Family-friendly holiday rentals in Veliko Tarnovo

We really enjoyed the natural beauty and tranquility of Stefan’s place. His mother welcomed us and showed us around. (She also gave us some Easter eggs and kozunak,which we all enjoyed.) The outdoor kitchen and foosball table were lots of fun, and the flowers were beautiful. It was plenty of space for two families with four kids between us (abs we want to come back when the pool is open). We visited Etar, Bojentsi and Dryanovo monastery and cave, all of which are 10-20 minutes away by car. Thank you for a great stay!

A true gem ! First off you don’t find many (if any) historic villas with a swimming pool at this magnificent Tarnovo location. One of a kind. Great location and accommodation and a great host !! As noted by others this is perfect for young families and the pool is very safe and kid friendly - even with a 4 year old. Very thoughtful and beautiful restoration of an old historic house just steps away from everything this amazing city had to offer. Would love to stay again there !

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful villa. The views are simply stunning as you sit by the pool looking towards the mountains. Very quiet and tranquil area. The village has its own lovely features (churches, walks and museums and plenty of good restaurants) which are all within walking distance of the villa, and it is just a short drive to Veliko Tarnovo (taxis are easy if you don’t want to drive). The owner lives in part of the house but this is arranged in such a way that there is no intrusion or lack of privacy. We were never actually aware the owner was there as the villa is so spacious and he uses a different entrance. Owner is very friendly and texts/queries were answered promptly with helpful recommendations eg where to dine out. The villa was cleaned half way through our week-long stay with change of towels and bed linen. Each room has its own en-suite. The kitchen is well equipped and the terrace opposite the pool has plenty of seating and large table – a shaded and cool spot to enjoy some wine and nibbles as you gaze at the mountains. There is also a good BBQ in the terraced area. The pool is lovely with whirlpool jets at one end. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Lovely restful place.

Wonderful pet friendly stay in the very heart of Veliko Tarnovo. We also were lucky to have a wonderful balcony in our apartment which made our stay especially delightful.

Къщата много се хареса на цялата компания. Мястото е много тихо и спокойно. Гледката също е красива. Кухнята е добре заредена и има всичко нужно. Човекът който ни посрещна беше много дружелюбен и гостоприемен. Беше нацепил дърва и запалил камината, за да ни е топло като влезем. Къщата определено си заслужава! :)

very nice cozy place, stayed there during new year

Самостійно заселилися. Це мансардне помешкання, до якого ведуть круті сходи. Не зовсім зручно підніматися та потрібно дещо пригинатися вже на горі, але всередині все чудово. Паркувалися під будинком.

Best airbnb ever! So much handy utility. Good coffeemachine, wonderfull magical house with small little surprises. We enjoyed every bit! A little Bulgarian Harry potter house-castle. Perfect for our family, get together!

Endroit paisible, parfait avec des enfants. Georgi nous a conseillés des endroits à découvrir dans le coin. La piscine dans le jardin était idéale pour se rafraîchir. Bon rapport qualité-prix. Je recommande fortement.

Totul a fost conform celor relatate in descriere. Am petrecut un weekend relaxant. Vila este conform asteptarilor, curata, utilata complet, atat bucataria, cat si restul camerelor. Bonus, am uitat un ceas, iar gazda ni l-a restituit prin serviciul de curierat. Va multumim!

Beautiful spot, lovely views, secluded. Spacious pool suitable for swimming, jumping, or just having a dip. Functional kitchen and cozy and cool bedrooms. 2 convenience stores at a walking distance and a local veg vendor selling local produce e.g. tomatoes, cucumbers, chillies, papers, melons, ….etc You can easily go all organic for half the cost you pay in the UK! 20 min drive you can get to either Veliko Tarnovo - a historic medieval town you must see, or Elena, another interesting town worth a visit. I think that the villa is actually better than shown in the description! If you want to eat out - you must go to Veliko Tarnovo , the medieval town 20 min drive or Arbanasi - a touristy village 15 drive from the villa. Arbanasi is also a place worth a visit.
