Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in Rooi Els. Heide hat uns herzlichst empfangen und uns verschiedene Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten empfohlen. Die Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft und die Ausstattung hervorragend. Wir haben uns direkt zuhause gefühlt. Die Kommunikation war super einfach, schnell und freundlich. Ich kann einen Aufenthalt von Herzen empfehlen! Vielen Dank

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible Airbnb property, and I can’t recommend it enough! The rooms were not only spacious but also exceptionally comfortable, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Each room featured its own ensuite bathroom, adding a layer of convenience and privacy that we truly appreciated. The common areas were large and impeccably clean, providing a welcoming atmosphere for relaxation or gathering with family and friends. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the amazing pool – it was the perfect spot for unwinding and soaking up the sun. Overall, this property provided an exceptional experience, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

Perfect getaway! The place was absolutely stunning, you could see the thoughtfulness that went into the place, the decor and even the small details such as swimming towels, blankets on the sofa, logs by the fire place, diffusers and scents around the house, etc. Our stay was short but blissful. Definitely would stay longer a next time to enjoy the wood fire hot tub some more and the BBQ area in the back. The place is close to many wonderful restaurants and activities yet when you get home it's completely private and peaceful. Mark was an extremely responsive host and very easy to communicate with. We had the most incredible stay and cannot recommend this place highly enough! From the moment we arrived, Rozanne made us feel completely at home — she’s a truly exceptional host: warm, thoughtful, and always available if we needed anything. The home itself is stunning, with stylish and beautifully curated interior décor that strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. The indoor fireplace was a cozy highlight, and we spent unforgettable dinners at the indoor Braai (bbq) enjoying great food. And the view — absolutely to die for. Waking up to the sight of Springboks and Zebras roaming in the distance felt like something out of a dream. Despite its elegant design, the house was surprisingly child-friendly, making it an ideal getaway for our whole family. Every detail was considered. We’re already thinking of our return — next time, to catch the whales! Thank you again, Rozanne, for everything.

I am writing this review while we are still at the property. We have stayed in many AirBnB's, but never have we encountered a place as fascinating as Kloof House. Nestled into the trees, at the bottom of the mountains, is this haven of peace. Due to the way it is built we feel one with nature. The interior is thoughtfully dominated by wood and endless floor to ceiling glass, it is warm and intriguing. We constantly stop to gaze at the forest. It almost feels a bit like being part of Jurassic Park, just without the dinosaurs. Inside it is pure luxury, no expenses have been spared, top notch appliances and so generously stocked, incredibly beautiful and stylish furniture, insanely comfortable beds. The nature pool, large hot tub and braai area are a real treat. All of this coupled with the friendliness and immediate responsiveness of the hosts makes this getaway one we will never forget. Thank you so much Keri and Louise!!

What a lovely house and the host was amazing, very responsive and friendly. The house had lovely amenities, lovely crockery and cutlery, awesome bedding. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay for our holiday in Onrus. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful home to stay in, with everything we needed (and more). Tracy Lee was really accommodating of flexible check-in times, and was super responsive as well. The home is very well finished, with ample space for larger groups. It's in a nice location as well. Would recommend for larger families and groups.

Beautifully decorated and well appointed beach home. Carla is a communicative host who responded quickly to requests. Well located very close to the sea and the cliff path. Would definitely return.

Exceeded our high expectations - the perfect base for an extended stay in Hermanus. Wonderful home with absolutely all the extras that you could need. Will be back as soon as we can..

Sue’s place was an absolute dream. It was as clean as a pin, was cosy and welcoming and the garden and courtyard were a hit with the kids. Sue’s communication was outstanding and we are very thankful for the lovely stay. Highly recommended!

We were absolutely blown away by how well equipped this Airbnb was! It had everything we could have needed and more. Best place we have stayed in. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, braai fully ready to use, kitchen essentials - wow, everything! Bathrooms had all the amenities. Great sitting area off the main room and grassy area our grandson enjoyed running in. Top security, we unfortunately discovered, when our grandson pushed the panic button. Our host messaged and security double checked all was well - impressive (and embarrassing).

When you are in need of relaxation, privacy and luxury, the Hangklip Villa is the place for you! Being in a nature reserve and not close to any neighbours are an added bonus. Everything is well planned for comfort - from the lovely living area to the upper 'reading room' with its magnificent views over the ocean. The kitchen is a chef's dream and the main bedroom is well equipped and stunningly beautiful. To top it all the views of the mountains can be viewed from all the rooms patios and is just as breathtaking. Eric is a super host and extremely helpful. The 5 stars are well deserved!

Location is excellent. The bedrooms are very comfortable. We had a great time!

Die Aussicht auf das Meer und auf die Bucht würde auch 6 Sterne bekommen, falls das möglich wäre. Alle 3 Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und mit eigenem Bad. Wir hatten zu viert reichlich Platz. Der Pool mit 'Cabrio-Dach' macht Spaß und hat den gleichen tollen Ausblick aufs Meer wie das Wohnzimmer. Insgesamt trotz des gehobenen Preises eine runde Sache. Wenn jemand gerne und viel selber kochen möchte, ist die Küche nur bedingt geeignet - trotzdem 5 Sterne, da die 4 Sterne für die Küche von den 6 Sternen für den Ausblick ausgeglichen werden.

We loved staying here, we were two families of 4 and there was more than enough space for all of us. It felt like staying in a real home (which is was!!) and not a typical airbnb just set up to rent out. Loved it, we walked to the beach a few times, a 15 minute walk. The tiny pool is great for a morning cold plunge. :)

We had the most incredible stay at Zebra Views! The house was impeccably maintained, spotlessly clean and so comfortable for our group of four adults and two little ones. Our 4 and 1 yr old had the time of their lives, running freely between the front and backyard. On our second day, we were surprised by a turtle wandering into the garden, and later, two zebras casually strolled by just outside. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The sunsets alone are worth the trip, golden skies like we’ve never seen before. The home had everything we could possibly need, and the thoughtful welcome gift of fresh bread and a bottle of wine was such a warm touch. We truly hope to return soon, it was nothing short of magical!

We LOVED the house and felt very comfortable there. It is very quite, safe, close to the beach and the house is just beautiful. Very tasteful interior design and everything needed was there. We would love to come back some time. Definitely recommendable!!!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was incredibly spacious and had exceptional panoramic sea views – even better than the photos. It’s perfectly located, very central to all the Hermanus amenities while still feeling peaceful and private. We felt safe, relaxed, and completely at home. Our doggies loved it too – plenty of space and a calm environment for them to enjoy. Highly recommended – we left feeling rested and will definitely be back!
