Family-friendly holiday rentals in Væggerløse

This is our second time at this lovely summer house, and we are in love with it. You simply cannot find any better option in Marielyst. The hosts are amazing and very responsive, and the house is just so nice and quiet and peaceful. Just beautiful ... we will be back.

We can clearly recommend this house for larger groups. We were 17 for a training weekend, where we used the large outdoor areas for training. The kitchen was large and with seating for everyone. With 2 dishwashers, 2 stoves and plenty of counter space, it was really a pleasure to cook and also to sit and eat together. The house is large and there is the possibility to "withdraw" a little if you need to not be all together, both in the "outdoor room", game areas with sofas, kitchen areas and a small repos. The pool and spa were used diligently and we ran to the beach several times for a little dip. All in all, we are super happy with our stay and for those of you who are considering this house for a larger group of people, you should not be nervous. Super good place.

Me and my class were on a bluebook tour at Fritz's place! There was plenty of room for all of us and when we needed it was easy to get in touch with him! Super cozy place, with great amenities. Would definitely recommend booking with Fritz!

We were 6 friends and rented out the house for a weekend. The place was great, the kitchen was well equipped and the sauna was amazing. Short distance to the beach and go-karts. Check-in and out was easy.

We had a very good time in the beautiful house of Ebbe and his wife. It had everything you need to take a vacation and unwind. Outside, there were many opportunities to sit, lie in the sun, and play. The house has plenty of space and it just feels very cozy. Unfortunately, we were only here for 4 nights because we wanted to go further. If we come again, we will definitely stay much longer.

Brigitte is a wonderful hostess! Very, very attentive, friendly and with a lot of style. As a welcome, she not only left nice lines for us, but also prepared cool drinks and nuts for us to nibble on. The house is beautiful. With lots of loving details, without losing the famous Danish taste. I wish I had such a sense of interior design! The house is very quiet and private behind the fjord dike, where you can take a wonderful little walk in the evening. The surroundings have a lot of opportunities for exploration. For couples as well as for families with children. Brigitte as hostess, the blue pearl of the house and the area are recommended without restriction!

Gerdt is welcoming, responsive and considerate. The town itself does not have much to offer but there are nearby beaches to relax. Gerdt’s place is simple and rustic. There’s a nice garden with a pond in the backyard. The space is completely private. It’s a great place to do nothing and watch grass grow.

We had a nice two days! 🌻 The place was friendly, bright and the great terrace with the beautiful garden was perfect for a BBQ. Lotte and Christian were super nice, explained everything to us and were always there for us if we had any questions.

Just apart from the issues at check-in, which were caused by Airbnb's failed indication of the number on the house (listed as # 13 instead of # 1), we had a really good communication with Marianne, who could then tell us that we were at the wrong house. We haven't been greeted with a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates anywhere else we've rented. It's a really nice gesture and we had a lovely stay. The weather was definitely no complaint, with a super nice starry sky at night, among other things. We also managed to go swimming. The only thing I could wish for is that there were bikes available to get back and forth to the beach when you don't have the opportunity to bring your own bike. Marie-Luise

Henrik's cottage is very practical and cosy! The garden is lovely both for us to eat and for our dog to run around in. We enjoyed the combination of the tranquility and privacy of the cottage and the cozy crowds, nice ice creams and cool shops in Marielyst. What we thought was best is that we were really on the beach in less than 2 minutes. We almost forget the luxury of the baker's fresh bread around the corner! Blessed! Thank you Henrik for everything!! We recommend the cottage to everyone!

Beautiful and spacious holiday home. Because there is a beautifully landscaped garden at both the front and back, you can alternate nicely depending on the sun and wind. In the immediate vicinity you can walk and cycle well, for other activities you may have to drive a car.

Beautiful accommodation, cozy, stylish, very comfortable beds, great garden, bullerofen, sea sounds, the best place to relax you can imagine.

Amazing New Year’s Stay at “Den Gamle Skole” We spent New Year’s at “Den Gamle Skole,” and it was absolutely perfect! The house is super cozy and has everything you need to feel right at home. Sara is such a lovely host – super friendly, easygoing, and always available if we needed anything. The place was spotless and beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail. You can really tell it’s cared for with love. The quiet location was perfect for relaxing and exploring the area. Spending New Year’s here was such a special and peaceful way to kick off the year. Thank you, Sara! We’d love to come back!

Niels is a great host and the apartment was fantastic, would love to rent it out again

The house and amenities were in good condition and matched 100% with the description. We were a total of 15 people and the house worked perfectly compared to common rooms, kitchen, toilets, pool/spa - and the opportunity to just retreat in a bedroom. We greatly enjoyed table tennis, billiards, table football and not least pool, spa & sauna. It was also a pleasure that there were two Webergrille with the necessary equipment such as brush and grill starts. Could easily rent the house again

The house is nicely divided and equipped with everything you need. Unfortunately, the cleaning condition was not optimal in our eyes, but still ok. We had a lovely week and enjoyed the time very much.

We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday in this house:15min walk to a fantastic and almost deserted beach,the center of the beach promenade and shopping was quickly accessible by car and the neighborhood itself was clean,quiet and green! The special thing about the house for our children was undoubtedly the swimming pool, which was serviced/cleaned once during our stay. Perfect that you could see from the living area! The heating for the pool room was still audible in the next room, but the child did not bother sleeping. However, we had the feeling that this created a very high humidity in the rest of the house. The garden is spacious and offers plenty of space to let off, play or stop outside with the swings, the bud box and simply the large meadow! The host was very accommodating and flexible about our requests. Great!

Our stay at this house was really very nice. It is located in a quiet location in an area with some holiday houses, but with great distance. You can easily reach the beach on foot. When we got to the cottage, it smelled very good of wood, the kitchen and living room are very chic. The equipment of the house with trampoline, indoor pool and hot tub as well as numerous TVs also with game console, fireplace, pool table, foosball table, foosball, darts etc is really impressive and I can imagine that it will also be well endured at home on rainy days. Only when communicating with the DanCenter I have to subtract a few points because they are not easily accessible outside of their opening hours, and the key pickup was not as previously stated. Ultimately, however, we found the key very quickly.

We can’t say enough about the two weeks we spent at Winnie’s house this summer - my daughter learned how to swim better, and we enjoyed many evenings outside eating and enjoying the views of the garden. There are plenty of day trips to make the explore the area, beaches, cliffs, pet farms for children, etc. We made so many family memories here this summer with grandparents joining us! A special place with a wonderful and kind host!

We felt very comfortable, everything was perfect! Our kids had a great time and enjoyed it. Everything has been thought of, we would love to come again! In addition, Agnes was always available, she always responded to us very quickly. Especially the pool and jacuzzi were the highlight. Thanks for everything
