Cottage holiday rentals in Usk

We had a fabulous short break in Humbug Barn. Beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Delicious meals waiting for us to cook upon arrival and fantastic hosts. We had a couple of minor issues that Amanda and Mark sorted straight away. Extremely friendly and very welcoming and the dogs were made to feel at home too. Thank you for making our stay really relaxing and we would definitely recommend. 5 stars for sure!

Amazing stay here with my husband. The cottage was perfect for a relaxing and quiet weekend. The breakfast basket was a lovely touch and everything was as described in the listing. Joy is a brilliant host checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly! Would definitely stay again!!

Jamie & Dan are very fortunate to have this beautiful property. It is the ideal country location for escaping away and distancing yourself from our increasingly busy lives. The gardens around the property are stunning, the views are incredible and the local area is amazing to explore on foot, bike or by car. We had an amazing stay and would happily return, and have already started to recommend to friends & family

This place is so lovely! Host Meng was so kind, even putting some beautiful flowers in the cottage for my birthday ❤️ the view is spectacular, it's one of the most peaceful places I've been. Hot tub is great fun, the kitchen has got everything you need including washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. The bed was comfy, plug sockets everywhere you'd want them and usb sockets. It was great to see how dog friendly the place is with throws for the couch, fenced garden and fixed stairs gates. I highly advise popping into Jolter Press Cider bar/shop and getting some food from the local Chinese takeaway. Also a walk to St Anthony's Well, there's some step incline/declines on the walk there but it's beautiful and you have to take a dip! We also went to the Three Choirs Vineyard that was beautiful and good fun too. I would definitely come back and I think it would be equally beautiful in any season, our summer trip was fantastic but I'd love to see it in autumn or winter too.

Had a lovely couple of days at Hlolly Barn. It’s a beautiful property in a gorgeous spot. The weather was fantastic which made everything even better. It’s really very easy to explore some superb walks and trails across the common and downs. Brockhampton Estate is well worth a visit too. Sarah is very friendly and it’s great to know she is next door without being intrusive. Loved it!

Amazing stay at the Yarlington Dairy. The cottage was stunning and had everything you needed. The views were magnificent and the cider was also lush! Laura was a wonderful host, super friendly and very responsive. Thank you for a great stay celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary! 🤩 x

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful cottage. Well presented with well thought out amenities left for us. Plenty of space for the three of us and the hot tub was a delightful treat after we had explored for 11k. Dinner at butterflies was stunning, for three people who talk a lot, we were eating in silence because we were so happy 🥰 Will happily recommend to friends and family visiting the area. Julia's airbnb is compact for a 2 bed let but beautifully organised and very clean with all the facilities you will need. Llanattock is a lovely village and the local pub was very welcoming. A lovely place to visit. Thank you

Kevin was a terrific host. The gardens of the house were excellent and made for a relaxing stay. The house was very charming and we enjoyed cooking for each other and playing games.

We had a wonderful stay (it was my second visit) and the property was perfect for my elderly mother. It's all on one level with spacious rooms and an accessible wet room. The property is very well equipped so it's easy to self cater if you want to. The house is very attractive inside and out and in a perfect setting with beautiful views. It's very peaceful and rural but with plenty of places to visit if you take a short drive and lovely local walks.

We had a fantastic stay! The host was very friendly and welcoming, and gave us some great advice on local places to visit and eat—really helpful in making the most of our trip. The house itself was spacious, comfy, and perfect for our young family (plus our dog!). The garden was private and secure, which gave us real peace of mind with both our daughter and the dog able to play safely. The beautiful and peaceful surroundings of the house and garden made it an especially relaxing place to unwind. The kitchen was well-equipped and thoughtfully stocked, and having easy parking and clear directions made everything smooth from the start. All in all, it was an ideal place to stay, and we’d definitely love to come back! Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage, big bonus is electric car charging and dog friendly. Comfy beds, real fire place and good board games. We had a lovely time

We had a great time in this cottage as a couple with our dog. Beautiful walks straight from the front door. Comfortable living area. It was so nice to have essentials and more in the kitchen, for example, oil, herbs etc… a luxury compared to a lot of places I have stayed. Thoughtful dog items. Bedding comfortable and clean. Great parking and close to the cottage.

The 1 bedroom apartment is attached to Painswick House and gardens. A gorgeous peaceful setting. Spotlessly clean and very appreciated welcome supplies including milk and homemade biscuits and marmalade. Very comfortable bed and bathroom. Loved staying here and would recommend to others looking in this area of the Cotswolds. Gloucester cathedral is magnificent.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with freshly baked bread and a thoughtful basket of goodies — such a personal and generous touch. The space itself was beautiful, cozy, and spotless, with every detail carefully considered. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was our hostess. She was incredibly kind and welcoming — warm, helpful, and genuinely caring. It’s clear she puts her heart into making her guests feel completely at home. Had the perfect get a way and much needed peace and relaxation. This was absolutely perfect!! Beautiful surroundings, Andrew and Sarah were absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed and it was super clean. The little added extras were so sweet, especially catering to my allergies. Overall will definitely come back!

What a little gem of a property. We loved everything about the cottage. Added bonus was the beautiful outside space too. Super comfy sofas, large comfy bed and pillows. If you want peace, quiet and relaxation look no further you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely lovely. The chapel is beautiful as is the location. So much attention has been paid to all details , everything we needed was available , even down to the log burner being ready to light. The chapel was spotlessly clean. Doreen provides perfect communication so we felt very welcome and knew we could ask if we had needed anything. The location in the forest is very special and we loved sitting out watching the wildlife. We would love to return sometime.

Delightful, charming and perfectly positioned cottage for exploring the area! Also couldnt be better suited for walking and a pint at the local pub on the way back. We had a wonderful time thank you!

We had a lovely stay at Jules & Mike's cottage. Because of its location, we had a gorgeous views of Bradford on Avon and the wider countryside. The garden was just the place for breakfast and, later on, a glass of wine in the evening. The cottage was perfect for a relaxing holiday and the area itself was great for getting out on public transport. It was so nice not to be in the car! We went to Bath, Lacock and Bruton. The interior matched the photos and description and I can't really fault it. I'm sure we'll be back!
