Our stay was amazing. the apartment was beautifully decorated, you could really tell they put a lot of work into it. very luxurious but still gave a very cozy and comfortable vibe. the hot tub was really the cherry on the cake. The location is perfect for people who are looking for a place where to relax but also have a bit of night life. lots of shops, bakery's and restaurants around where you can try all the typical sicilian food. The rocky beach is barely even a 10 minute walk and it's just simply stunning, you can smell the ocean breeze even from the apartment. We absolutely loved this apartment. It was clean and spacious and looked exactly like the photos. So thoughtfully decorated and finished. Do not be put off by the street entrance - once you open the door at the top of the stairs, so much beauty awaits. There are lovely restaurants very close by, and there is easy access to all the sights. Salvo was an exceptional host - responded quickly to messages and checked up on us frequently. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Fabio's place was fantastic. The view is unbeatable. Parking, walkable into town and the view, the view is absolutely breathtaking. We loved our stay. My partner and I were traveling around Sicily for a few months, and my dog needed emergency surgery, and Fabio's place was the perfect spot for us to unwind, relax, and the views made it a great place to nurse our little pup back to health. You need a car here, and the location is only 15 minutes outside the city of Catania, perfect launch pad to explore the surrounding areas. Although, we didn't get to meet Fabio, he was always a text away, checking in on us, making sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend. I should also note, my partner and I work remotely, and he was so gracious to add a desk and chair so we both could work comfortably, with the beautiful views. We will for sure be back! This is a spacious airbnb with a wonderful view of Mt Etna. 5 minute drive to the local jeep tours of Mt Etna. Local grocery store just down the street. Comfortable beds. Would definitely come stay here again next time we visit and bring more family to enjoy the space and view!

Eine tolle Zeit haben wir dort verbracht. Leider nur 2 Nächte. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Es war genau das was wir brauchten. Und es ist ein interessantes und beeindruckendes Projekt.

We absolutely loved our stay in Mascalucia and wished we stayed longer. The team was so sweet! Aurelio is the best and even surprised us with a traditional granita breakfast and arancini snacks. Their hospitality is unmatched. We absolutely loved the villa, the tranquility of the private garden in the back (with kumquats and lemons we could enjoy), the gorgeous pool area, multiple terraces for meals, and the games room! The town is also conveniently located, an easy distance from Catania airport and super close to Etna explorations. We used it as a great base to see Syracuse, Taormina, Etna, and Catania. We will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to all our friends.

Grazia è stata un Host eccezionale, cordiale disponibile e professionale. L'appartamento è bellissimo e pulitissimo confortevole e soprattutto super accessoriato dalla cucina al bagno e alle camere da letto e soggiorno nn manca nulla. apprezzatissimo regalo di ben venuto , fatto a mano da Grazia😊 Consiglio assolutamente di pernottare in questo appartamento 'il cuore di Lavica', posto strategico a Pennisi , se dovete visitare la zona della riserva dei ciclopi Acitrezza, santa tecla ad Acireale, la bella Taormina ed il suggestivo Etna tutto molto vicino e facile da raggiungere!!! sono stata davvero soddisfatta del mio soggiorno e ringrazio di cuore dell' ospitalità offertami!!!

We loved our stay at this apartment! The location was perfect to enjoy the historic district and very accessible to wonderful restaurants and lots of things to do. The hosts were amazing! Extremely responsive and proactive. They gave a wonderful list of recommendations from things to do to Taxi information to restaurants. I highly recommend this Airbnb!

The apartment is lovely, it was such an amazing opportunity to not feel like a tourist, like a real Sicilian. Plenty of places to eat and beautiful sights very close. The only down side is parking. There is never parking in the piazza, so don’t get your hopes up. But there is a nice parking lot a few blocks away and a good deal to not to stress about finding free parking spaces. Acireale is a gem of Sicily for sure!

Attilio heeft werkelijk voor alles gezorgd in dit smaakvol ingericht appartement. Je komt hier niets tekort, volledig ingerichte keuken, wasmachine, usb-kabels voor het opladen van alle apparatuur, droogrek op het terras,. Het appartement ligt op het gelijkvloers, heeft een heel groot terras met een prachtig uitzicht op de zee, twee ruime slaapkamers met elk een eigen badkamer. Ondergronds is er een garage. Wij kwamen aan op een feestdag waardoor het ’s avonds lawaaierig op straat was. Maar door het sluiten van de ramen en rolluiken werd het geluid goed gedempt. De kleine attenties (fles water in de koelkast, snoepjes en knabbels, koffiepads, zeep voor de wasmachine, shampoo en zeep in de badkamers) en de vele tips maken van Attilio een perfecte gastheer. Dit is een echte aanrader!!

Wunderschöne, neue Unterkunft mit tollem Balkon und herrlicher (Gemeinschafts-)Dachterrasse. Kommunikation mit Roberta war top, sie hat sich um alles super schnell gekümmert. Lage ist strategisch gut für Ausflüge zum Ätna oder nach Taormina. Einen Parkplatz haben wir immer vor dem Haus oder in einer Straße ums Eck (am Wasser) gefunden.

Wonderful stay! I took my mom to Sicily for the first time and this was a most ideal place and setting. The service and attention was exceptional and made you feel right at home upon arrival. The room seemed like it was newly renovated with nice modern furnishings and technology and also immaculately clean. Perfect patio view of La Isola Bella. The outdoor pool was clean as well. If you chose not to rent a car you can take a bus which picks you up about halfway down the hill and it takes you to the beach as well as the center of Taormina. I would return here anytime. The flat was perfectly situated just a short walk from the main town. The balcony was great for sunbathing on during the day and quiet enough to spend an evening dining out on.

Clelia a její partner na nás čekali v dohodnutý čas v bytě. Kromě předání bytu nám dali dobrá doporučení ohledně nákupů, restaurací a tipů na výlety. Byt byl vybaven vším potřebným a vše bylo plně funkční. V kuchyni nechybělo základní vybavení. K dispozici byla mletá káva, cukr, sůl i základní koření a dochucovadla. Mile nás překvapilo startovací vybavení lednice vychlazenou balenou vodou a dalšími věcmi. Koupelna je také vybavená velkou spoustou věcí, které cestovatel ocení, a už šampóny, mýdla, opalovací krémy, lékárnička, prací gel. Kolem bytu je terasa, na které jsme si užívali snídaně s výhledem na Isole dei Ciclopi a náš syn trávil večery v zavěšené houpací síti. Ocenili jsme o sbírku průvodců a map, které byly k dispozici. Myslím, že tam bylo i vybavení na pláž. Byt je na klidném místě, ale nedaleko hlavní silnice i v docházkové vzdálenosti do živého přístavu s mnoha restauracemi. Spousta krásných míst na okolní výlety. Určitě doporučuji!

Wonderful house and location! We loved it here. The house has a lot of beautiful furniture, as well as an open terrace with a great view. The host Franco was so very kind, gave us many recommendations on local beaches and cafes

I’m not sure I can sum this up in 1000 words but our stay at Roberto’s was beyond any expectation. Not only was it spotlessly clean, perfectly located and had its own parking, it was a 5 minute walk to the cable car to Taormina town (quick 3-4 min ride). The nearby restaurants were phenomenal especially Bel Assai and Blum. Both walkable within 5 minutes. Roberto as a host is simply the best we’ve ever had. There were multiple snacks and beverages for us upon arrival and everything you could ever want from an Airbnb experience. His charm and care were off the charts. Tanjit, his very strong helper, was available for any questions or inquiries we had as well. All in all it was our favorite stay not only in Sicily but in the course of our 20+ Airbnb’s around the world. To be fair- yes, there are many steps to the property but every single one was worth the experience. If you get the opportunity book it immediately. There’s no place like it in the world.

Gwendalina's place was exactly as pictured and very centrally located right next to the cathedral and the fish market. The terrace was a great addition. Gwendalina was also super proactive with check-in and was very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Very nice, very clean, very good equipped and designed apartment. We can absolutely recommend to stay here! Beach, supermarket and good restaurants are available but ideally you have a car.

Virginie was one of the most helpful and proactive hosts we have come across at airbandb. She made booking in really easy and gave us lots of really useful information about the area. The apartment itself was much bigger than we expected. It was 5 star - clean, comfortable, quiet, great facilities. There were lovely places to eat and drink around the corner and we were able to walk to all the main areas. Thank you, Virginie!!
