Holiday rentals with lake access in Vendee

We had a very nice stay with the family, the location is quiet and peaceful, a large room pleasant to live in and friendly and accommodating hosts. We were able to bring our dogs there. 10-15 minutes from the city center on foot, Super U and good restaurant nearby. Top 👍

superb super warm cottage. we stayed at 13 and there is everything you need. from linens to barbecue to jaccuzi. if we get a chance, we'll come back without hesitation. Marine is available, and very friendly. little plus check-in times 4pm and check-out times before 7pm are rather comfortable.

We had a great weekend at Anne's place. We came to visit the Oriental Park and spend time with the family. We appreciated not having to take the weekend car, the park and the small village with all the amenities, being accessible on foot. With 5 adults, we were all comfortable whether inside in the living room or in the bedrooms and outside on the terrace or deckchairs. We found the accommodation very pleasant. The bedding is very good and the environment is very relaxing. Anne welcomed us with good humor and kindly offered us a Check-out after 10 a.m. as no one was arriving just after us. This allowed us to take the time and enjoy an extra quiet morning. We strongly recommend!

Excellent stay in Frédéric's accommodation: "coquettish" , very well equipped and arranged, well located with the quiet outdoor space which is a real plus. Parking in a secure location; possibility to put bikes near the terrace and possibly reload them ( eBike) Possibility to go by bike from the accommodation to go to Les Sables d 'Olonne see further on the Velodyssée (whether to the north or south) Very friendly welcome and immediate responsiveness from Frédéric. In total we were fully satisfied and recommend this accommodation without reservation

Nice private house in an excellent location (very close to Sauveterre beach & surf spot, close to shops and city center), with a beautiful garden. Pictures and description matched the listing, check in and check out smooth thanks to the helpful local agent Christine.

Excellent stay. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The cottage is very beautiful, well decorated, spacious and very well-equipped (the mattresses are very comfortable). It's very quiet and it's great to have the ping pong table and bikes. We will come back if we return to the area😊.

We had a great time. Very comfortable apartment and good location. The activities at Lake Bourgenay were great for the kids. The only downside, but not Mireille's responsibility, was that the large pool slides were closed "because it was low season". However, the pool was very busy, it's a shame. But the pool water had the merit of being heated. The nearby mini-golf is very nice. We also enjoyed the electric boats, the welcome in the restaurants and the nearby beach. To be repeated!

We were able to enjoy this accommodation during our visit to the area to attend the start of the Vendée Globe. Françoise is an extremely friendly and welcoming person. She also made our check-in much easier (we had some time constraints). The apartment is very nice, comfortable and perfectly functional. We'll be happy to go back on a future trip to Vendée. The accommodation matches the description in the listing, bright, functional apartment in a quiet environment. Its geographical location allows you to visit everything on foot and no longer use your vehicle. Chantal and Michel responded quickly to our requests and were very responsive. Very pleasant stay that we recommend.

The welcome was warm and attentive, and Jean-Yves, our host, was simply great: available, responsive and very friendly. It immediately feels like a home away from home. We have 4 top days at the estate. The mobile home is very well equipped and we were able to enjoy all the family activities of the campsite. The law is quiet and nature and the bikes have a real plus . A real soothing moment of relaxation for everyone

Beautiful accommodation, authentic, no fuss, everything is planned for a pleasant stay. Lots of attention for children with board games for all ages, costumes, outdoor games. 35 minutes from Puy du Fou, 50 minutes from Les Sables d'Olonne.... We appreciate the basic necessities to be immediately comfortable (laundry, soap, groceries, enough to have lunch...) as well as the beds made. We also appreciate the possibility of going to see the animals, picking a strawberry or collecting an egg... Excellent value for money!!!

Monique's house exceeded all our expectations. If you wanted peace and quiet then Chateau-Guibert is the place for you. The house is set in beautiful gardens with a wonderful view of the small fishing lake. There are no shops - only a baguette dispenser! - but Mareuil sur Lay Dissais was only about 5kms away by car. This was a charming village. The pool at the house made it as the coast is about an hour's drive away. We did go to La Rochelle and Les Sables D'Olonne and the coast inbetween, all about an hour's drive away as well. The house itself was extremely comfortable and very well kitted out - there was everything you could possibly need and more. Several different seating areas outside as well. Monique could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a delight to meet her. We would highly recommend this holiday home, and would be very happy to return here.
