The location was very quiet (except the Honda shop across the street in the daytime) and Afife has not much to offer, which was okay for us but should be known in advance if you plan on eating outside. Porto is great to be reached by train and the beach is very close. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms there’s enough space for a big group and everything was very comfortable. The pool was open already and was cleaned during our stay. The only thing which I would point out on the negative side is that when we arrived it smelled a bit mouldy, probably due to the rainy weather and the fact that 3 of the bathrooms don’t have windows. The staircase to the lower part of the house is very steep. That’s a fact you should know when travelling with small kids. Joao was perfect to contact and always responded quickly whenever there were any questions. Thanks for having us. We would totally recommend to stay at his place.

We love our stay! The house was impeccably clean and comfortable to welcome us. Cristina and her husband were very friendly and attentive! The outdoor space is excellent for enjoying family moments, as well as the view from the kitchen/living room, every day we dine with a view of the sunset. The house is very close to supermarkets, restaurants and even the beach and the walkways. We really like it!

We had a wonderful time in a wonderful location! The appartment is super equipped and has a wide view over the stunning garden and the country. Although... 'garden' seems to small a word for the park that it really is. We just loved it! Also the host was super helpful with everything! Thank you!

It was probably one of the best places we stayed in. House is really something else and it comes with private garden and pool. Only regret was that we didn’t stay longer!! Highly recommended!!

I came there for the peace and trips in the area. That worked out well because the hinterland but also the coast are great for walking and cycling. The tranquility in the house and the garden are wonderful. All good quality. Everything works. Beds and chairs are good. Just a nice luxury house!

Excellent space with great location, with everything you need for a super nice family vacation, along with our pet who was very well received and accepted just like all of us. Very clean and pleasant house, swimming pool with an excellent area and a great outdoor space where you can enjoy outdoor meals, excellent access by car. Raquel and her mother are extremely friendly people and were always willing to help. Definitely a place to come back to next time, I recommend it 100%. Thank you so much for everything.

We spent a family weekend, 9 people and two dogs, the stay was magnificent, the perfect house! There was no shortage of details there was everything,the beds were very comfortable,the garden with its fantastic pool was an enjoyment since the weather accompanied, José offered us fruit from his organic garden, a great afrition that was attentive to any need or suggestion that was offered to us. A 10 totally recommended. Thank you Jose.

Very well located accommodation close to the beaches and the center of Viana. Flexible check-in and welcome by Lurdes who is adorable, as is the neighborhood! Very nice stay!

We had a great time in a very pleasant house to stay in, beautifully decorated, with spacious and bright rooms in a quiet area. Maria responds sympathetically and immediately to all requests and small problems.

Me and my sister stayed at Sandra’s (mom’s) place for almost a week, and we really felt at home. The house is spacious and very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen to make your own meals. Her mom lives upstairs with a really cute dog and enjoyed staying with them. The house is 5 min walk from the beach and the (kite-)surfing schools! Would really recommend staying here 🙏🏼✨

Wonderful house, perfect place, perfect home. We'll be back with great pleasure. Claudia and her husband are absolutely warm and very welcoming, always available and very good advice. The impeccable house, perfectly equipped, nothing is lacking. It was really perfect, it was perfect. The pool is ideal and adds even more charm,very well equipped too. We were 6 including a teenager and two children aged 4 and 8,everyone found their happiness. I recommend 1000 times ,thanks for everything ,we'll be back longer🥰🥰🥰.

Nice holiday place. Especially recommend it in summer. The swimming pool zone is equipped with sunbeds, barbecue. Nothing excess in the apartment, only things that you need for a good rest. There is a fireplace in the house.

Very nice and practically furnished house with a large garden, beautifully located in the old district of Afife. We particularly liked the location and the picturesque view from the balcony over the green gardens and stone walls to the sea. The house is perfect for one or even two families who appreciate the tranquility away from the hustle and bustle. In the immediate vicinity you can buy fine fresh rolls in the morning. Other shopping opportunities and two good restaurants are within walking distance. It takes a few minutes walk to the beautiful, barely crowded beach of Afife. Our children (12 and 15 years old) were also not deterred by the cool Atlantic water and have bathed in the Rio Afife and its shallow, warmer mouth water. Thank you very much Adriana for letting us experience this beautiful place! We highly recommend the house, Afife and surroundings.

Very quiet and lovely place. The view is superb and the owner is very nice. We had a great moment, perfect to disconnect and rest.

We spent 4 weeks at Natalia's place in May 2025. It is a lovely, spacious, family home with character and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the sun terrace for eating outside and relaxing, reading. Large kitchen and dining room. Upstairs has a comfortable lounge area. Bedrooms were generous sizes, 2 of them have their own private bathrooms. The other 2 share a bathroom. A beautiful mature and fully fenced garden which was secure and great for our dog. Location great, 15 to 20 mins drive to the nearby towns of either Ponte de Lima or Viano Do Costello, both of which well worth spending some time exploring. Both towns have an abundance of amenities eg supermarkets, restaurants, cafes etc. We also did day trips to Porto and Braga which are 1 hour or less away by car. Within a few steps of the house you have the river Lima with beach and picnic area on its banks, and the "Ecovia" trails for walking, cycling. The setting is truly stunning. Overall, a wonderful place.

The house was very nice, just as advertised. Good amenities, very nice outdoor spaces, everything clean and very well maintained. Carolina was very friendly, shared locally grown eggs and vegetables with us, as well as some local pastries, was always available and proactive, we felt right at home. Overall, a very nice experience.

A wonderful stay in a very spacious house. Outside bbq area great for recreation, Rosa, the host is gracious and gave us enough privacy. The description of facilities is accurate. I especially loved the short walk down to the beach.

Rosa was very communicative, friendly and responsible - very nice host. The apartment was clean and all set for the guest stay. Beautiful ocean views and fancy garden. Definitely recommended.
