Horses graze in the adjacent pasture, and in winter the ski slopes start right next door. Also nearby is the wonderful Myllyjärvi, berry growing fields, and the Backby manor restaurant with spas. Cosy countryside cottage in the middle of nowhere. Cottage is located in same yard where the hosts home is. 15km to Riihimäki and 75km to Helsinki. Fully equipped kitchen with running water (both hot and cold water). Sauna in a separate building, built in 1930's. No shower there but traditional bucket shower works. Outdoor toilet. Four beds and one crib for baby. Good place for some hiking, biking and relaxing.
