Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. We had an amazing stay at Roxanne Villa! The space was perfect, with plenty of room for everyone, and all appliances worked great. The day before our arrival, there was a sandstorm, but the host went above and beyond—he cleaned the pool that morning and even returned the next day before we woke up to make sure it was spotless for a refreshing swim. Hospitality was excellent. The house was cleaned every three days, and any issues were quickly addressed. On arrival, the fridge was stocked with fresh fruit and snacks, which was a thoughtful touch. A small minimarket is just a 3-minute walk away, ideal for the first day. For more variety, we recommend taking the bus to the larger supermarkets, but note that buses often leave 15–20 minutes earlier than scheduled. There are good bus connections to the city and beach, and taxis to clubs were affordable. Overall, a fantastic and well-organized stay! Thank you George!

Niko's residence was beautiful, extremely clean, secure, and private. It showed as listed. Niko was very hospitable, prompt, and responsive with any communications that we had. He contacted us before our arrival and offered to arrange transportation to his residence, and he allowed us early check in. We had an ant intrusion and a house fuse go out ( I don't know if it was because we had 5 guests) causing a power outage. Niko was extremely apologetic and paid for a meal and drinks during the outage even though we resisted the offer. He and his team came out and remedied the situation. On a day that we didn't feel like leaving the residence, we spent the day in the wonderful pool. His place was also walking distance to the town. All of our needs were met. Thank you Nikos.

An absolute gem, we had an amazing stay at Maria's place. The house is absolutely beautiful, modern with quality all around. It's also super private with nothing but nature around you. Will definitely be coming back!!

Absolutely incredible stay at the villa very opulent from the minute the gate opens . So spacious,5 of us stayed for 1 week and the villa was just perfect. we spent a week in this villa. it is perfectly equipped, clean, modern. the heated and large pool is very pleasant. it is 10 minutes from kissamos. The host was very helpful and responsive from the beginning to the end of the stay.

We cannot have asked for a better place to stay in Chania. The house is a gorgeous villa perfect for a large family vacation. The location is on a breathtaking hill overlooking the city and old Harbor. There are tons of windows letting in natural light. You can be an old town in eight minutes by car or about 45 minutes walking. There are plenty of local mini markets and restaurants nearby. Michalis was a model host, and gave us plenty of recommendations for day trips, restaurants, treats, activities, and gave us very kind gifts throughout our stay. If we ever return to Crete, we will be staying here again!

We had a great stay - the villa was exactly as described - having a pool attached to our glorious terrace - made our stay so much more enjoyable. The layout of the villa is perfect - large bedrooms and great bathrooms - all the facilities just perfect. It was a nice touch having the villa topped and tailed whilst we stayed - fresh bedding and towels supplied. There are some wonderful beaches within walking distance - with food and drink available - so you can spend the whole day on the beach and also some a short drive away with a much more of a Beach Club vibe going on. The harbour and the Old Town have great places to eat and much to see and do - a trip to some of the restaurants in the hillsides is a must do.

This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

A lovely villa - looked exactly like the photos. We were a family of 8 adults and 2 small children and there was room for all of us. Kitchen was big enough with every utensil (and more) you could think of. Our host was there to greet us and was always responsive when needed ( 2 small issues both quickly resolved). A lovely welcome basket of food/drink etc was a nice touch. I would not say a car is essential - its less than 10 mins walk to several lovely restaurants and a nice little beach. However the nearest proper supermarket is 30-40 mins walk although its only a 10 euro taxi back and youll save more than that as the local shop (2 mins down the hill) is only really any good for fresh bread and emergency supplies! The outside/pool area in villa was roomy and the inside hot tub/sauna were well used. My only advice would be to have some sun loungers on the terrace outside main bedroom as that did seem wasted space although lovely views of the mountains and the sea. We would stay again.

This is a 10/10 Villa. We have travelled a lot and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. We were a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children aged 2, 4, 9 and 11). The views are stunning, the pool is big, all the rooms have private bathroom. Jacuzzi is also perfect for when the sun goes down! Theo was a wonderful host helping us, giving good recommendations and suprising as with some nice gestures. This Villa really is a Gem as the name suggests. As for the surroundings - it is 100% private! For me the best part was that there is a nice local village to walk to every night. There are some amazing Tavernas/Restaurants with delicious food and reasonable prices (also a mini-market). There is also a nice beach with a good restaurant and a nice cozy beach bar - it is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. And if you rent a car then it is a 10 minute ride to the Rethymnon old town, which is also a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants. The Villa was worth every euro!

Georgios is one of the best host I have encountered. The villa is amazing and there is not enough lines here to express a recommendation. High quality and relaxing place is the most descriptive. Thank you again to Georgios for his welcome and flexibility.

We loved the home and recommend it to families that want a nice pool and a great parking. We drove around doing day trips and coming home to this Airbnb was always wonderful. Great bedrooms, showers were nice, and the kids loved the pool. Highly highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful Villa, super modern and brand new. 5-10 minutes walk to bars, restaurants and beach. Giorgos the host was extremely helpful, and quick to respond. Villa was cleaned twice whilst we were there which we didn’t expect. Will definitely return! Thank you!

The villa was pretty extraordinary overall. We've stayed in villas on a number of Greek islands over the last 12 years and this was the best on most counts. The interior was comfortable and spacious, really light and airy. There were only two of us, but I doubt it would be crowded with 6. A huge amount of kitchen equipment (you name it, the kitchen had it), all appliances seemed nearly new and of great quality. Showers with good supplies of hot water and strong pressure. The outside is fantastic - the pool is huge and the perfect depth throughout (maybe not ok for young children, with no shallow end). Plenty of comfortable seats and sun loungers, umbrellas for shade. The jacuzzi is a great bonus and is really high quality. Huge grounds and some lovely flowers. All windows have shutters so bedrooms could be made very dark overnight. We weren't interrupted at all through the week but whenever we had a question we received a rapid response. I can't think of anything negative to say!

Loved our stay in this remote villa. Amazing views with sunsets from the pool. Beds were very comfortable with quality linens and towels. Nice having the pool heated! House is remote so bring all the food needed. Rather close to Elifonisi beach which was well worth the 20 minute drive. Driving is not for the faint of heart of heart. Many tavernas in the area within 15 minutes drive. Would stay again. Thank you Theoni!

We had a lovely week at Anna’s place. It was our first family holiday and a great place to enjoy some time together. The space is modern, clean and light. The outside areas are spacious and although the pools were a little chilly (we visited in October), we spent lots of time outside. The roof terrace has wonderful views. The villa is walking distance to lovely restaurants with sea views, a park with children’s play area, beaches and supermarkets - we didn’t need a car at all! Anna went above and beyond to help us during our stay!

We felt right at home. The incredibly lovely owners and helpers of the house have contributed to this, in combination with this great place to stay. We were overwhelmed by the island and the people from the first minute. I highly recommend getting to know this country and its people. You'll love it. Many thanks for everything! Discovering Crete for the first time and being able to relax in this villa is something truly exceptional. The panoramic view is breathtaking! We had a wonderful stay at The Villa Oasis in Galatas. The peaceful setting among olive groves with mountain views was the perfect escape just outside Chania. The hosts, Giorgos and Stelios, were incredibly kind and always responsive — even during an unexpected storm, they made sure to start the clean up of the outdoor space quickly so we could enjoy the space again. We arrived to a generous welcome of homemade spinach pie, chocolate cake, fruit and even some raki. The house was friendly and equipped for us to easily cook simple meals and we loved barbecuing outdoors and relaxing by the pool. They provided great recommendations both nearby and around the island as this was a great jumping off point for all our activities. A perfect spot for a quiet family getaway that’s still close to everything!

We had a very comfortable stay at the apartment. The views were absolutely stunning and truly one of the best parts of the stay. The flat was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a large, functional kitchen and very comfortable beds, which made it easy to relax and feel at home. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay — they replied quickly to messages, provided great local recommendations, and even replaced some chipped pans right away when we brought it up, which we really appreciated. While we enjoyed our stay overall, it’s worth noting that the apartment is a bit more dated than it appears in the photos. It could also benefit from a more thorough cleaning in certain areas — for example, the dishwasher filter needed attention, a few shower heads were clogged, and the window nets and grooves could use a deeper clean. That said, the comfort, views, and responsive hosts made for a great experience, and with a little extra maintenance
