Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Varsity Lakes

Fantastic place, spacious, clean and great outdoor decking and pool areas. House has all needed amenities including good laundry and is very private. Access was easy and plenty of parking available. Perfect for families. Location is 3 mins from Benowa Village shopping centre which is very convenient. Support and communication from Janett was also great. We had a wonderful stay!

We had an incredible stay at Waterfall Drive, Wongawallan. The property is an absolute haven — tucked away in the scenic Gold Coast hinterland, yet still close enough to shops and coastal attractions. The home itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and designed to make the most of the surrounding natural beauty. Waking up each morning to the sounds of nature and expansive views of the rolling hills was a true highlight. The outdoor areas are stunning, perfect for relaxing with a coffee or wine, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it feel like your own private retreat. Inside, the layout is both functional and luxurious — ideal for families or couples looking for space, comfort, and privacy. The kitchen was well-equiped.

Amazing place! Doug and Deb's place is peaceful and comfortable. It is close to restaurants at Kingscliff and Casuarina or has everything you'd ever need to cook for yourself - we did a mix of both. The house is very welcoming and the beds very comfortable. There is a lovely walk to the beach and 2 cafes and there is also a dog friendly beach about 15-20 minutes' walk in the other direction. Don't miss Cubby cafe at Chinderah - a very short drive away. Go early to get a blueberry and lemon curd muffin - they're all gone by about 11am. All in all, we had a wonderful, relaxed 9 nights and highly recommend the house and its location.

Staying at Karen’s place was an absolute pleasure. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and sparkling clean, and Karen was always available to answer our questions. Highly recommended!

We had a great two night stay here. Great location, big secure backyard for the dogs and the beach and local bars and restaurants on your doorstep.

Excellent family holiday home! Our family had a wonderful time and were extremely happy with the property. The house is super spacious and well furnished. The butler's kitchen and small outdoor fridge helped a lot with lots of people sharing the house. There were minor defects here and there, such as missing tiles in the pool, but this should be expected with such a large family home.

We really enjoyed our stay in Varsity Lakes! The house was spacious, clean and was a great place for us to stay while we were on the Gold Coast to participate in the Gold Coast running festival. It's only a short drive to a number of restaurants, cafes etc. and also not far from Burleigh Heads, so a good location to make the most of our stay. Larissa was a great host! very responsive and clear on messages. Check in and out was super easy, and we were even able to bring our little dog along with us, which was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this place if staying on the Gold Coast!

We had a nice 2 night stay at Natalie's apartment in Burleigh Heads. the place was very clean and spacious. The only downside (totally out of Natalie's control) was the works on the main road out the front of the apartment and the bright lights from the building across the park (an eye mask would help with that). Natalie had fantastic communication and very friendly to communicate with. Nice and close to 3 breweries, a distillery and Coles and Aldi just 450m walk down the road. We would highly recommend staying at this accommodation.

Had a lovely stay at Lincoln’s place. The house was exactly as described and extremely clean and neat. Beautiful home!

An absolutely breathtaking house! We loved the view, how spacious the house was and the heated pool. It was so beautiful sitting on the deck at any time of the day and taking in the view. Sarabah Winery was only 5 minutes away which was great for lunch/afternoon drinks and the Canungra town was bout 10/15 minutes. In such a great spot, would highly recommend this house!

Christine & Andy were wonderful hosts! They responded quickly and clearly to all of our questions and were very welcoming ☺️ We will definitely recommend their place to friends and family and will likely come back ourselves 💕

Cannot recommend this place enough, it’s so clean and cute. Perfect location, beautiful property and the host is beyond accommodating. She went out of her way to help us, was so responsive and kind. So friendly and welcoming. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

Nice and clean. It was so great that Estelle let us early which is so great. Love the bathroom bath and wash stuff smells amazing. amazing apartments would love to go back. My dogs had the best time going to the beach which is walking distance. Thank you

Very spacious and private Air BnB with fully fenced garden and city view. Hayley was lovely and always very responsive. We were able to check in early, despite the very short notice which was great and our dog enjoyed the sunny outdoor area.

Excellent value for a place that’s a few mins walk from world class beaches. I really appreciated being able to stay there with my dog. Even though it is an older building, inside was great and welcoming. I didn’t mind the stairs up as I’m used to them. Everything you need and Chris was friendly and helpful.

Barnaby was truly amazing! He was very accommodating to me and my little family from beginning to end. He checked in to see if we needed new sheets, which was great. I think the only things that were a tiny downfall was not having a spare clothes rack to dry our clothes and a few bathmats to change over (I used one of our own towels and alternated) and some face washes to wash our daughters face in the shower before bed. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay!!

Qian is so lovely she responds quickly she is helpful and wants your stay to be as homely as she can make it for you. she is very helpful in all ways she gives you suggestions with things to do in the area her favourite restaurants shooping etc. I love this lil place of hers is literally a stone throw from beach, surf club, walks, shopping, and night life. her prices are always fare, the place is clean cosy has washer and dryer is puppy friendly is all you need for a relaxing affordable stay in the heart of Broadbeach.. thanks for having Mouse(puppy) and I again Qain we appreciate you so much and will definitely e back. Also the balcony affords a spectacular sunrise further enhancing the sense of wonder and tranquility that defines this remarkable getaway. Probably the best place to stay on Mt Tamborine!

Our favourite Airbnb to date! Even better than the pictures and we couldn’t ask for a better location. Upon arrival, the house was very clean and had no trace of dog smells despite being pet friendly. Elisha is a great host, providing clear instructions and helpful information. There are plenty of cafes and shops within 5-10mins drive but we hardly left the house due to the beautiful surroundings and variety of activities to enjoy by/in the water. This was in addition to a well stocked kitchen and quite a few thoughtful & practical supplies. Would love to come back and stay longer. Highly recommend!
