We had a lovely week at la Bardoire. The house is very well-equipped and comfortable. Delphine is a very responsive host. There are several minor maintenance issues which need attention and then it would be perfect.

Marie-Rose was incredibly kind and helpful during our stay! Her gardens are beautifully maintained. We felt right at home here.

We had a very good stay with friends and our children. Christophe welcomed us and we toured the property together. Listing exactly matches the photos and description. 30 minutes from the zoo, we were able to enjoy the pool and the children were delighted! The house is in a peaceful and very well maintained place. Christophe was available if needed but everything necessary was already in place to have a good stay! I highly recommend it!

It was a great stay in Le petite maison. Beautiful nature, beautiful swimming pool and a huge garden. Really enjoy; here you can completely relax.

We loved staying at Aulde’s place, the house was easy to live in, the garden was just wonderful with lots of equipment (table tennis, slackline, toys for all ages) and the heated swimming pool and the barbecue of course. Aulde was a very responsive, helpful and nice host, she made our check-out and check-out smooth and straightforward. Location-wise, I highly recommend this place as it is perfect to visit castles from the Loire Valley (Chambord, Chenonceau, Chaumont, etc.) as well as historical towns (Blois), you find really good restaurants and Loire wine shops in the area, finally all shops you need are nearby. We all spent great holidays there and would definitely go again, so I can’t recommend it enough. 😊

Frederic is an amazing host and goes above and beyond the normal host responsibilities. He attended to all our needs, questions, and curiosities. His property is something quite special!

Excellent stay in this haven of peace and nature in the middle of the Loire castles! Former sheepfold tastefully renovated, warm and spacious overlooking a terrace with a view of the horse meadow!!! Evelyne and Pierre are very welcoming hosts who love nature and animals, with a beautiful family estate full of life!

Very good welcome and very pleasant communication with Brigitte and Ingrid. We really appreciated their flexibility for the arrival and departure time. The house is very beautiful, located in a quiet area of Vendôme, the courtyard is very large, ideal with children and convenient for parking. House renovated with great taste and very well equipped. Everything was very clean.

We were immersed in the Harry Potter atmosphere. Exchanges with Adeline are easy and fluid. The place is cozy, well decorated, there are plenty of ingredients for cooking (a first for all of us), the outside is sufficiently well furnished. The location of the house is quiet despite the fact that it is by the road.

A house in a very pleasant and beautiful setting. Easy access to the city center and water points, by bike or on foot. If you have forgotten toiletries, the house offers them at a modest price. Bikes are also available with on-site rental. Pascal is a very friendly and responsive.

Very good stay in this outbuilding of the owners house that adjoined but we were quiet and the house overlooked a very beautiful garden with terrace. We enjoyed listening to the birds chirping, so many. Notice to city dwellers in need of nature! Enjoyed the proximity to the city center and its small shops. Mr. and Mrs. CADIO

We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights. The beds were comfortable the house was superb. It had a beautiful energy about the place and was relaxing. The chickens kept us entertained outside. And we enjoyed walks around exploring the gardens. ALS the blackberries were in season and simply delicious 👌 we enjoyed our final night sitting in front of the fireplace sipping a glass of red wine.. highly recommend

Very friendly welcome by Frédéric; the accommodation was more than impeccable! Tasteful decoration! The accommodation was located on our route (Santiago de Compostela), and in direct proximity to the center on foot! A really nice place, no hesitation!

Excellent location very close to the historical centre of Vendome. Despite being in the centre of a city it was very quiet, safe and had a large garden area around the pool with mature trees keeping the house cool. The bakery and market on Friday are only a short walk away.

The cottage is a real gem! The garden and outdoor spaces are absolutely beautiful, the interior of the house is perfectly decorated and furnished: nothing is missing! The bedding is very comfortable. The house is located in the heart of the village of Lavardin and allows you to easily enjoy all the beauty of the place. Our stay was absolutely perfect! Thank you to Stéphane for his responsiveness and warm welcome. We can't wait to come back:)

The house is located in a park of extreme beauty, with magnificent trees, thousands of flowers, hundreds of birds and a group of ducks. All complemented by a very beautiful and large heated swimming pool. The house is well decorated, very well equipped. The vegetation, very dense in front of the house, completely isolates it from the rest of the property; the privacy is total, and makes this place a true haven of peace. The owners are lovely, both discreet and caring. There are many and varied shops just over 5 minutes away by car. Thank you to Christophe and Sébastien for their warm welcome!

Pleasant stay, impeccable responsiveness

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

Great family stay in this impeccable and well thought out accommodation. The kitchen is a little small but complete, the rooms are spacious, labels on all the furniture (very practical so as not to waste time looking for what you want) and a magnificent park not sufficiently highlighted in the listing😉. Baby-friendly accommodation with everything you need to accommodate them (several high chairs, several cribs or folding beds, games shared with the owners...). We really feel that the owners are committed to welcoming us. In short, I recommend it and a big thank you to Agnès and her family

great place, the apartment was superb, the decor, the cleanliness, everything! the small outdoor space with jacuzzi, in the sun but which offers shade at the top, for everything to be perfect, a small freezer space in the fridge would have been a plus in this hot weather but otherwise nothing to complain about, very welcoming and discreet host at the same time, really recommend!
