The Egghof is located at 1700 m above sea level. In addition to the family of six, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, cats, a dog and a couple of cute rodents live on the farm.

The apartment is located at the ground floor of the villa and enjoys its own private entrance. It is suitable for 4 people and has 2 bedrooms (one with a bunk bed which kids love!), a living room with a kitchen and a bathroom. The ceiling vault that spans over the entire unit is part of the 14th century foundation walls of the villa when it still was a paper mill and the decor of the apartment celebrates its past with exposed medieval stone walls and antique pieces of furniture.
