Great stay!

We didn’t end up staying overnight because our flight was changed, but the room and the guest house were both charming and pleasantly quirky. We’d book to stay again if we find ourselves back in Johannesburg

I really enjoyed my stay at Sam’s place. The location is great - it’s in a nice area of the city, close to many restaurants, etc. Sam was very kind and provided great recommendations. The house itself is beautiful and the room was clean and had everything I needed.

Josie's place is a gem! Especially when you attend an event at Wanderers. We will certainly return.

Great stay! Beautiful room and large bathroom. Was cold in Potch so the extra blankets in the wardrobe and aircon really helped. Location was great and close to the mall. Thank you so much

The place is beyond beautiful. As people who are familiar to Ladysmith we were beyond impressed that such beautiful sceneries exist there. Rooms and bathroom were clean and neat. Loved the minimal deco and neutral colours throughout the room.

The place is really lovely. It is better in person than in pictures . If you need a place in Harrismith or take a quick break on the N3 then this is the place to book. Friendly stuff

Moholi is an exceptional host and his place is lovely. The location is just inside the Ficksburg border crossing, which made visiting friends in Leribe and Hlotse very easy. Moholi was attentive and engaging. He made sure the five of us had everything we could possibly need throughout our stay. Moholi went out of his way to facilitate our every request, (late night dinner arrangments, car repair & wash, refrigerating a large birthday cake, and even helping me find hand crafted cow bells!). Our rooms were perfect, great wi-fi, strong hot water; Moholi even managed to get us an in-room refrigerator and an extra single bed so that the 7 year old in our group had her own special space! The common room was cozy and lively. It provided a great space for relaxing and enjoying heartfelt and thoughtful conversations. The optional breakfast was delightful. I highly recommend reserving breakfast and dinner during your stay. As an Airbnb Superhost myself, I appreciate Moholi's 5 star experience.

The Airport Tower is a very unique Spanish hacienda. Beautiful rooms, convenient to the airport, and a nice lake park to stroll in. Friendly, nice facilities, good food.

My stay at Nicki's guest house felt like a true wellbeing retreat. From the moment I arrived the tranquil environment—with a beautifully maintained garden, swimming pool, and fish pond—helped me unwind. Nicki was an exceptional host, supported by her long-standing staff, who ensured everything was perfect. I was pleased to receive a room upgrade, complimentary free weekly laundry, and weekday cleaning services. Mornings were therapeutic: I’d start my day bird-watching in the garden with a cup of coffee, admire the fish in the pond, take a leisurely walk around the lush & safe suburb, enjoy a swim, and relax sunbathing—all before officially starting my day/tour. The property is well-maintained, making it ideal for long stays, short breaks, or weekend getaways. It’s perfect for solo travelers, couples, and families alike.
