Waterfront holiday rentals in Västernorrland County

We found Maria and Kent absolutely the best hosts, treated us more like long lost friends. We hope they come to visit us in Australia soon You really need your own transport to get there, we came by train but Kent offered to pick us up from the train station. Next day he took us down to the COOP shop for groceries but it didn't end there he also took us on a tour of the surrounds he is genuinely so proud of the piece of paradise where he lives. On our last day Maria took time off work to drive us back to the railway station. The location is stunning right next to Gissjo, the lake, lovely birch and fir trees all around. All around the lake you see the lovely Swedish farm building and dazzling green fields. Fransta, the township/village looks over Ljungan, a great waterway parts lake parts river. I would rate this place as a must see for any nature lover.

We had an amazing stay at Linnea’s beautiful home, which she cohosted with Oskar. Located on the peaceful outskirts of the charming town of Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, the house is perfectly positioned near the seaside, offering serene views of the water through its large windows. The home itself is spacious, thoughtfully furnished, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our children especially loved the wide-screen TV and the variety of toys, which made their time here extra enjoyable. Linnea was a warm and attentive host, making our stay even more memorable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Perfect location in the middle of town. Close to E4 so of course traffic is heard. Would have been great with blackout curtains in the bedrooms.

Nice host couple who offer a home that has everything for my needs and also with beautiful views and proximity to Sidsjön with large green areas.

I had an excellent experience during the month I rented this house. It was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The location is convenient and the neighborhood is quiet. The host was attentive and quick to respond. I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again.

A very nice home that suited the purpose. Tina is an incredibly good host who really does her utmost to make the stay as good as possible. She stood up with both one and the other that helped us when we ran into problems. A really good stay where the host did their utmost. Can you give 6 stars?

Maria & Tiago's accommodation is beautiful. Directly on Höga Kusten Leden and close to Köpmanholmen, the Skuleskogen Park and the ferry to Trysunda are within easy reach - Örnsköldsvik is not far away either. Maria & Tiago respond very quickly to questions and are very helpful. A clear recommendation!

The accommodation directly on the Baltic Sea in Njurunda is something very special. Secluded and out of sight, nestled between the sea and a beautiful forest. The sauna is great, the outdoor shower is refreshing. The toilet is modern and hygienic. The friendly host showed us everything extensively and was immediately on hand for minor technical questions. We went hiking in the area every day. The nature there is really breathtakingly beautiful and varied. It really was a great stay.

Super nice and accommodating host(s), helped us three fishermen find their way around among the local fishing opportunities. The accommodation was very cosy and homely. Would recommend.

Linnea's house was a very good option for our workers to stay in. The owner was always responding to our messages, answering our questions. The place is cosy and has everything that one may need when travelling for work purposes. It is a pity they could not stay longer, but hope to be back one day. The instruction book is such a good idea - it should be in every house :-) Our full recommendation :-)

The house was great to start from when we made the High Coast, good distance to a lot. A little worn but cozy and functional. Very good and nice communication with Gabriella and Fredrik who quickly pulled out when we had trouble with the shower, which was fixed quickly. Plus for the terrace where we had all the dinners, hot tub and trampoline for the children.

This is a unique house in a unique location. It's hard to describe, you have to experience it. There is a fantastic restaurant called Kajkanten at the local port (5 min. walk). The pasta dish was the best ever. The host Linéa is such a lovely person. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely little house with a homely feel. It has been lovingly restored so that it has every modern convenience but still has a traditional feel. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need and lots that you won’t. The surroundings are very peaceful. A very restorative spot.
