The house is very nice with a great lake view. Spacious and clean, with a beautiful garden and pool. Location is very quiet and you need to drive to the more touristy places in Como but we definitely liked that!

We had a great time at Ivana's place. The house is very charming, impeccably clean in a splendid setting, offering an absolutely magnificent view! If you are looking for a change of scenery, calm and green nature, you are in the right place! Ivana is a very caring, generous and friendly host who made our stay memorable. Enricos Rustico is very tastefully decorated and in the household you will find everything you need. Very easy to reach by public transport, so we could do super nice hikes all over the valley. Now in May, we hardly met any other hikers. There are two restaurants in the village, but no shop, so bring food if you want to spend some time in this archaic world without crowds or otherwise eat in the beautifully located restaurants. We are very pleased to have found such quiet places in Switzerland. Thanks to Enrico!

We had a wonderful stay at this place! The place is very nice and well equipped so nothing is missing. We were particularly impressed by the quiet location, which offers a perfect retreat. The view of the lake is simply fantastic and creates a relaxed atmosphere. The first coffee in the morning will be such a special experience. The communication with Jacqueline was excellent – the clear instructions left no questions unanswered. In addition, the brochures with activities provided were a great addition to exploring the surrounding area and making the most of the stay. We can definitely recommend this place.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and inviting. The water pressure and hot water were excellent, and the bed was super comfy. The views were absolutely amazing and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The location was perfect, just a short, easy drive into central Menaggio. Riccardo was an incredibly friendly and responsive host, which made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Amazing host and a breathtaking view. Too bad we couldn't use the pool due to cold windy weather but had an amazing time with family and kids. with only 10 min drive to local attractions and ferry. I would highly recommend this Michele and his property.

Beautiful surroundings and well-worth the walk into town (there’s a very easy/safe path from this property into town - just expect to get some good exercise walking back up).

Yvonne communicated with us often. Carmen met us at the house and explained everything about the house and area to us. We absolutely loved the house on 3 levels and amazing views from all 3 levels. The spa tub, sauna, and cold plunge were the icing on the cake. There is so much to do in Vitznau/Mt Rigi Spa/Ferry around the lake, and so much more. We will stay here again, soon!

Incredible views. Highly recommend renting a scooter to make commute up and down the hill much easier. 10/10 would stay here again.

Great location, breath-taking views. Only problem was the pool was broken and sauna not accessible which is the main reason we booked the place. Other than that, a great stay with a nice sleep.

I recommend this apartment loft! It has beautiful views of Lake Como from the small village of Perledo which is in the mountains above Varenna. The apartment was very clean and spacious for 2 people with lots of amenities. We used the spa and heated pool which was nice. Signing up for a time slot wasn’t a problem as there was lots of availability. I recommend renting a car to drive around unless you wait for the bus and ferry schedules. There isn’t anything within walking distance so have a means of transportation to get to Varenna (10 minutes down the mountain). We had the best time and Andrea was very helpful and informative. If we had any questions we got a quick response. 10/10 recommend!!

Alessandra was absolutely amazing, not only while we were there, but leading up to our stay. It felt like we made a friend in Italy. She was friendly, communicative, and helpful! The airline lost our bags and she kept checking in to see if we had an update. She truly went above and beyond! The Airbnb was so clean and welcoming! Right across the street from Lake Como! Beautiful area! Would recommend to anyone!

beautiful location. i prefer varnessa to belagio. flat is just the right size for a couple. if there's anything I want to mention is that it's in a much higher location than I expected. one would definitely need a car for more frequent visit to the town below. the host is so friendly and always available and responsive.

The accommodation is simply unique! The view with the pool is really gigantic! The accommodation was a dream, we will come back! Everything was as described and in the photos. A super large and modern bathroom.

Maya’s place was our idea of a getaway. You get to connect with the nature and get to experience a bit of the life of the locals. Maya was a super super host; we felt welcomed and right at home. We spent an extended weekend in the panoramic sound and were absolutely delighted. The accommodation is beautifully and modernly designed, with beautiful living room in the old stable and with spacious terrace that can be transformed into a conservatory (with radiant heater). The area invites you to hike. We will be happy to come back!

Very nice place surrounded by lake, restaurant, waterfalls and walking path, ideal for a peaceful vacation. The accommodation is small but contains everything you need.

A wonderful week to unwind, ski and winter hike. We always cooked dinner in the house, then read, played games or watched TV.

This place was exactly what we were looking for. It was so beautiful. Close to many activities like a ski lift for more amazing views, boat rental, hiking trails, waterfall, etc. We would recommend this place. We went during the summer. I can imagine the epic skiing during the winter. this is definitely an ideal skiing village.

Our second trip to Switzerland and this was our first stop on the trip. We were blown away with the view! This place has it all. Views out of every window, radiant heat, hiking trails galore and everything you need for comfort. The duvets were like giant, soft puffy clouds! There is a restaurant literally right outside your door and nothing else but trails to different locations. Be mindful that the gondola to get here on runs from 8:30am-5-30pm so plan accordingly or you'll have a grueling 1.5-2 hour walk from the bottom. You cannot get here by car. We loved that part! Another pro tip - The 10 minute walk from the gondola to the cottage is a gravel road. We had to drag our suitcases to and from. It's uphill back to the gondola. But none of that will matter when you see the views from the gravel path and the living room window! This place is heaven on earth. Bettina was always quick to respond and super friendly. She made everything seamless! Book it!!
