We spent 3 nights staying at the Mowhay. It was the perfect mix of peaceful hideaway whilst being well connected to major roads and local amenities. The accommodation was well laid out with a very well equipped kitchen. Claire was great at communicating from booking to check out and we met Geoff a couple of times during our stay who was super friendly. Would thoroughly recommend!

Liberty Barn Cottage is the prefect tranquil getaway. Lots to do locally and the amazing facilities at the cottage for R&R. We would most definitely return again. The hosts Tracey and Marky are passionate about hospitality and it shows in everything they do. Highly recommended.

Lovely little cottage with fantastic hot tub and outdoor space. Walking distance to Polperro village and easy access to the coastal path too.

Had a wonderful stay at Silva Cottage.The cottage was beautiful and had everything a person could need and very clean. The location was amazing set in woods and so so quiet apart from the birds which were a delight to see and hear especially watching the comings and going’s of Woodpeckers on the bird feeder. The hot tub was spectacular.Set in the woods nothing could compare to sitting back and enjoying the tub with a glass of fizz. We had a great recommendation from Lorraine for an Indian Takeaway which delivered to the cottage and ate a great lunch at The Tamar Inn at Calstock. Great location for walkers with Dartmoor on one side and Bodmin Moor on the other plus the coastal path. Would highly recommend this property and would love to return.

Beautiful traditional Cornish cottage located within a very peaceful village but only 10mins drive from loads of beautiful beaches. Added benefit of a hot tub which unfortunately we didn’t get to use with a 2 year old in tow! Would highly recommend.

A really homely cottage. Perfect for a few days getaway. Unfortunately it rained on our break so ended up stuck inside. It would have been nice to have sat outside more! Overall it has what it says on the tin. Don't go here if you are expecting all mod cons and a pristine home. It's just somewhere cosy to get away from it all, with friendly owners and lots of privacy.

A fabulous little hideaway perfect for dogs! Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing break! The secure garden meant the dogs could roam freely and every detail was thought of. The house was immaculate and really comfortable and a great central base for exploring Cornwall. We WILL be back!

Exactly what we were looking for! A beautiful location, extremely peaceful, private hot tub and a cosy space to fully relax for the weekend. Already looking to book again!

We really enjoyed our stay at little Chyshore Barn. The accommodation has everything you would need for a relaxing few days, we did four National Trust Day's!!! Glendurgan garden being our favourite. Gary and Sally were good hosts, and available should you need them. We would love to return someday.

One of the best airbnbs we have stayed in! Such a beautiful, cosy feeling, with everything you’d want for a comfortable stay. Loved the furnishings and vibe of the place, I can tell a lot of love has gone into it! Also the garden is just dreamy! Great friendly, communicative host!

Super friendly helpful hosts with a great cottage with everything you need for your stay. Comfy bed. Top notch power shower. Nice coffee machine. Cottage is edge of village with some fabulous views. Quiet and comfy accommodation. Walkable (5 minutes) friendly locals pub in village. Walkable (10 minutes) Spar supermarket and the lovely Kay’s Fish and Chip shop. Thanks Jim and Lyn. We have had a lovely week at Riverside Cottage, the cottage is picture perfect , very clean and had everything you could need. Adrian and Lucy were friendly, welcoming and helpful without intruding , they were very understanding of our anxious dog and the private, secluded garden at the garden was perfect, lovely local walks right next to the cottage. A perfect relaxing and restful stay. Will certainly go again.

What a lovely cottage in a great location. Everything you could need was here with the addition of treats left by the owner Michelle to welcome us. Very comfy bed and practical wet room. Nearby the Miners Arms 2 or 3 minute walk away was an added bonus for drinks and food. We can highly recommend this characterful cottage and its owner Michelle. Thanks again Andy and Kate

This cottage is described as quirky, which it is, and is a delight to stay in. It was equipped with everything we needed and had a very nice feel to it. The village of Mawnan Smith offers a lot with an excellent shop and pub. The nearest beach of Maenporth is within walking distance and has a great beach cafe. We would definitely like to stay in this cottage again and will be recommending it to friends.

This is the best Air B’nB we’ve ever stayed at - across three continents. We wanted somewhere quiet, spacious, and based in the centre of Cornwall to enable day-trips North, South, East and West. We couldn’t have found anywhere better. The cottage was spotless, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped with a user-friendly guidebook, local recommendations, and the best-equipped kitchen you’ll ever find, with tea, coffee and snacks provided. There’s a washer (with detergent!) to enable longer stays, and the peace and quiet of beautiful countryside location was hard to give up at the end of our stay. Rosie was incredibly helpful and attentive without intruding, and I’m only sorry our stay wasn’t longer. If we ever return to Cornwall and are looking for somewhere peaceful but well-connected by road, Rosie’s cottage will be top of our list.

Sea Garden Cottage is a wonderful place to stay and Beth is an extremely warm and friendly host. It is clear to see how much love and attention Beth has put into the cottage and we felt completely comfortable, cosy and right at home. The cottage is wonderfully situated near the coastal path and there are plenty of great walks in beautiful surroundings and close to a pub. Sea Garden Cottage had everything we needed for a perfect holiday.

Perfect for our stay, warmth if needed after a swim, view of the sea. Everything worked. Jo near by for any questions, always quick to respond. Bought my 96 year old mum who could walk to the cove and was easy to drive down to collect her. Good swimming near by always a plus.

Praze Barn is the loveliest place to stay for a peaceful retreat. We had the nicest time - the local area is amazingly beautiful and the barn felt fitting to return to as it was gorgeous, cozy and bright. Lots of great info about the area in the guide left in the house which was really useful. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially if you want a peaceful weekend away - perfect place to reset!

Lovely hideaway, comfortable cottage with well equipped kitchen and plenty of space. Within easy walking distance of Melinsey Mill (worth a visit!) and slightly more challenging walking distance to Pendower beach. Also a short driving distance to plenty of fantastic places - Heligan, St Mawes and Portscatho. Owners Annie and Brian were lovely, incredibly helpful and gave excellent advice on where to eat and where to visit.

we stayed at this beautiful cottage with our 2 year old and absolutely had the best time, the cottage was just as described and more! so spacious, peaceful and well equipped, cosy soft beds, cot and highchair, and loads of hot water for baths. Alison was so helpful as host, she went above and beyond to supply a few extras to us during our stay and was always available if we needed. a really lovely private house thats near to the most beautiful bits of Cornwall for easy day trips. highly recommended and we hope to return. thanks Alison and family!

We had a lovely time at Abby’s cottage, it was very peaceful and relaxing. There are lots of walks to local beaches and also the South West Coast Path is nearby. St. Mawes is a 15 minute drive away and very pretty with nice places to eat and a ferry to Falmouth.

Great accommodation that had everything we needed as a family! We felt very comfortable and would like to stay longer next time. The beautiful garden and nearby beaches were perfect for a relaxing break ❤️🌊☀️

Very nice and very well-maintained accommodation. The location is perfect for both extensive coastal walks and exploring the surrounding area. The landlord is always helpful and extremely nice and accommodating.

If you are hesitating about booking Cliff Cottage in Portloe then please don’t even question it…just book it! By far the loveliest Air B n b we have had the privilege to stay in. Annie and Giovanni are perfect hosts. Charming, warm, always available and welcoming but never intrusive. Together they have created a little piece of heaven. The cottage is gorgeous and perfectly situated. The incomparable views, peace and tranquillity, creative interior design, attention to detail, thoughtful extras and the comfort and cleanliness of the cottage combine to create something truly magical. They have literally thought of everything. We felt instantly at home. My husband spent most of his time staring out of the window enjoying the views and we loved spending time in the garden and enjoying the sound of the waves. Loads to do in the local area. Stunning coastal walks in either direction and the village of Portloe captured our hearts. We truly did not want to leave.
