Serviced apartment holiday rentals in Valais

Overall a great place located in a pedestrian street and a literal stone's throw from Lake Geneva. Plenty of grocery stores (Coop, Manor, Migros), restaurants, and boutiques are within 5 min walking distance. Very relaxing at night as there's virtually no traffic around the block. The building is an older construction -- this is the historic town after all -- but the condos have been fully renovated, well-equipped, and practical to live in. If you're lucky to get a lake-facing unit, you'll certainly enjoy the view while dining or watching TV ... Be mindful that as much as the pedestrian lifestyle is fantastic, it is a challenge to find free long-term parking in the area.

The apartment is right near a ski lift and has a bus stop that leads to Visp. The apartment is extremely clean and has plenty of space. The breakfast (not included) is very rich and delicious! The hosts are very friendly and always try to make the guests have a great time. The sauna / pool can be used for a surcharge, a little too expensive for us, but certainly worthwhile after a strenuous / excursion-rich day. We can recommend the apartment, especially the price/performance ratio is great! Thanks again for the great stay!

The Matthiol serviced apartments are very nice. The apartment has modern furnishings, large fully equipped kitchen and immaculately clean. Our unit had a view of the Matterhorn too. Portier service from the Zermatt train station to the apartment was included and much appreciated. Future renters should be aware that Zermatt is a walking town and there is a bit of a hike up from the street to the apartment. We were all able bodied, so it wasn't an issue for us, but for those less able, a place on the flat section of Zermatt might be a better choice. We figured out the best way to get to the ski lifts from the apartment and we carried our ski boots and then put our shoes in a backpack while skiing. There are lockers available if you don't want to carry your walking shoes. The hot tub, steam and sauna were nice to have after skiing, but be aware that you will need to reserve your one-hour time slot by signing the sheet when you arrive. I highly recommend the Mattiol apartments!

Our stay was very comfortable, cozy and warm. Apartment is equipped with everything you may need, location is great and especially would like to express my gratitude to Anders and his speed to reply to questions - we arrived quite late in evening and Anders replied very promptly and was very supportive. I would definitely return here once I am again in Vevey. Thanks a lot!

We would like to extend a heartful appreciation to Stephan and his family. The chalet provided for an amazing vacation and allowed for long lasting experiences and memories. Great flat with fantastic view! Spa/Swimming pool is a real bonus.

I recommend staying for more than three nights. The location is ideal for staying and relaxing. There is a Coop on the ground floor. There is also an Arab restaurant for shawarma and pizza nearby. It is worth visiting and I will repeat the visit, God willing. The hotel is clean, classy and new. The bed is very comfortable. The furniture and decoration are new and classy.

Great welcome, attentive, the location is perfect (4Km from Chatel and ski slope right next to the chalet).

I had a fantastic stay at Francisco's place in Grindelwald! Francisco is a genuinely nice host who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. He even drove us to the Airbnb, which was a thoughtful touch. Wishing him all the best in his career and for his family! Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Grindelwald!
