What a great stay! I love an A frame and this house was perfect. It was well stocked - even had plenty of wood for the fire pit. The s'mores welcome kit was perfect. I will say that if you have a hard time with stairs then this house probably isn't for you because the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs but Carrie has several other homes to choose from. It really is peaceful. There are neighbors but they are quiet and we only saw one set of neighbors the three days we were there. The dirt roads to the house weren't bad either. I will stay here again and highly recommend it to friends and family. Actually am seriously considering taking my 3 college age daughters for a girls' weekend.

We loved our stay at Anna’s cottage! It was the perfect peaceful sanctuary we were looking for. The property is charming, thoughtfully designed, and elegantly outfitted. The location offers a very private vibe tucked away in the woods while being being in the center of the peninsula and convenient to get around. Anna was a super friendly and helpful host, making sure we had a positive experience every step of the way. We are psyched to return for another retreat at this amazing cottage in the woods!

Really loved our time at this cabin overall! The location is gorgeous - the views from the back patio, the hot tub, the fire pit, and the indoor spaces are absolutely stunning. You can see so much of the lake, and of the beautiful surrounding land. The cabin is also lovely. It had lots of little touches to make it feel more comfortable, cozy, and ready to settle right in! There are a few things I wish were more clear in the listing. For example, there are two bedrooms - one has a queen bed, and one has a trundle with two twins. The other queen is a pull-out couch right in the living room. Since the cabin is mostly just one large space, that room is open to all of the space. Also, the hot tub is on a low watt plug, so it took about 5 hours for it to warm up to the point of being comfortable in chilly weather. I wish it had warmed up more quickly, or been usable right when we arrived. Overall it was a really lovely trip and I would definitely recommend it to others!

Very nice lake cottage. Beautiful views of Mullet Lake. Described as written. Went in off season and no vehicles traffic on narrow road to cottage pulling a fishing boat. Recommend.

We stayed here for a ski race for my daughter at Searchmont and the accommodations and host Jessica were excellent. Great, clean, modern home on Lake Superior. Quiet and relaxing. Would highly recommend.

We had a great holiday weekend at the cabin for the Bayshore Marathon. It is very clean and has everything we needed and more. It had a seccluded woodsy feel in spite of being very near the main parts of town and walkable. Close to the beach, the start trail but private with a wooded back yard and creek running through the property. 3 mile is noisy and busy as is 31 but it didn’t bother us. We brought ear plugs just in case.

This home is a peaceful, quiet, retreat. The views were the biggest plus for us. Dan has really nice outdoor furniture, hammock and firepit.....And when moving indoors, comfortable, clean sofas to sit and watch the water too. For a "dog friendly home", the owners have really done a great job of keeping the indoor spaces very clean and bright. We felt very comfortable amd relaxed here. What a great southern Door spot!

If you are looking for a place to unplug and enjoy nature this is it. It is about an hour from the Soo, so just keep that in mind if you are needing anything. We came here to mountain bike and drove an hour into Sault Ste. Marie everyday and it was honestly no issue. We came here to bike and relax, so the location was perfect for the relaxation part. Just a walk across the road is the waterfront where we were able to catch the sunrise. Arlen's family is lovely, his parents live next door and sell freshly baked bread that his dad will deliver to you next day. There were three humans, our dogs and cat that stayed here and there was more than enough room. The bunkie is perfect for someone wanting some privacy, it is basically a cozy bedroom. Place is clean and as described. Lots of towels and linen provided. There are board games and Netflix. The only thing I will say is that although the water is potable, it did have a weird taste to it, so I ended up buying water. 100% would recommend.

What a beautiful place to hang our hats at. We really enjoyed the view and the amenities were amazing. Also the mattresses were great!!!

Would definitely recommend staying at Adam's beautiful home/cabin in northern Wisconsin. The place was clean, matched the pictures, and was exactly what my group needed. It's quiet and peaceful making it the perfect getaway location. You need to have a little campfire under the stars if you're staying here as well. If I'm back in Crivitz, I know what I'm staying. It was a wonderful place to stay with the touch of history that the UP has since it was a mining house at one time. Everything was very clean and taken care of. Would recommend to anyone heading to the keweenaw and look for a good location with all sorts of history, waterfalls, and rock hunting around.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the blue kettle. It was clean, host was responsive when needed and we had a wonderful time in the surrounding area.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Winding River Cottages and we absolutely love it. Located just outside of town, it is a private space on the water that is teeming with wildlife and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It’s perfect for fishing, relaxing by the campfire and exploring surroundings from the kayak. It is clear that the owners take pride in their cottages, as they have made significant updates since we last stayed - new pergolas, charming outdoor lighting and a beach! We hope this space is available the next time we return!

Jodie is a wonderful host and is extremely responsive! Home is wonderful and fully stocked, more than you can imagine :) Loved the coffee and hot chocolate bar as well. Home was clean and views are amazing! Deer are abundant. We enjoyed watching movies and snuggling in by the fireplace. We enjoyed cooking all our meals in the kitchen and found everything we needed. Thank you and we shall return! Highly recommend, what a wonderful gem! Deb & Chad

Wonderful cozy stay. Description is accurate and the surroundings are gorgeous. We took a long walk around the area where the house is and it’s stunning.

Wonderful stay but not wheelchair accessible for those that need the accommodations.

The place was clean and cozy and being dog friendly was a huge plus for us. Extremely private and beautiful views! Also some of the best atv trails we've been on in the state less than a mile down the road!! 5 stars all around!!

This house was absolutely beautiful! Me and my husband had a great experience here, it was very peaceful and relaxing. We had a great time watching the lake and the geese that would walk through the yard. Pam was also an excellent host! We would definitely recommend this place!

This place is REMOTE, peaceful and quiet. The house was extremely clean and well organized. Its nice to see a full kitchen of everything needed, including spices! Loved the view of the lake.

This place was great! Incredible setting with a beautiful view of the lake and a comfy cabin vibe. The fire pit and the kayaks made everyday very enjoyable and helped us feel right at home. Marc was very helpful and we would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away and unwind!
