Have stayed here at ArtSpace before, and just like the last time, the place was absolutely perfect. It is clean, spacious, organized, functional and free of clutter. There is a patio outside where one can sit down and relax - read a book, or work on the computer. The WiFi connection is strong and reliable. There is solar power so no load shedding anxiety. Hot water is available and plentiful, and the pressure is strong. The area is safe and secure, and not only is there off street parking, you actually get to park in the garage. The garden is amazing, and you can lounge here or at the gazebo, or by the pool. Most of all the place is beautifully dotted by contemporary art that mesmerize. The place is near all the services and facilities you will need - malls, shops, restaurants, service stations, hospitals and clinics - making it a very convenient base for those special errands. This is the home you always have a reason to come back to. And the host, Teresa, is just wonderful.

Lindi is a very pleasant lady very helpfull we enjoy our short stay and will most definitely stay there again, it was safe and secure with everything you needed and more thank you for your hospitality.

Alex was a very friendly, helpful host! The cottage is in a beautiful space and very secluded, set apart from the rest of the property. We enjoyed our stay and have already made plans to return!

Wow! The beds here are so so comfortable! You will get an awesome nights rest! It’s very clean and spacious. You definitely won’t be let down.

Martin’s cottage in Parktown North is a great place to stay in Joburg. It’s located in one of my favorite neighborhoods, and is walkable to coffee shops and restaurants, etc. It’s located on a quiet, tree-lined street. Martin was a fantastic host, proactive and responsive and making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I’d highly recommend the cottage and Martin as a host for visitors to Joburg!

Val y Mickey, fueron muy amables, siempre pendiente de saber cómo estoy y si requiero algo. Mickey me llevo a Rosebank a 4 cuadras a pie, el trayecto seguro. El lugar es muy acogedor, amplio y seguro, tiene todo lo que se requiere para cocinar, buena cama, me sentí como en casa, además para el frío tienen manta eléctrica y un calentador a gas que me ayudarían mucho para evitar el frío por las noche , además me dejaron fruta y bebidas de cortesía de bienvenida. Fueron flexibles en la hora de llegada y salida, lo que agradezco mucho. Tenía poco tiempo para conocer Johannesburgo, por lo que decidí tomar el bus de turismo que inicia en Rosebank, el alojamiento está tan cerca que me permitió ir y volver a pie del centro comercial y de la estación del bus de turismo, llegar e irme en tren al aeropuerto fue lo mejor, la parada está en Rosebank.El taxi desde la estación de tren al alojamiento costó 22R, Solo me queda agradecer a Val y Mickey sus atenciones y ayuda.

Perfect stay over in Bloemfontein. The accommodation is perfect. So nice and clean. Would definitely stay there again when in town

Beautifully decorated cottage in lovely location next to the park, coffee shop and shops. Spent a lovely Christmas there, had an amazing kitchen with everything you could need.

I had a lovely stay at Lavender Cottage. Perrine’s place is lovely and comfortable, located in a beautiful garden and she is such an attentive hostess she instantly made me feel right at home.

This was our first time in Johannesburg, and we were initially quite concerned about safety. However, we were much reassured by the smooth self check-in process, in-compound parking, double-gated access to the premises, and very cozy house for us to relax and enjoy our time in the city. Everything we needed was available plus much more - the free breakfast items were a great touch! The bed was comfortable and the neighbourhood quiet for a peaceful sleep. We were saddened not to have scheduled more days in Johannesburg with such a pleasant place to stay! Highly recommended for anyone in the area.

Lesley was very flexible and provided everything we asked for without hesitation. She made our stay comfortable. The bed and sofa were very very comfortable, there were a lot of extra blankets. The view is very beautiful and everything was very clean. It was quiet and pleasant. This place is like a home, we didn’t feel that there was something missing. Lesley also provided a lof of choices for coffee which is very appreciable. Everything was very organized and we found a lot of towels. I highly recommend her place, the only thing is to confirm the right address with the host before coming as Airbnb mentioned an other address nearby. Thank you Lesley for everything! Best cottage ever:)

The Short stay here made me feel very at home and although i left halfway for other things，i would definitely choose this place Again if i needed to return to Johannesburg😄

Loved this place! It had everything we needed and more!. Lovely, spacious and secure garden for our dogs too. The town square is a short drive, and there are some beautiful hiking trails walking distance away. Great for dogs too! It was peaceful and private, and has a view of the mountain from the patio. Would definitely book with Lynda again!

Quiet location. Flat had most everything you need. Missing was a kitchen sink but the housekeeper would clean daily and take off the dishes and I could rinse them a bit in the bathroom sink. It was really hot when I stayed and the only fan was a ceiling fan over the bed. In summer you might want to bring an additional fan if the heat bothers you.
