Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Van Buren County

We had a lovely time at the cottage.  It was clean, and stocked from the bathroom to the kitchen.  The open floor plan was comfortable and beautifully decorated.  The host was communicative, flexible, and kind.  Our family enjoyed the hot tub, swimming in the lake, and great fishing off of the dock.   When we wanted to venture out, we had amazing bbq at Collin’s River Cafe, enjoyed ice cream and a Weenie Panini at Rock Island Trolley Stop, and took a pontoon boat tour of the most beautiful waterfalls!  A perfect getaway, we hope to return to soon!

We loved our stay in Rock Island, TN. The home was absolutely beautiful with adorable decorations and modern furniture. The kitchen was huge with everything we needed, and each bedroom has its own bathroom (perfect for traveling with teens/young adults). There were plenty of board games upstairs that kept the young ones busy, and the rocking chairs on the front porch was a perfect place to have your morning coffee. The grounds offered a beautiful view with a relaxing environment. Elizabeth provided a binder with things to do and many local restaurant suggestions. It is clear that she took a lot of time to prepare guests for a great stay. Rock Island State Park, Cumberland Caverns, and Burgess Falls are all close, and make the trip to McMinville for Collins River BBQ to see the cute downtown area. Make the trip now, because it looks like this area is going to continue to build new homes. Elizabeth was very relaonvile and extremely helpful. We appreciated the hosts’ help and info a ton!

Nice location in the country about 30 minutes from Fall Creek Falls State Park. Loved the hardwood floors, comfy couch, very comfortable bed and enjoyed the sitting area overlooking the front yard. Game night for both evenings making use of the oversized coffee table. Shady backyard that our dog could enjoy. We were able to pick ripe black raspberries(THANK YOU 😉). Kitchen has a nice long counter with coffee pot & hot water heater on one side of sink and micro & toaster oven on other end. Appreciated the nice dishes. Kitchen is a little tight for the table, table did work for three adults. Gas grill is convenient out the back garage door. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

This rental was perfect for our weekend getaway. We wanted to take advantage of state parks in the area and this home was central to those and perfectly located! The hot tub was perfect after hiking. The home was beautiful and had such intentional details in the decor and construction. Sitting on the back covered porch drinking coffee in the morning was nice … loved hearing the birds and seeing the deer. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We did not get to take advantage of the nice covered patio, swing and grill … that is a lovely addition to an outdoor space. We would definitely return and stay here again in the future!

The house was very neat, and the kitchen was well stocked with pans, basic spices and dinnerware. We really enjoyed relaxing on the front porch and soaking in the hot tub. It is very close to Falls creek falls, where we enjoyed golfing, hiking and seeing the waterfalls. And the bedroom mattresses were wonderful, probably the best bed we have had when renting a place.

This place was so great! The location was beautiful and was close to so many wonderful outsdoor sites. The home was very cosy, and the hosts were super nice. I would absolutely love to stay here again in the future.

Vicky was such an amazing host. The location is exactly as described in the listing. A coworker and I were there to work Bonnaroo. Vicky offered to cook supper for us one night and even washed some work clothing for us. We had the perfect amount of space and everything was decorated so pretty. The countryside around Vickys place is also beautiful. Don't hesitate to book!!!

We love staying in the Barren Rest! The property is gorgeous, the bed is comfortable, and it was lovely having a kitchen to cook and eat together. We look forward to coming back!

Had a grwat time staying, Mary was great and very responsive to any questions. Will definitely be staying again next time I am in the area.

This was hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Becky was very attentive & her & Russell are so friendly. They took such great care of us. We recommend them to anyone. This place was worth every penny and we couldn’t be happier to now know Becky & Russell. Anytime we are in the area we will be staying here 100%

I enjoyed my stay at this Airbnb. If I had any questioned the host was responsive in a timely manner. It was clean and smelt good. The driveway isn’t the most friendliest to bigger vehicles (I was driving a Ford Expedition) and accidentally ran into the ditch by turning right a second too early. Besides that my friends and I enjoyed it a lot and was SUPER affordable for the weekend we were going.

It was so cute and comfy we definitely will be back . They have everything you need . Very friendly and respectful and responsive. If ur looking for a quiet comfy place this is it . It very clean

Location, location, location! Perfect location to stay for a show at the caverns. The place was neat, clean, had a big comfy king sized bed. We would definetly stay here again!
