We are delighted with our stay at Marion and Henri's apartment. The apartment is beautiful and matches the description and photos. We were able to enjoy the terrace which is a great plus of this beautiful duplex. The apartment is conveniently located to shine in Lyon and easily accessible with public transport. Everything was done to make our stay as pleasant as possible, both in terms of information for our arrival but also recommendations for visits and restaurants. I’ve spent many months in this charming, spacious studio with an unusually large (for France) shower. Its proximity to Gare de Vaise connects it to all of Lyon. It’s nestled in the under-sung sous-Quartier de la Gare d’Eau. Built around a port opened in 1830 to link the Saône with one of France’s first railways, the quartier’s name lives on in the school, the pharmacy and the rue Quai de la Gare d’Eau. The old port is now the Stade Joseph Boucaud sports complex, two steps from the studio. The area features 19th-century buildings—including this apartment. Le Scott tabac, across the rue, opened in 1910. Don’t miss the old château beside Square André Canard and the 1830 bridge Passerelle Masaryk. Though sloppy U.S. bombings in 1944 destroyed the train station, church and some residences, exemplary modern versions replaced them, mixing new with vintage. This is a true 5-minute neighborhood: bakeries, shops, restaurants, every need steps away—an urban planner’s dream, shaped by history.

Very responsive host, accepted that I arrive before 6 p.m. so it was great. Accommodation identical to the photo; only drawback: the jet of the shower head is not very powerful

Visiting Lyon for a weekend, we found a perfect base close to the metro mouth of Valmy. The apartment matches the listing. Laurence has always been responsive and clear in her instructions. I highly recommend it!

We had the most amazing stay in this apartment! Absolute perfect location, quiet at night, everything you needed in the kitchen, and comfy bed. Perrine was an excellent host, great communication and so quick to respond to any questions I had. Pauline's apartment is beautifully decorated and fits perfectly for two people. It is quiet and yet really good in relation to the good neighborhoods in Lyon. Please note that the apartment is located at the top and that there are a number of stairs to climb - it can be difficult with a large, heavy suitcase.

Just great! Very special Canut apartment and beautifully decorated. It is always warmer than the temperature outside - so in the height of summer it can certainly get hot. But a fan and a kind of air conditioning were available. The location of the apartment is more than fantastic. And Ludovic responds very quickly if there is any question. Top host too.

(welcoming and responsive +++) Very easy self check-in and very well explained The parking (allocated and secure space) is a real plus. The residence is very well maintained and very pleasant. The toilets are a little narrow (knees touch the door). But overall, nice apartment with everything you need to have a great stay. The balcony is a plus, sheltered from noise. We had a great stay at Édouard's. He welcomed us warmly, with delicate attentions that were very appreciated. The apartment is nice, very quiet, and well-equipped. We particularly appreciated the freshness of the place in the heatwave, as well as the magnificent garden that brings a real plus. Everything was perfect, we highly recommend it!

🌟 A perfect stay in Lyon! 🌟 I had a great stay at this ideally located Airbnb in Lyon. The apartment offers an absolutely magnificent view of the city. Very clean, well maintained, and tastefully decorated, you feel good right away. The neighborhood is perfectly located, with very good restaurants within walking distance and a pleasant atmosphere. Whether you're exploring the city or just relaxing, the location is really great. A big thank you to the hosts, very welcoming and responsive, always available to answer my questions and make sure everything goes well. I would recommend it without so much so as to be happy to come back!

Clément was a great, responsive host and the apartment itself was a wonderful base of operations for our visit to the greater Lyon area. The kitchen has everything you need to make great meals at home, but you have the option to enjoy a wide variety of cuisines within 10 minutes walking distance. To sum up it’s a convenient location with good access to transportation and supplies. The neighborhood has a youthful feel to it, and we felt safe at all times. I would like to add that the beds, linens and towels were all of high-quality, and the water pressure was great!

Great accommodation near Lyon, accessible by transport (bus, tram, etc.). Quiet residence and great and easy to use jacuzzi. We recommend! Thanks to Antoine who is a responsive and very nice host.

One of the best places we’ve ever stayed! A bakery 5 steps away, a small supermarket and a lovely little restaurant 10 steps away. Away from the crowds, still close to everything and with good connections. In Lyon, we loved most the Lumière brothers Film museum and museums telling about the silk industry.
