Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Vancouver

As described by Jamie and by other reviews. Lovely place to stay. having the back deck area, view to sea was lovely. well appointed 1 bdrm. Bedrm v quiet and bed v comfortable. Loved that linens and more covers easily at hand. Loved that there was milk in fridge for coffee( we ran late and couldnt stop at store). We did not hear any noise from above we did hear the shipyard activity, but like one of the reviews said, was background white noise. is a good long walk to Sea bus. we drove, left our car there. was terrific to stay in N Vanc and ‘commute’ to Vcr. super easy. Staying in N Vcr made it easier to drive to Horseshoe Bay after our stay and catch a ferry to Sunshine Coast. did not have to deal w any traffic. all in all a great stay. Might have preferred staying closer to sea bus terminal, away from shipyards, but loved the ambience os the back yard and that it was a 1 bedroom not studio. also had a huge beautiful green hedge in front. love the greenery

Betty’s place was much nicer than the pictures - bigger, all the services & even sufficient coffee & tea for our breakfast. Around the corner is one major Canadian grocery store chains which was convenient for snacks. Great bus service was available beside the grocery store and Betty’s recommendations for restaurants was very appreciated. Also the walking trails throughout Vancouver (many along the old railway line) was a welcome surprise.

Normandy and Betty were remarkable hosts. Extremely responsive and polite. I enjoyed the space. The area is also a great location.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The views were absolutely stunning from every window. The interior was sparkling clean and so thoughtfully designed. The location was perfect, just minutes from Birch Bay State Park for peaceful beach walks. We saw so many great blue herons and bald eagles! Marie was such kind host and always very responsive. Truly such a luxurious experience.

Her place was cute, comfortable, and has many extra amenities. The neighborhood is quiet. Her kitchen is well stocked as well as her bathrooms. Very clean and bright . Easy for Uber to get into. Would stay here again if I ever come back. Thank you Rachel!

The house is very comfortable and just as beautiful as the photos. The location is incredible - amazing views of the water, mountains, and big ships passing. It was so lovely to be able to just walk across the street and be on the beach with long walks possible in either direction. It was also really convenient for groceries and restaurants along 4th Ave, and an easy 15 minute drive to downtown and Stanley Island. We loved Vancouver and our stay in this beautiful home!

My wife and I planned to use public transit exclusively during our two-day trip to visit Vancouver. Maria's Airbnb is just four blocks from bus and skytrain stations in a beautiful residential area. Access to the converted basement is along a narrow sidewalk leading to a small backyard and a sunken entrance. Inside, we found a well-designed rustic apartment with many modern amenities. We especially liked the many handmade items, including wall shelves, bedroom furniture, a polished kitchen countertop, and other decorative accents. The walk-in shower is beautifully tiled and has a rainfall showerhead, wand, and jets. Maria responded promptly to all inquiries and offered helpful information on nearby restaurants and places to go. We were initially hesitant to book because the listing states a family with small children lives upstairs, but we never heard a sound. A peaceful and comfortable space for one or two persons. We would certainly book this listing again. Thank you, Maria!

A charming, clean, bright, and well-equipped space in Mount Pleasant right outside downtown Vancouver. Our host, Ilkka, was very welcoming, and communication with him was easy. The neighborhood—with its tree-lined streets and flower gardens—was quiet and felt very safe. People of all ages were out walking their dogs and enjoying the nice weather. In addition to the very, very comfortable beds and linens, one of the most enjoyable features of Ilkka’s home was the proximity to shops, restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores. We drove to Stanley Gardens one day, but we didn’t have to get in our car to eat fantastic meals or do the shopping. We would certainly stay here again!

Mark’s place was in a fantastic location - close to coffee shops and a variety of restaurants that are in walking distance. The house was spotless and as described. Parking spot available if requested and not being used. Instructions for entry and the stay were clear and reasonable. Home and the surrounding neighborhood had charm. Could not have asked for a better location. Wish most hosts were like Mark. Thanks so much for a great stay!

We feel fortunate to have been able to stay in this North Van apartment. The space is roomy and comfortable and the house manual had some handy recommendations. Also, there is great coffee downstairs. The location is in a super nice neighbourhood community with Lonsdale St within easy walking distance. The host Brad is a very helpful and interesting guy. Highly recommended.

Cory is a wonderful host. His place and his hospitality were among the best we’ve encountered in Vancouver. Instructions were very clear for checkin making the experience easy. Cory was so generous with his space allowing us to feel very much at home. We’d love to return to stay at Cory’s listing in the future!

Perfect location in the heart of the city. Lots to see and do within walking distance. Great hosts - quick to respond, flexible check in and they gave us suggestions on things to see and do. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Would stay here again.

My wife and I were in Vancouver for a conference and stayed at Linda’s place for five days. It was a fantastic experience — the space was cozy and felt just like home. Linda was a proactive and thoughtful host, even upgrading the recliners during our stay, which we really appreciated. The neighborhood is charming and peaceful, yet conveniently close to downtown. We’d gladly stay here again in the future.

Enjoyable stay at Krystal’s! Beautiful, modern space with everything you need and more. We arrived in the early morning hours and really appreciated the basket of snacks left on the counter for us. My young family and I stayed at Patrick's suite for 3 nights. It was a fantastic location, very close to playgrounds, the beach, excellent running trails and Kitsilano. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked (thank you for the welcome basket!) and it was very clean. Patrick was a lovely host and it was great to meet him in person. My children loved playing in the backyard and jumping on the trampoline. We would happily stay here again on our next trip to Vancouver!

Great location, within walking distance to tons of restaurants on Main Street and to Riley Park (multiple playgrounds), Nat Bailey Stadium and Hillcrest Aquatic Centre (swimming pool is under maintenance until end of June 2025). Space was clean, bed was comfortable. There was a Pack n Play available. Anthony and Leatt are great hosts, very responsive and go above and beyond to help. Leatt provided a list of kid-friendly restaurants to visit while we are in town. I was also offered allergy medication after they learned that I was having severe allergy symptoms.

Nelson’s place was fantastic! He goes above and beyond to make sure your check in is an easy one. I didn’t realize the location where you picked up the key was a distance away, but if you packed light you’ll be fine (9 minute walk). Thankfully the taxi waited for us and took us straight to his place. The views of the city are amazing and the location cannot be beat. I really hope I find myself back in Vancouver again so I can book his condo.

Great base for exploring downtown Vancouver. Kitchen has everything you need and convenient to have laundry available when travelling. Elise is a kind and approachable host.

A beautiful suite in a very nice area of Vancouver. The suite is tastefully decorated and includes many amenities. Mark was very helpful and friendly.

A fabulous position to enjoy downtown Vancouver for a few days, exactly what was needed. There was no stress. I definitely appreciated the flexibility shown by Andre when I arrived very early. Communication was exemplary.

This is a lovely property with its own character & personality. Great amenities & great shower, the outside patio is sun-drenched. The apartment is close to the beach, shops bars & restaurants. Well served with local transport to downtown.Brendan is a great host, professional helpful & responsive. Great place to stay & a great host. Very highly recommended.

The apartment is spot on, walking distance of downtown Vancouver and many good restaurants. Very chic and clean. Kwan was always a text away to help with anything. 100% would recommend to stay here!
