Super friendly host! The guesthouse was clean and extremely beautiful. Perks of the guesthouse is definitely the generator during loadshedding. I would 100% recommend this guesthouse!

We didn’t end up staying overnight because our flight was changed, but the room and the guest house were both charming and pleasantly quirky. We’d book to stay again if we find ourselves back in Johannesburg

I really enjoyed my stay at Sam’s place. The location is great - it’s in a nice area of the city, close to many restaurants, etc. Sam was very kind and provided great recommendations. The house itself is beautiful and the room was clean and had everything I needed.

This was the second time I stayed at Curiocity (first time booked through airbnb). It's a great hostel with a community feeling. The dorm room is comfortable although it's not likely that you'll spend much time in the room. There are plenty of other travelers to socialize with in the bar, the courtyard, or the balcony, and even if you're traveling alone it's easy to meet people to go on excursions with. All the staff are really helpful and you can get laundry done for 40ZAR, which for a long-term traveler is a godsend. The area is a very safe part of Joburg with private security and lots of shops and restaurants in the street, a little quiet during the week but very lively on the weekend and you're able to walk around at night. It's also very easy to get an Uber as there are usually a few in the neighborhood. The wifi works well in all public areas although sometimes it doesn't quite reach all of the rooms. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks guys!

A place of healing! The rooms are immaculate. An escape from city right inside the city. The hosts and staff were amazing, the facilities & food were world class! We did the deep tissue massage, floation therapy, steam, etc. and we are definitely doing it again! If you love classic and vintage feel this would definitely be a mini heaven! 🌸

Staying at Jeannie's apartment was an awesome experience. Walking into it does not prepare you for it beauty and gorgeousness. I wished I was staying for longer. The pictures and description do not do justice. I would recommend the apartment to anyone and I would love to book there if I find myself in Newcastle again.

Ing Boutique Hotel will definitely blow your mind; staff will leave you speechless with their unrated heart-warning spirit.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Illovo Central! The location is fantastic — safe, convenient, and close to everything we needed. Our host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. We really appreciated being given our space to relax and enjoy our stay. The apartment was clean, stylish, and exactly as described. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again!
