Abraham is a gentleman host and proactive in his communications. His place exceeds the description and photos you see in Airbnb. The last 400 meters is a bit rough, but can be handled with careful driving. The pool looks like it's still under construction and once completed it will be an excellent addition. It's still usable, and we had a lot of fun in the water. The property is surrounded by greenery and mostly you will be hearing the birds singing and chirping. The food prepared by the inhouse chef is excellent, though one may have to stick to Kerala/TN cuisine. There is a restaurant just 500m from the property. Highly recommended property if you are planning for a get together. Probably some board games and a shuttle net will be a worthwhile addition.

This a stunning Airbnb. Highly recommend and we’d go back in a heartbeat. Even better than the photos, which are great. The home has the authentic heritage feel with thoughtful modern touches. It’s really comfortable and inviting. I loved sitting on the veranda sipping coffee in such peaceful surroundings. The food was thoughtfully prepared and served. The grounds are beautiful. We walked throughout the beautiful plantation. Definitely a 5- star experience in every way.

The infinity pool n surrounding landscape, making it the perfect spot for relaxation,and serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive, ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect. Especially Bibin sir,he ensured everything as well as safety as we were all females friends only.Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in nature's lap.

Nice & quiet place. Rooms & Kitchen are clean. Even during the midst of May the climate is cool. Walkable distance to Pine forest. Enjoyed the stay.

The location was superb! . A completely serene place with only sounds of chirping of birds in a lash green surroundings and aroma of tea plants. In the evening, clouds come down to meet you at your door step. They offered good homely food. Sreejith and his team of ever-smiling staffs were amazing! They took excellent care of us! The owner of this plantation stay Mr. Rajesh has been a wonderful host!

Our stay at Harvest Farm was the highlight of our trip to Kerala. The hosts were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. As we first arrived we were greeted with a necklace made of flowers and fresh coconut! The farm is so unique unlike any place I had traveled before. They have an impressive assortment of plants and animals and our host Kurian was happy to explain each one and how he is raising them all in an organic fashion that is good for our environment and consumption. In the evening we were served an incredible local spread of food made from the produce right from the farm! So incredible. I highly recommend a visit. Also it is very close to the Elephant Junction!

Bincy and her husband and the two daughters are very lovely people. We had a great chat with them. The room is in the back building, there is a terrace, lots of flowers, the wifi was fast. The bed is great, hot water, enough storage space. large coffee oats If you have any other requests, they try to fulfill them immediately. 100% referral. When booking through this provider, breakfast costs 100 Rs/person extra, which is cheap enough, on the blue portal it is incl. Because it treats the hosts more accommodating.

I stayed a total of 6 nights at Jaya's homestay. For me, the location is was ideal, as it was only a 20-30 minute walk/10 minute auto-rickshaw ride away from Kumily/Thekkady, but I was able to breathe in fresh air throughout the day and hear nothing but the sounds of nature. It was really interesting to see pepper being cultivated at their home. They also have cardamom and coffee plantations. Jaya's husband showed me the process of picking pepper from the plants and sun-drying the peppercorns. This was very interesting for me. The location and environment was ideal for me, as it enabled me to detox and also focus on some studying that I had to do. Communication was ok for me, as my mother tongue is similar to their language, so I could get by. However, those who can only speak English may find some difficulty in communicating exactly what you want. Having said that, their hospitality was really good - I never felt hungry or thirsty during my stay, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The home is situated up a hill, and the walk from the road to the house is quite steep, so keep this in mind, especially if you find it difficult to walk up steep slopes. Overall, I had a wonderful stay here!

Staying at this ecostay in the heart of a spice garden was a truly wonderful experience. Surrounded by lush green leaves, the place offers a peaceful and refreshing retreat. The hospitality of the host, Uncle and Aunty, was exceptional—they were incredibly sweet, and we enjgoyed talking to them. The staff was also very helpful, making our stay even more comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. One of the unique highlights was the cardamom plantation within the property, adding to the natural charm. If you’re looking to escape the hustle of Thekkady, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Waking up to the sounds of birds made our mornings even more delightful. Highly recommended for nature lovers!

Periyar green homestay is a one of a kind Indian homestay experience, from the location to the forest and even the village where periyar is located is such a beautiful and peaceful place. Binu and his family were amazing hosts helping us with everything and anything we needed, we truly felt part of the family. It is easy to see how much binu loves where he loves and has many many stories about the forest and the way of life in the area, the food his wife and daughter prepared for us were incredible we didn’t want to eat anywhere else! It was very hard for us to leave we wanted to move in by the end of our trip 10/10 couldn’t recommend periyar green homestay anymore!

Bincy and Jacob were great hosts. We just felt right at home. We will just visit Thekkady once again just to stay at Bincy's place. The garden and house which they have maintained and decorated takes it to another level.
