Welcome to our house with history! Recanto brings together comfort, tradition and simplicity in a perfect fusion with the mountains. It has a house with a balcony and a garden that can accommodate 2 to 4 people, overlooking a verdant landscape that makes it a harmonious and cozy space. We are located in the Peneda-Gêres National Park, 5 minutes from the center of Ponte da Barca and Arcos de Valdevez, 30 minutes from Spain, 35 minutes from Viana do Castelo and Braga, and 1 hour from Porto.

Casa do Minho

Ideally located between the town of Arcos de Valdevez (7 km) and Peneda-Gerês National Park (15 km), the accommodation enjoys a quiet setting with a private pool. You will be welcomed in an outbuilding of the main house, thus preserving your privacy while benefiting from the advice of your hosts on site (speaking Portuguese and French). Studio (T0) Private pool The studio is independent of the main house where we live. The garden is only shared between you and us.

Located near one of the entrances to the Parque Nacional Peneda-Gerês, it gives you the true rural experience with the possibility of hiking trails and visiting lagoon.

Froufe Farmhouse

The house of "Sítio de Froufe" is located in Lugar de Froufe, in the parish of S. Miguel between both rivers in the municipality of Ponte da Barca, geographically within the territory of the Peneda Gerês National Park. What is now the "Sítio de Froufe" was for many years used as a shelter for animals and storage for agricultural products.

Quinta das Tendas

Quinta das Tendas is an ideal place for a city getaway. Inserted in a surrounding environment by mountain and stream in the locality of Sil/Grade, Arcos de Valdevez. It is about 10 km from the center of the village and 12 km from the Sanctuary of Peneda. It consists of 2 houses, one main and one recovered for local accommodation.
