Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Vänern

We spent 5 days in Kenneth and Malene’s house, we were 2 families with 2 kids 2yo. They live on the upper floor and were very welcoming and helpful in giving us several information. Check in, check out and comminication were great, Fast and easy. We had a bit of bad luck with weather, but we were able to enjoy the barbecue and jacuzzi, which are definetly a plus. The house is very well organized with all the necessary kitchen tools and room enough for all us, especially the living room where our kids played most of the time. Malene was so kind to give our kids lots and lots of toys they played with. would have been Perfect to have a second bathroom as we struggled a bit with the kids, but we were aware of that. The location is good, the sea is just in front of the house and we also had the possibilities to use their kayak, but we did not cause of weather. It is a good starting point to visit all the west coast. In the end we had a very nice and relaxing stay. Thanks a lot and see you

Jonny und seine Frau sind außergewöhnlich gastfreundlich, man fühlt sich direkt wie zuhause! Die Unterkunft ist klein und eignet sich gut für einen Urlaub zu zweit oder mit einer kleinen Familie. Die drei Betten befinden sich alle in einem Raum. Es gibt alles, was man braucht, und zur Sommerzeit haben die beiden uns sogar Obst und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten geschenkt :) Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, das Haus liegt direkt am Vänern und um das Haus herum ist Wald. Mit Glück kann man auch einen Elch sehen… viele Wanderwege sind innerhalb von ca 30-45 min Fahrt zu erreichen, außerdem verleiht Jonny sein SUP und Fahrräder. Es war eine zauberhafte Zeit und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Vi trivdes otroligt bra, kommer definitivt att boka Ivans boende igen. Vacker lägenhet finns bara bra att säga.

A gem in göteborg! Jesper’s place is truly his own — doesn’t feel commercial or gimmicky in any way, very cozy and homely right by the big park and flea market, and easy to get to the trams nearby friendly enough to provide some streaming logins and a well serviced kitchen!

Wir haben bei Andreas zwei Nächte als Zwischenstopp verbracht. Unser Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Er hat uns bei der Anreise sehr nett persönlich begrüßt und das Apartment gezeigt. Es war alles wie im Inserat beschrieben, sehr schön eingerichtet und blitzsauber. Die Bettwäsche war sehr angenehm und roch sehr frisch. Vielen Dank dafür!! Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen, ein kleines sehr schönes Appartement.

Verblijf op hoogte! Wat een uitzicht! Zeer comfortabel bed en mooie keuken en badkamer. Communicatie was altijd supersnel en daar waar even vraag was , kwam een duidelijk helpend antwoord.

Super trevlig vistelse rekommenderar verkligen!!

Vi hade en toppenbra vistelse och kände oss välkomna från start till slut, Bronius och Erik är fantastiska värdar, fem stjärnor plus att de härliga och gosiga katterna var en riktig bonus. Vi blev bortskämda med riktiga lyx-frukostar varje morgon, hembakt bröd, våfflor och magiskt gott kaffe. Det var enkelt att ta sig till och från de centralare delarna av staden, spårvagnarna stannar praktiskt taget utanför porten. Jag hoppas verkligen att vi får möjlighet att hyra rummet nästa gång vi besöker Göteborg.

Beautiful apartment with a Great central location. Bed was super comfortable and it was very nice with a sunny balcony. Walking distance to restos and the beach. Julius was friendly, helpful and responsive. I would love to stay here next time I come to Jönköping.

The host responded quickly to my messages and was very helpful. I was on a business trip, so I didn’t get to enjoy the surroundings much, but I had a good night’s sleep.

Spacious, bright, comfortable. Felt like you land a home from your old friend with personal items, pictures…Will definitely come back!

Jag hade turen att hyra en lägenhet av Caroline, och det var verkligen en toppenupplevelse. Caroline är så himla trevlig och positiv, och hon var alltid hjälpsam om det var något jag behövde eller undrade över. Hennes värme och välkomnande sätt gjorde verkligen stor skillnad. Lägenheten hade en fantastisk utsikt, och de två fina katterna som bor där gjorde allting ännu mysigare och mer hemtrevligt. Jag hoppas verkligen att jag kan komma tillbaka och hyra av Caroline igen när jag fortsätter min utbildning 2025-2026. Det vore jättekul att bo hos henne igen!

Jonas’ place was a bit of respite for us during Easter weekend. We just spent a whirlwind week in Copenhagen and had a busy week ahead in Oslo. We felt relaxed and comfortable in his stylish yet practical home. We enjoyed our coffee at the big kitchen table while our kids ate breakfast and in the evening, grabbed a beer and sat amongst the warm glow of the apartment’s well situated low level lighting. The closest supermarket is a 5 minute walk away and the tram into Gothenburg is maybe a 7 minute walk. There is a green space in the courtyard containing a sand pit, swing set and a couple cats, chillin’ in the sunshine. Good times!

Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit auf Dyrön und Idas Wohnung war die perfekte Unterkunft dafür. Sehr zentral im Ort gelegen, nur ein paar Minuten von der Fähre im Nordhafen entfernt. Der Wanderweg zum Dyröleden beginnt direkt hinter dem Haus und auch sonst ist auf der Insel alles schnell zu erreichen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und ordentlich, die Küche gut ausgestattet, die Betten gemütlich. Und die Kommunikation mit Ida hat bestens funktioniert. Wir können Urlaub hier wärmstens empfehlen und planen selbst, nächstes Jahr wiederzukommen!

Uns hat es im Haus von Katarina wirklich von Anfang an gut gefallen. Alles war wie beschrieben und wir haben es genossen, Zeit in dem gemütlichen Wohnzimmer und Garten zu verbringen. Wir hatten wirklich schöne 2 Wochen. Durch die Empfehlungen von Katarina haben wir schöne Ausflüge in der Umgebung machen können und der angrenzende Wald war super um mit unseren Hunden spazieren zu gehen. Praktisch an der Lage ist auch der im Ort gelegene, gut ausgestattete Supermarkt. Katarina hat in ihrem Haus neue Holzböden verlegen lassen, um die sie (was wir verstehen konnten) recht besorgt war. Hier sollten andere Hundebesitzer wissen, dass man schon vorsichtig damit umgehen sollte und die Hunde nicht zu wild sein dürfen.

We have had a lovely time at Marie’s place! The house is exactly as described but in reality it feels and looks even better! We felt at home the minute we stepped inside. There’s everything you need for a comfortable stay, a perfect place for kids, and overall it is a well decorated and well organised place. Long walks in beautiful nature start right at the doorway. 15 min drive to Liseberg or city centre, half an hour to the ferry to explore the Gothenburg archipelago. 5 min drive to a big supermarket & shopping centre. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would love to come back again!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Wer Ruhe,Einsamkeit und Natur sucht, ist in dieser Unterkunft richtig! Vorne der See, hinten ein Waldgebiet. Matilda war immer erreichbar und hat unsere Fragen zu jeder Zeit freundlich beantwortet. Wir würden gern einmal wieder kommen.

Huset ligger väldigt fint och fridfullt med mycket grönska runt omkring, en fin trädgård och en mysig terrass. Själva huset är också väldigt fint och lyxigt att sängkläder och handdukar ingår. Också lyxigt att ha ett eget litet gym på tomten. Fina omgivningar med nära till sjöar och promenadstigar. Snabbt att ta sig in till Göteborg med bil. Alltså perfekt om man vill ha nära till stan men samtidigt njuta av lugnet och naturen.

Dziękujemy Helenie za udostępnienie nam swojego domu. Dom w pełni wyposażony, ponad 100 metrowy. Wykończenie nowoczesne i bardzo zadbane, w cichej i bardzo ładnej okolicy. Polecamy!!!

We spent a wonderful weekend at this beautiful house and have only positive things to say. Steeped in history, the house exudes a deep connection to the area and its local industries. Edita and Per-Erik have done a fantastic job blending old-world aristocratic charm with modern, stylish touches. Set on the banks of the Klarälven River, the scenery is truly breathtaking. The old NKIJ railway bridge adds to the view, spanning the river like a graceful rainbow of steel. For anyone interested in economic history, this place is a hidden gem! Edita and Per-Erik are exceptional hosts — communication was clear and prompt from start to finish. Great amenities and family friendly activities also added to the superb experiences. We will definitely return in the future!

This really felt like home, with lots of space. It was modern, beautiful and clean. A perfect base for exploring Karlstad and Varmland. Fabulous hosts, Carina and Ole were generous and kind.
