Holiday rentals in Valagnesi

Alessio and Beatrice were perfect hosts. The place couldn’t be in a better location, right on the north end of the Main road through San Gimignano. Having the top floor really made it peaceful despite the sometimes bustle of the town. The apartment was beautiful and comfortable; a great base for exploring San Gimignano and the surrounding Tuscan countryside!

We stayed during Easter. Alessandro was very welcoming and always ready to give us a response. He was very helpful at both check-in and checkout. The place is a motorcycle that is well maintained and as described. We were very satisfied. Definitely recommend.

We had the most amazing stay at Sibilla's apartment! It is STUNNINGLY decorated and almost makes it feel like you are staying in the Medici Chapel itself. The apartment had everything we needed, and the plant room/ sunroom was glorious to enjoy in the mornings/returning after a day's exploring. We met both Niccolo and Sibilia and both were so friendly and helpful. The area surrounding the apartment is perfect, with central Florence being a 20 minute walk away, and the restaurants/shops/wine bars of Santo Spirito being literally on your doorstep. This is the most enjoyable Air BnB we have ever stayed in, and would come back in a heartbeat! Grazie mille!!

we had 4 adults staying (May 9-12, 2025). we rented both the tower and apartment. more than enough room. this would be ideal for a larger gathering being mindful that not all of the sleeping areas are completely private (as stated in the description). the place is decorated very tastefully with lots of interesting items to look at. we also took the pasta class on the night of our arrival. we had a great time and learned a lot from our host. a cup of coffee or a bottle of wine on the top of the tower was the perfect start/end to the day. we loved staying here. we had a rental car and set off for our Tuscan adventure. Lucca, Cinque Terre, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano, Greve to name a few, were all within 2 hours drive by car. Relatively close proximity to Florence as we arrived from Rome by train and continued to Venice by train. In my opinion, if you plan on touring Tuscany you need a car to really explore. We would stay here again.

What a great winery! The location is really unique, the accommodation is in the middle of the vineyard and very quiet. Alessandro our host was very nice, gave us a warm welcome and took a lot of time to show us everything (including the wines). We were also very happy with the accommodation, which was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed.

The house itself is immaculate — spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and filled with charming touches that reflect the Tuscan countryside. The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, from the cozy linens to the spacious layout that gave us plenty of room to relax and unwind. Every corner of the home felt intentional and inviting. We especially loved waking up to the peaceful surroundings. It truly felt like a retreat. If you’re looking for an authentic, relaxing, and comfortable escape in Tuscany with a host who truly cares, Podere le Corticelle is the place. We can’t wait to return.

Property is amazing, host so friendly and helpful… Honestly we spent very little time on the property as we were exploring so much of Tuscany during our stay with the lovely location as our home base. But it was so beautiful to wake to every day and come “home” to late every evening :) During our 6 days, we explored Florence, hung out in Siena, hiked Chianti trails, visiting all over from Monteriggioni to San Gimignano to Volterra… and throughout Val d’Orcia from Montepulciano to Pienza , Pitigliano to Serano… and north to Lucca & Pisa.
