What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

We had a great time in the heart of Dordogne. The place is beautiful, overlooking the surrounding woods, the place is quiet and peaceful, if you like tranquility this place is for you. Heated pool and outdoor facilities really very good, being sick as well as my mom, we enjoyed it! The accommodation is functional and very well-equipped, the owners and Jessyca were very responsive to our questions and are present for any concern, very understanding and kind, we thank them 😊

Beautiful home in a beautiful part of the country. Very peaceful location yet less than 5 minutes drive from Brantome centre. Host was very helpful and responsive and had a whole list of recommendations for local restaurants, places to go, etc etc. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

A very nice little house, with very nice spaces and beautiful rooms. Perfect location for a long weekend in the Dordogne, 30 minutes from several beautiful sites: caves, castles, canoeing on the Dordogne or on the Vezege. Troglodytic village. Downtown near Sylvie is available and friendly. I recommend it for a small family. 😉

I booked the hamlet to celebrate my birthday surrounded by my friends and it was a great idea! The hamlet is a wonderful place where the only close neighbors are the crickets in the fields that surround the buildings. The renovation of the three houses is of high quality: beautiful materials, beautiful paintings, objects and furniture... here everything is beautiful! And without taking anything away from comfort: impeccable bedding, spacious bathrooms, super-equipped kitchens. The pool (if the weather is nice) is a real paradise and we spent beautiful afternoons there. Communication with Laure was particularly smooth and I had all the information necessary for the smooth running of the stay. Finally, we were totally at peace with my friends during this beautiful week: no neighbors nearby. In short, the hamlet of Périgord is an enchanting place to which I already plan to return! Thank you!

We had a lovely night with my partner. The accommodation is clean and the garden for our dog is a real advantage. Fanny is very welcoming, we would recommend this listing.

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

A really great find. This is a lovely, relaxed place to stay. Well equipped and maintained, without being fussy. A wonderful place to get away from it all and spend time with friends and family. Easy access to Bergerac and the surrounding area, which has some very pretty walks. The recommendations of local places to visit were very reliable too. The hosts are welcoming and helpful. We had a fantastic stay at Rigal - Jackie and Chris were the perfect hosts. We were 2 couples and 2 toddlers and both us and the boys had a fantastic time on the farm - and when the weather was misbehaving on the first couple of days, the place had loads of toys to entertain the kids. Rigal is a very beautiful place and is extremely peaceful - the only noisy neighbours are the animals on the farm! It’s an easy drive from Bergerac airport and very easy to find; it’s also out the way enough to feel secluded without being inaccessible. We’ll definitely come back and will recommend to friends and family.

Very nice accommodation in a wonderful quiet large park. The roses are fragrant and the terrace offers plenty of space to relax. You can hear the birds in the evening as well as the frogs at the pond... it was a great three days, a perfect end to the city.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Cinq Ruffe. Caroline and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was lovely and met all our needs. The location was very rural and quiet; exactly what we had hoped for. The welcome included a lovely platter of local produce and delicious wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We would not hesitate to highly recommend this property.

We absolutely loved staying at this cute, clean place. It was really nicely decorated, free of clutter, everything was new and comfy, but the best thing was the view, deck, and hot tub. Oh, and the frogs at night. Just the sweetest piece of country land to be found. The beds were amazing, linens were great. Honestly, nothing to say other than I will and would book this place again. If you're looking for a beautiful night sky, hot tub under the stars, and a great home to call home, this is it. Great host, too :)

Steve was very helpful always available to answer any questions. The place is a paradise and great walkways, views etc. His caretaker, Pascal, helped us check-in and offered to help…. Even set us up for a day of kayaking not mention and really great guy.

An amazing chance to stay in a real chateau. Really spacious apartment in one of the towers. Lots of places to explore and very quiet and peaceful. Alice and her team were very helpful and ensured that we had a wonderful few days.

House with a lot of character, very well equipped and very beautiful potential perfectly exploited. Laurence and Jean-Michel are very welcoming, considerate and available. Jean-Michel, a passionate bakery enthusiast, has concocted excellent pastries and bread for our breakfast. (Order on request). Ideal place to spend a very good time relaxing. Many picturesque villages to visit in the surrounding area. Thank you to them, and I look forward to returning.

Fabien and Guillaume are great hosts who put a lot of effort into making their guests feel right at home. There are so many kind and thoughtful touches that they provide, and they are always available to help. We liked it so much that we stayed an extra night! It is very cozy and peaceful.
