House holiday rentals in Veliko Brdo

Great accommodation with stunning views across the bay and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was something for everyone and the toys and trampoline were a bonus for our 2 young kids. Ivana is a fantastic host - great communication and she provided lots of very useful information about property and the surrounding areas.

Tonci's accommodation is a hidden gem. The approach is very steep and due to a bottleneck, it is recommended to use a small car (we rented a VW Polo and a Renault Capture). However, the hardships are definitely worth it! We were greeted around 8:30 pm by Tonci personally. He had provided a small cheese/sausage platter and showed us the apartment. Contrary to the statement that there was no hot water, there was some, you just had to turn the boiler switch. The apartment was clean and looked like the pictures. Up in the mountains, you have a lot of privacy. The nearest neighbors live a good 60m away. Tonci came by about every three days to maintain the pool (refill chlorine tablets and measure water level). While the pool was being refilled, there was time for questions about the surroundings and small conversations. We more than enjoyed our stay and can only recommend this accommodation.

The villa is fantastic and the local area is quiet but has enough restaurants and bars to keep you busy. Getting in and out of Split is easy and Uber is very good value (do not use local taxis). The standout feature of the property is the outside area including the views. It is easy to access the sea and beach, and the water is beautiful. The only potential to the villa is how it is split across two properties. This was not an issue for us at all, and for some people this may be a bonus, but worth noting.

We had an incredibly beautiful vacation and a great time all around! We were warmly welcomed at check-in - with a lovingly arranged plate that not only looked great, but was also really delicious. One evening, our hosts even grilled for us and spoiled us with delicious grill plates - that was a real highlight! The accommodation was equipped with everything you need on vacation – down to the smallest detail. There was really nothing missing. And if something was needed, the hosts brought it to us immediately and easily. In addition, there were great restaurant recommendations and always an open ear for questions or requests. The hosts were incredibly friendly, accommodating and appreciative – you just felt completely comfortable and welcome. We highly recommend this place and would come back any time. Thank you so much for this lovely time!

We have just returned from a vacation in this beautiful villa and we simply have to share our delight! We were looking for accommodation that offers complete privacy and relaxation, and this villa surpassed all our expectations. Nestled amidst unspoiled nature, the villa offers an incredible sense of peace and tranquility. Starting the day with the chirping of birds and fresh air, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, was a real balm for the soul. The pool was an absolute hit! Spacious, clean and with enough deckchairs for everyone - ideal for morning refreshment or afternoon enjoyment under the sun. We especially liked that the pool was completely private, which allowed us to relax without any interference. The garden is a story in itself. Beautifully decorated, with plenty of greenery and colorful flowers, and a multitude of vegetables, it is a true work of art. Every corner of the garden exudes care and love, providing the perfect ambience for evening gatherings or simply enjoying the silence. The child loved to explore every corner! This villa is not just accommodation, but a unique experience.

Had a wonderful stay! The place is just like the photos, with amazing views out to sea and across to Split. A fantastic outdoor space with the heated pool and outdoor kitchen where we prepared and cooked all our meals. The bedrooms were comfortable, with good temperature control, blackout shutters, and well sound insulated from any noises outside. Recommend the short hike up the hill behind the house for even more amazing views in all directions. Nina and Petar were great hosts, proactively making contact ahead of arrival and departure, meeting on our schedule, providing great recommendations for things to see and do, and being easily reachable if needed.

The most special place with stunning views but secluded and private. Thomas’s father who’s vineyard it is was super friendly and looked after us giving us wine, dates and fruit (from the garden) The cliff bar / cafe Corni Petar just to the right at the bottom of the drive then down the windy track on the left is amazing. Lovely chilled environment, quiet music and cold beer - visiting is a must. The beach below is very special and as we were at the start of the season practically empty which made it all the more mesmerising. Lots of lovely restaurants in Jelsa but a car / taxi is preferable to get there. Stari Grad and Vrboska are also very cute.

We spent an incredible 6 nights here. The views are out of this world. We loved the easy access to Sveta Nedilja's small but beautiful beach just below the house. The property has so many options for outside seating and lounging, and every corner is as beautiful as the next. We also loved the local restaurant, a 2 minute walk away! Marija is a wonderful, warm and kind host who made us feel so welcome. We cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Josipa's place is located up in the mountains but just 10 mins drive to punta rata a very nice beach spot. She will give you a parking card which we really appreciated as parking around it's a bit tricky House is basic but with everything you need Clean and comfortable We didn't enjoy much the space outside, table and chairs and the little allotment, of the house as we spent most of the time exploring the surroundings

Luka is an excellent host—very friendly and helpful. He provided us with plenty of great recommendations, so we always knew the best places to eat and where to grab a drink. Although the weather can be a bit unpredictable in late September, we had a wonderful time exploring Makarska. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy the clearest waters without the crowds.”

We had a great stay here! Everything matched the pictures exactly. Ria was super accessible, we immediately felt welcome and we got great tips. The area is beautiful, you can easily free your head from everyday life. Beautiful stone house with magnificent view over the sea. Very tastefully decorated. A little off the beaten track - a car is therefore highly recommended. Jovana is a great host and responds quickly. Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful experience staying at Milena and Mirko’s villa. From the moment we arrived, Milena made us feel incredibly welcome. She was warm, thoughtful, and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. Her hospitality was truly above and beyond – always available, kind, generous and full of advice and local secrets.  Mirko was equally lovely – a kind-hearted host who regularly checked on the villa to make sure everything was perfect. He even brought us thoughtful little gifts during our stay, which made us feel extra special. The villa itself is immaculately maintained. The pool and hot tub are outstanding, and the outdoor summer kitchen is a dream come true – perfect for cooking and relaxing in the stunning surroundings. The view from the villa gave us a true sense of peace and escape. We can't recommend this place enough. It’s clear that Milena and Mirko put their hearts into hosting this villa. We would definitely return.

Fantastic place to stay, this place is perfect location with only a 5-10 minute walk from an amazing beach. We were hiking most days in Biokovo and the accomodation was perfect location with amenities and the start of trails nearby. In addition, it’s very close to the bus station if you are travelling from elsewhere by bus. The flat was great, with a modern kitchen, bathroom and a balcony. The host (and his dad) was responsive and very friendly.

We spent five wonderful days at this beautiful Airbnb property in Croatia. The house was spacious and comfortable for our group of five. The swimming pool was a highlight, providing a great space to relax. The well-maintained gym was also a nice addition. The modern kitchen had all necessary utensils, and the living areas were comfortable with enough privacy for everyone. The location was excellent, with everything we needed nearby, including local attractions and nice restaurants. The hosts were friendly and helpful, offering great local tips. Overall, this was a fantastic accommodation experience, and we highly recommend it for a relaxing vacation in Croatia.

Can’t rate this place and this area highly enough. First visit to Croatia and fell in love. The house is perfect for a small family, everything you need, offstreet parking, plenty of space and god did we need the pool with the weather we had. Although you can walk down to the beach having a car was ideal as it was a 2 minute drive to the marina, shops or any of the wide range of restaurants. Milan is a top guy and great host. Responsive to any questions we had as it was our first visit to the country and couldn’t fault the whole experience.

We spent a week in the beautiful, very well-kept house. There's nothing missing. The pool, bathrooms, beds and kitchen can be described as upscale amenities. Great location with a view of the sea. We were at Marino and Ana's accommodation in Makarska at the beginning of June - and what can I say: an absolute dream. The accommodation is breathtakingly beautiful, modern and stylishly furnished, with a great pool. The view of the sea and the surrounding mountains is spectacular - waking up every morning was a real highlight. Everything was spotless to the last corner - you can see how much value Marino and Ana place on quality and cleanliness. The key handover also went completely smoothly and the communication with the two was perfect at all times – friendly, fast and uncomplicated. The location is fantastically quiet and perfect for relaxing. The path to the beach is more for athletic guests - but by car, scooter or taxi you can be down by the water in a few minutes. For us, it was the perfect combination of views, tranquility and proximity to the center. We would come back at any time and give 5 out of 5 stars in all categories - a clear recommendation.

Weve recieved all informations right after our stay was confirmed. The day we had to arrive was really flexible so we choose the time and right after arrival we had welcoming. Place was clean and ready to live. Kitchen was full of equipment for cooking and we also had some drinks in kitchen like a favor. There was not even one problem so I really recommend to choose this place for you holidays!
