Our stay was amazing. the apartment was beautifully decorated, you could really tell they put a lot of work into it. very luxurious but still gave a very cozy and comfortable vibe. the hot tub was really the cherry on the cake. The location is perfect for people who are looking for a place where to relax but also have a bit of night life. lots of shops, bakery's and restaurants around where you can try all the typical sicilian food. The rocky beach is barely even a 10 minute walk and it's just simply stunning, you can smell the ocean breeze even from the apartment. We absolutely loved this apartment. It was clean and spacious and looked exactly like the photos. So thoughtfully decorated and finished. Do not be put off by the street entrance - once you open the door at the top of the stairs, so much beauty awaits. There are lovely restaurants very close by, and there is easy access to all the sights. Salvo was an exceptional host - responded quickly to messages and checked up on us frequently. Fabio's place was fantastic. The view is unbeatable. Parking, walkable into town and the view, the view is absolutely breathtaking. We loved our stay. My partner and I were traveling around Sicily for a few months, and my dog needed emergency surgery, and Fabio's place was the perfect spot for us to unwind, relax, and the views made it a great place to nurse our little pup back to health. You need a car here, and the location is only 15 minutes outside the city of Catania, perfect launch pad to explore the surrounding areas. Although, we didn't get to meet Fabio, he was always a text away, checking in on us, making sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend. I should also note, my partner and I work remotely, and he was so gracious to add a desk and chair so we both could work comfortably, with the beautiful views. We will for sure be back! This is a spacious airbnb with a wonderful view of Mt Etna. 5 minute drive to the local jeep tours of Mt Etna. Local grocery store just down the street. Comfortable beds. Would definitely come stay here again next time we visit and bring more family to enjoy the space and view!

We absolutely loved our stay in Mascalucia and wished we stayed longer. The team was so sweet! Aurelio is the best and even surprised us with a traditional granita breakfast and arancini snacks. Their hospitality is unmatched. We absolutely loved the villa, the tranquility of the private garden in the back (with kumquats and lemons we could enjoy), the gorgeous pool area, multiple terraces for meals, and the games room! The town is also conveniently located, an easy distance from Catania airport and super close to Etna explorations. We used it as a great base to see Syracuse, Taormina, Etna, and Catania. We will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to all our friends.

I had a wonderful stay at Grazia’s Apartment. She even provided me with breakfast and some drinks. The place is very spacious and quiet, the bed was very comfortable. It is conveniently located at the base of Mt Ätna for those who want to explore it.

The apartment is lovely, it was such an amazing opportunity to not feel like a tourist, like a real Sicilian. Plenty of places to eat and beautiful sights very close. The only down side is parking. There is never parking in the piazza, so don’t get your hopes up. But there is a nice parking lot a few blocks away and a good deal to not to stress about finding free parking spaces. Acireale is a gem of Sicily for sure!

First of all, the accessibility for transportation and sightseeing is very good. We all walked. It is convenient to travel by bus from the airport. It is about 15 minutes on foot from the bus stop to the accommodation. There are small marts around the accommodation, and large marts are about 20 minutes away. The Duomo Square and the fish market are 10 minutes away. The bus terminal for Taormina, Siracusa, etc. is 25 minutes away. In particular, the view from the balcony is fantastic in reality, better than in the photos. You can see the Baroque church right across the street, and it is good to enjoy a light drink on the balcony at the golden hour when the sun is setting. The surroundings are quiet. The accommodation matches the photos and description, and she is friendly. The condition of the bed is important to us, and the bedding, pillows, and mattress (low and firm) are good for a good night's sleep. The kitchen is also perfect for cooking. Wonderful stay! I took my mom to Sicily for the first time and this was a most ideal place and setting. The service and attention was exceptional and made you feel right at home upon arrival. The room seemed like it was newly renovated with nice modern furnishings and technology and also immaculately clean. Perfect patio view of La Isola Bella. The outdoor pool was clean as well. If you chose not to rent a car you can take a bus which picks you up about halfway down the hill and it takes you to the beach as well as the center of Taormina. I would return here anytime. The flat was perfectly situated just a short walk from the main town. The balcony was great for sunbathing on during the day and quiet enough to spend an evening dining out on.

Antonio personally welcomed us and explained everything in detail. He is very friendly. He was always available for questions and helped immediately. We felt very comfortable in the apartment. This is exceptional: very spacious with large terrace. The furnishings are of very high quality. The location is very central. Parking is possible directly at the house. We can definitely recommend the place.

i loved staying in this central apartment for 3 nights. There was a supermarket located straight across the street. It was about 10 mins walk to the Piazza Duomo which was handy. Lots and lots of restaurants a couple of blocks away. Loved the high quality coffee machine, modern air conditioning and netflix. The bed was comfortable and towels nice snd fluffy. My hosts were very responsive and helpful. Loved this apartment and would happily stay again.

Very nice, small apartment with a dream view from the balcony over the small harbor. Modern, very tastefully furnished and well equipped (dishes, kitchen utensils, towels, etc.) Nice restaurants in the immediate vicinity. You are in a village environment and yet not too far from the center of Catania. However, it is not so easy to get there by bus, because the one line 534 to the city center only runs very rarely. However, there is a train station "Picanello" 7 minutes' walk away, where a train runs to the main train station (and usually further to the airport) about every half hour. If Mario had told me that before, I could have saved the 50 euros for the taxi... But that's the only thing I have to complain about at this place!

Wonderful house and location! We loved it here. The house has a lot of beautiful furniture, as well as an open terrace with a great view. The host Franco was so very kind, gave us many recommendations on local beaches and cafes

I’m not sure I can sum this up in 1000 words but our stay at Roberto’s was beyond any expectation. Not only was it spotlessly clean, perfectly located and had its own parking, it was a 5 minute walk to the cable car to Taormina town (quick 3-4 min ride). The nearby restaurants were phenomenal especially Bel Assai and Blum. Both walkable within 5 minutes. Roberto as a host is simply the best we’ve ever had. There were multiple snacks and beverages for us upon arrival and everything you could ever want from an Airbnb experience. His charm and care were off the charts. Tanjit, his very strong helper, was available for any questions or inquiries we had as well. All in all it was our favorite stay not only in Sicily but in the course of our 20+ Airbnb’s around the world. To be fair- yes, there are many steps to the property but every single one was worth the experience. If you get the opportunity book it immediately. There’s no place like it in the world.

Gwendalina's place was exactly as pictured and very centrally located right next to the cathedral and the fish market. The terrace was a great addition. Gwendalina was also super proactive with check-in and was very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Very nice, very clean, very good equipped and designed apartment. We can absolutely recommend to stay here! Beach, supermarket and good restaurants are available but ideally you have a car.

The apartment itself was much bigger than we expected. It was 5 star - clean, comfortable, quiet, great facilities.
