Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Van Buren County

I loved the house, we had plenty of room for family and friends. I will definitely be back.

Sarah’s place was very clean and extremely well equipped in every aspect, kitchen, bathroom supplies, outdoor etc. So many amenities, we felt like we were still home . The basement was such a great addition for kids and adults to play ping pong, air hockey, arts and crafts. Kids can spend hours down there. Backyard is fenced and although it backs to I-196, we were not bothered. I cannot imagine how beautiful it is once the trees are green. If you have kids and want to get away from the city with minimal planning of all the things to bring, this is the place. There is a beach nearby, 3 min drive, cannot wait to come back during summer months. Sarah, thank you for your gracious hospitality.

The crew was very happy with their stay. Bob is great to work with and was very helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

My husband, mother and I spent the weekend at Tom’s place with our eight week old daughter. It was her first road trip and Tom’s place was perfect! It’s in a great location, very clean and has all the necessary amenities. Tom even took out some kids books for us which was very sweet! Overall, we would highly recommend Tom’s place and are looking forward to returning soon!

This place was so nice. Lovely area located walking distance from beautiful lake. The home was so cozy and spacious. Provided everything you needed including entertainment. Much more than expected. Will stay here again.

I am so lucky we found this amazing place for our entire family to stay for my daughter’s wedding in South Haven. It was perfect for us. Far enough away from town to be peaceful and relaxing, but close enough to get there fast (and run back if forth when we forget things repeatedly). Everything we needed was there and the place is beautiful and super clean. There’s something there for everyone… hot tub, games, televisions in multiple rooms, fire pit, everything. And plenty of room not to feel like you’re sharing space with as many people as you are! Highly recommend!

This place gets straight A's. The surroundings are beautiful. I can't imagine a more peaceful place! The gorgeous lakefront is just a few minutes walk away. The home itself is spacious and well-stocked. Enjoyed the porch swing in front and the screened in porch in back. Will be back!

We had a great time staying at Thomas and Cynthia's! The home was very clean with amazing amenities from fluffy, comfortable beds, beautiful in-outdoor surroundings, to a top notch kitchen, and a shower that is out of this world..although it took me a minute to figure it out but once I did, very enjoyable! Also, very close to a quiet, beautiful beach where we enjoyed searching for sea glass and stones, soaking up some sun, and we savored spectacular sunsets. We ventured to downtown South Haven and St. Joseph where we enjoyed shopping and a wine tasting at a quaint yet quirky Lazy Ballerina Winery complete with tutu lined chairs and my fave Pink Tutu wine, delicious! Sigh...we hated leaving but we will be back, hopefully, soon. Thank you Thomas and Cynthia for making our stay a precious memory, you're the best!

Had an awesome stay, the Airbnb itself is very nice and the woods on the property are beautiful. Jennifer was insanely kind and helpful and offered every amenity you could think of, can't wait to stay at this one again.

I just love Eagle Lake, it's so beautiful and peaceful out there. The cottage offers a stunning view of the lake from its deck. Stephaney has kayaks and paddle boats available while you are staying there. Keeps the kids entertained for sure. Will definitely stay there again!!

Loved the uniqueness of this property, which was both charming and comfortable. Beautiful grounds, great location that was walkable to shops, beach, lighthouse, eateries, etc. Would gladly stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! South Haven was a fun little town to visit with beaches, coffee shops, ice cream, and breweries. All of which are walkable! We had everything we needed at Benny's on Broadway! The hosts did a fantastic job providing all the little things you could need! All their directions were easy to follow and clear. A helpful tip for anyone traveling with kids or individuals/couples that sleep separately in the living room/bedroom, the floors are 'creaky'. In an open living space, it makes it a bit tough to move around or do much when others are sleeping. We traveled with 2 kids and we made it work! But we recommend bringing an extra noise machine or at least accounting for it. (the hosts provide one in the bedroom for you) Overall, we loved it and wouldn't change anything about our trip or visit! It was an awesome little Airbnb!

We love South Haven and love staying at this place. It is a quick walk to downtown. The bed was comfortable as well.

We had a great stay here! Beautiful view of the lake and overlooked the pool. Short walk to a very private feeling beach with gorgeous sunsets. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Extra little amenities added a nice touch. Super comfy king bed. Quiet and peaceful area. Excellent communication and very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Not only was the place peaceful and serene it was clean and perfect. She allows you in to her barn to visit with the horses. the little dogs were great. 1 of the young ladies gave me hay to feed 1 of the horses. the sunset last night was beautiful. A great way to celebrate 20 years of marriage.

Very lovely and relaxing place to stay for a few days! Next to a beautiful lake and not far from a few small towns. South Haven beach and the nearest bigger towns are about 20-30 minute drive through some beautiful countryside scenery. The room is the perfect size for two people, and was clean and quiet. Highly recommend staying here!

This was our first glamping experience and it was absolutely amazing! The cabin was adorable and so accommodating! My children loved it!! We couldn’t be more happy and excited to stay there as soon as we can!! The cabin, the community, the communication with everyone was prompt, defined, and very accommodating! We are so blessed to have you open up your cabin! Thank you so much to everyone for the excellent service and perfect experience! It was beyond our expectations and so grateful!!We will be back!! We had a great stay for a long weekend. We wanted a location that was close to a beach, not far from St. Joe, and was quiet and surrounded by nature and we got exactly what we wanted! Everything was thought through very well and very convenient (lots of hooks, all kinds of kitchen appliances, etc.). We had a great time barbecuing and enjoyed the local spots. Definitely a place I would book again!

Our stay at Jason’s cabin was a 4/5 experience. While the cabin had potential, several issues impacted our visit. The biggest problem was the misleading description: we assumed each cabin was private based on the photos, but the fine print revealed it’s actually a shared community space. We spoke with other guests, and they had the same confusion. One cabin was told the sauna was private, while others were given shared-use instructions, which felt inconsistent. The hot tub area had a red ant infestation, and I ended up with several bites. Additionally, the property has multiple hosts, leading to unclear communication. One of the other occupants even shared pictures showing how unclean their cabin was, which raised concerns about cleanliness across the property. In our cabin, the floor was coming apart, which was disappointing. Knowing all this now, I’d consider staying again if I were more inclined to being social and sharing space with others. However it wasn’t quite what I expected

We had such an amazing stay on Jim's property. The lake, easy to get to in a short walk, was very serene with a ton of activities to do. We pedal- and paddle-boarded and also used the aqua-cycle! We also sat around the firepit and saw a ton of shooting stars. The bikes were also great, and it wasn't a far drive from South Haven where we went to the farmer's market and would have gone to the beach if it were warmer. Although there were two RVs with people also on the front of the property, it still felt pretty private and everyone kept to themselves. The most interaction with other people was walking on the boardwalk to the lake and hanging out on the dock. Such a fun weekend!

Peaceful log cabin in the heart of south haven. Irene and Mark were always very prompt at responding. They have a beautiful log cabin that felt remote and perfect for pups to walk off leash. We felt completely disconnected and this bnb was a peaceful slice of heaven. If you’re looking for a glamping spot with your fur babies this is perfect. Recommend downloading a few campy audio theatres ( no cell reception or wifi which was ideal for us). There are some really fun restaurants 10 mins into town so definitely recommend checking those out as well. We had a great time and hope to be back soon!
