Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Valais

A beautifully remodeled home with attractive interior design. Modern appliances and bathrooms. Views of Lake Geneva and the Swiss countryside. Arranged on four stories, so you do get your stair climbing in, but you shouldn't be visiting this part of Switzerland if you can't do a little climbing. Large bedrooms with great beds. We couldn't have been happier there. There is a very narrow driveway leading up to the parking place that requires some careful outmaneuvering if you have a big car. It's no narrower than most of the public streets in the area of the nearby vineyards. We had what in the USA would be called a medium sized SUV and we still emerged scratch free. Claudia and her husband were very friendly and responsive and even had child-safety gates installed and provided lots of toys for our 1 1/2 year old granddaughter! Highly recommended!

We spent 5 wonderful days in Simone's chalet, we enjoyed the quiet and the very peaceful environment. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the chalet. Simone is a very responsive and friendly host. We recommend this chalet which is very well located and allows you to visit several surrounding cities.

Claudia’s home is one of the nicest homes I’ve stayed at. New, clean, huge, and that view!!!! We never wanted to leave and opted for rooftop dinners almost every evening. Truly a beautiful home that our whole extended family could be comfortable in thanks to the separate floors. Claudia was so helpful in explaining how the train works and we loved stepping out the front door to ride into town each day, but escaping to quiet in the evenings. Thank you and we hope to return!

Andrine and his wife were amazing, the house does not have wash machine, but when we ask for it, the family took our clothes, they wash and dry them. Amazing place and friendly place. Hopefully another time in Switzerland we will come back here again

splendid chalet, exactly as described. thoughtfully furnished, everything you need is there and in the right place (charging cable, adapter, gratin plate for the oven, lemon squeezer,...)!

The super clean apartment offers a great combination of comfort and coziness. We were particularly impressed by the spectacular view of the Ried Glacier. The amenities leave little to be desired: from good kitchen to fast Wi-Fi for remote work to comfortable underfloor heating in the winter season. The quiet location in Niedergrächen offers plenty of relaxation, while the connection to public transport and the surrounding hiking and skiing areas is excellent. The hostess Benita was extremely friendly and helpful. We can recommend the Chalet Gletscherblick to anyone looking for a break in the mountains, and we are already looking forward to our next stay! Tips for other guests: Possibly difficult access, not barrier-free, steep, in winter possibly slippery/icy. Completely bring/buy your own consumables such as kitchen paper, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, spices, shower gel, etc. Fireplace not usable due to underfloor heating.

A well outfitted apartment with everything needed for a few days' stay. Very peaceful country setting in quiet surroundings, with goats, cows and llamas/alpacas nearby. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Upon arrival Bernhard provided ideas of things to do and places to go/avoid. There's a little rack with a number of brochures for hikes, attractions, etc. We opted to walk from/to the train station rather than take the taxi (25-30 CHF) each way. You may wish to use the taxi upon arrival if you have much baggage and/or to get a sense of direction initially. The walk does take about 25-30 minutes on a paved surface, as noted in the apartment's description, and involves some hills along the way, of course. Factor this into your daily plans. The sauna was a nice touch at the end of the day. Very easy to manage with the instructions provided upon arrival. Train schedule was very convenient with minimal waiting time throughout the day. Overall, a great stay.

Marco was very friendly and kind. The location was not too far from those two stations. It was walkable and surrounded by a beautiful nature so we could enjoy the scenery of Eiger mountain. It was a pleasant stay at Marco’s Charlet and I would recommend this place to some people who are looking for a peaceful place with a stunning view. The kitchen, the bathroom and everything was tidy. I was satisfied.

The stay was perfect for us. We felt super relaxed and comfortable. The place was very very clean and you had everything you needed. The communication with Doris was also impeccable. You can tell that Doris and Dominique have decorated and nurtured the chalet with a lot of heart. We would always come back!

The hosts are friendly, proactive and quick to answer. The chalet is just as presented, with a very pleasant terrace, a nice view on the mountains opposite and many walking possibilities close by. A very enjoyable stay!

Comfortable and well-equipped mountain chalet to rest and live a beautiful experience in nature! Difficult pathway following the storm. That being said, we'll be happy to go back and spend a few days there

We had a wonderful time in your home. First and foremost the house itself: so beautiful, soothing, tastefully furnished and very cozy. We felt right at home there and also our children played there for hours. And then that view, I can't imagine this ever getting used to. In addition, it is also a super nice region, every trip we were amazed by the beauty of the region. It was a really successful vacation! We would love to come back here again.

Beautiful, lovingly decorated, small cabin high up in the mountains. We had a wonderful time hiking and climbing with our young children. It is very quiet on the Alp when the chairlift no longer runs in the evening. Aldo was very friendly and helpful. Even when it came to organizing luggage transportation. Great to really drive down. One of the best places I have lived.. in the lap of mountains. Awesome views, Bali styled houses, calm. you feel like not to go anywhere and just spend the whole day looking the at the mountain. on of my best AirBnB experience!!

The accommodation including the surroundings is great! Sauna, Jacuzzi and outdoor kitchen are very clean and well maintained. Freely available coffee and fruit reflect the mindfulness of the host Matthias. If you have any questions or requests, a contact person will always be available on site or by text message.

We spent a week in the cabin and felt very comfortable right away. The view is very nice and it's very quiet. You can watch a lot of marmots. We have taken many varied hikes from the cabin. We would come back back. Thank you for the great hospitality!
