Parking approx. 100 meters from the cabin. Can drive to the cabin in summer. The cabin has 4 bedrooms, living room and loft living room, modern bathroom and kitchen. Cozy 12 year old cabin, 70m2 large, on the edge of a field, undisturbed and peaceful location. Approximately 250 m from the parking lot (partly a bit steep path). It is a big advantage, occasionally necessary to have 4 WD car. Two bedrooms each with a double bed downstairs, guest rooms in the loft with several mattresses on the floor. Bathroom with heated floors, shower+ Jet toilet. Living room and kitchen with large dining table. Wood burning :) Reading nook with great view in the loft. Plenty of room to romp outside. Mountains and or expanses just outside the door.

Welcome to a charming cosy house at Øyane. The house is located next to a lake where you can go fishing ( permit needed )svimming, canoeing and kayaking or ice skating in the winter. The house is surrouded by mountains with perfect hiking trails. A famous trail is to "Vetlevarden at Storfjella", Vaksdal. The trip start just outside the frontdoor. At the end of the lake there is a 80 meter high waterfall "Hesjedalfossen" It take 20 minutes by car to the waterfall. We have a free canoe avilable.

Read all before you book. Romantic rustic cabin in a beautiful meadow up in the mountains. The young girls lived up here with the cows in the summer pasture and carried the milk down to the farms every day. You reach the cabin within a medium easy 1 h hike from the road, where half of the hike is on a gravelly road and the rest in forest. Use shoes for off road hiking in nature. There are fantastic hiking opportunities with stunning views, and several lakes for fishing in the immediate area.
