House holiday rentals in Vaal Dam

My family and I had the time of our lives. We were 16 in total and were accommodated comfortably. We got more than what we expected as the place looks so much better in person! The scenery was incredible, the sunset was spectacular. We will definitely come back again. If you’re planning to make your way here, please use a big car, the road is really bad.

If you are looking for private, peaceful, quiet and a stunning show off of nature , You definitely have to visit Porcupine Place. The hosts are extremely friendly and make you feel so comfortable . There is so much to do for the kiddies if you have very outdoorsy kids like mine! My family did not want to leave ! We even got home made fresh bread from Andre! The best I've had in a while! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs to reboot! Thank you Linda and Nicky and Andre for your hospitality and kindness towarfs my family!

Chris’s place is a great staycation idea, the house is fully equipped with latest technology, the wireless charging is a great addition, the kitchen is well equipped and everything comes jn handy, it is right on the River, great for pictures, stunning pool and spacious entertainment area

The place was exceptionally relaxing and clean. Very good for a getaway relaxing break. Mari and the lady who manages the place were very attentive and non obtrusive. The house was cleaned and prepared daily. Would definitely recommend. We had a lovely time

This is one of those homes that you wish could stay secret, because you want to go back again and again. Just magnificent. We hope to visit this home often.

McFab farm stay is a lovely rustic farm house, off the beaten track and very peaceful. There is little to do in the area and the nearest two is roughly 40 minutes away so be prepared to relax. The house has all the hallmarks of a farm, wooden floor, stone walls but is well appointed with everything one may need for a short or long stay. Remember to bring all you need food/ drinks / condiments wise but they have a gas stove and fridge with all the cutlery and plates one would need. They have good selection of books and there are some walking trails to be found in and around the farm, great mountain biking and some fishing at nearby river. I would recommend this stay for people wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, away from cellphones ( very limited signal at the property ) and get in touch with country/ farm living.

The pictures do not do this place Justice. Peaceful, restful and beautiful. Host went the extra mile to provide a welcoming birthday pack with champagne, chocolates and balloons for my birthday. Place was beautiful, spacious and impeccably clean. The cleaning staff were wonderful. Great value and an amazing time.

We booked the Christmas week, so that we would be able to spend it with all our South African Family. We had a wonderful stay, the property is very well managed, and we were were all looked after so well by your staff members. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The accomodation was very good, the grounds are beautiful, the entertainment area was everything we wanted and more. A great time had by all, both young and old. Helena, thanks for a great week we had a wonderful time.

My family and I enjoyed being at this home, everything we didn’t think of was there at the house. Tracey is a lovely host, very communicative host . The area is very peaceful and has quite nice things to do, could relax by the river or take a dip in the warm pool. Overall we all were just thinking, we should come back here again in spring/ summer. Thank you Tracey and god bless you.

Nice accommodations for our group of 6 with clean modern bathrooms and equipped kitchen. Great open garden and lovely stoep and braai.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GETAWAY FROM THE CITY, THIS IS IT!! Absolutely loved the host first and foremost, so professional in all areas. The location was easy to find, the instructions given are spot on! The rooms were clean and I absolutely loved how each room has its own theme, so inviting, so modern, definitely a 10 out of 10. I loved how every need is catered for, although it’s out of the city we kept busy ( you can’t be board here) , lots of in door and outdoor activities from books, board games, a pool table, braai area, swimming pool, Child friendly facilities provided which makes it perfect for families. NOT EVEN LOAD SHEDDING could stop us from having fun as all load shedding essentials are provided. THANK YOU PEPER TREE, I’ll be back!!!!
