An amazing stay! We loved the area, the cottage, and the hosts.

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

The house is located in a secluded plot surrounded by woodland and with amazing views over the countryside. It has comfy beds, a modern kitchen with everything you need, a gas BBQ, a huge deck with outdoor seating and of course the lovely heated swimming pool. It is truly peaceful yet within an easy drive of Montignac with its supermarkets and riverside eateries. Saint Amand de Coly is a great base for exploring the Dordogne by car, with lots to see, visit and do within just half an hour’s drive and more further afield. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this super property.

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

The reality matches the photos on the site. We had a great time in an old house typical of the Périgord region. Very well located, it allows for many visits. The view of the valley is superb with the setting sun or the sea of fog.

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Check in was great with the host’s mother showing us around and the house was the perfect location for us, comfy and clean, to attend a wedding at Chateau de la Bourlie. The village itself there’s not a huge amount going on past 9pm but there was a lovely buzz on Sunday morning and it’s a good spot to explore the region from with easy connection via train if you need it. We enjoyed our stay and Matthieu and Melissa were lovely hosts.

We had a fantastic time in this spacious and cozy farmhouse. A great location, wonderfully quiet and beautifully situated. Enjoy the birds and butterflies in the large garden. Really an ideal place to relax and unwind. We were warmly welcomed by Anne, a very nice and friendly hostess. You feel more than welcome here. If it is up to us, we would like to come back.

You couldn't wish for a better host than Arnaud! Proactively check if everything is to your liking, or inform if help is needed. Via the app to respect your peace and privacy, but take the time for a conversation if you want. The accommodation is new and cozy with an eye for details. We felt right at home there! The thick walls keep heat out and you can have a good night's sleep in the lovely beds and good sound insulation. The location is conveniently located in relation to the many attractions in the area. Much has already been written about it in the introduction to Arnoud and Elodie, but if you want to swim in peace, relax on the side and lie in the shade under the trees with a catering facility, go to Pont de Vicq in Le Buisson de Cadouin. The town of Monpazier is also definitely worth a visit! Normally, supermarkets are miles away, but in this place, there is one 900 meters away. Arnoud, Elodie, thank you for the wonderful time!!

The house is as described, the host is very responsive, always there if needed. The garden is fenced, ideal for my dog. The Spar opposite is a benefit for a short stay.

Beautiful house, very well equipped, very clean and quiet. Nothing is missing. Small pool, very appreciable in hot weather. This one is heated. Very nice decoration. Ideally located to visit the Black Périgord. Very close to Beynac. Many sites within 20 minutes' drive. The Dordogne is very close (10 min walk) with the possibility of canoeing. Margot welcomed us with kindness. Very available while remaining discreet. We recommend this property.

Jenny and Marc were excellent hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and they are lovely people. The place is beautiful, the view is amazing, the gîte was very comfortable and well equipped. Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. Charming region, apartment in the heart of a pretty little typical village, very clean with all the necessary amenities and a nice decoration that immediately makes you feel good. Welcoming, responsive and very adaptable host. I would recommend it in a second.
