We had a great time staying at Alex’s place. The house was super clean and had everything we needed and was a great way to relax and unwind after trekking around Revelstoke. Highly recommend this house for your next vacation. The amenities are hard to beat.

Very roomy,kept quite cool,everything you could need in the kitchen except a mixmaster.Would certainly go again.We didn’t know about the duck itch and all got it,that was not good.People around were friendly.Had a good time.

We had 10 people stay here for a ski trip and had a fantastic time. 10 minutes away from Revelstoke resort but also private and secluded is the perfect mix. It is very open and spacious with lots of indoor and outdoor space. Very nice having a covered hot tub on the back deck and the pool table was a big bonus. The fireplaces came in handy since the main areas are not as warm. Jamie was a very helpful host and responded immediately for any of our questions. Would recommend for any big group looking for a great place to stay with a bunch of options to stay entertained after a big ski day.

We had a lovely getaway to this remote cabin. Beautiful surroundings in a remote area while still being close enough to Nelson for whatever you might need. Tim was very responsive and helpful as a host.

Great condo, hot tub was perfect after skiing. Great coffee and breakfast within walking distance!

This was a perfect getaway for our large group. There is so much space, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. We spent a lot of time enjoying the deck with the view! We would certainly love to stay here again when visiting Nelson.

We had an amazing stay! Peaceful, clean, with stunning lake and mountain views. Jeanine was so kind and welcoming. Loved the firepit, the cozy vibe, and the cute pups. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We’ll be back!

Overall great cabin experience with the family. It snowed quite a bit while we were there so we took advantage of the campfire site at the beach. The stroll through the woods was really nice all the way down to the water. The cabin is cozy and it felt like a true getaway with some great time spent with the family. The kids loved the dvd collection and the bunk beds and we enjoyed being able to unplug for a few days. Overall we would recommend the Kootenai Hideaway.

What a wonderful stay! I think there are several factors that have me feeling rejuvenated. All of the natural building elements, wood, hand made tiles, clay, and earthen floor, ( with such intentional design and colors), create both a very calming and cozy environment. Large windows bring in lots of light. The place is kept very clean. The bath tub is luxuriously large. And the quiet of the house in this rural setting did wonders for my sleep. Peggy was very responsive and a great host! Staying at the Fabulous Farmhouse Suite was such an easy way to detox from the city, feel refreshed and inspired. You won’t find another spot like this !

Maria is an excellent host! We had a couple issues but she addressed the one immediately (unfunctioning lock) and I'm sure she'll fix the other pronto too- the listing implies more beds than exist. There's one in the bedroom, one in the loft and a foldout futon. All are comfortable. The space is very clean. The views are very nice. The cabin is very nicely outfitted with appropriate but unique furniture. The kitchen is well outfitted too. The space was very private and the deck a nice place to gather. Highly recommend both the host and any of her properties!

This was a beautiful setting, so peaceful and quiet, with great amenities -flush toilets, showers, and an indoor kitchen if needed. We were impressed by the comfortable community room, complete with wifi. Tom is a great host: available, attentive, and respectful. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay. The space seemed so much bigger than in pictures. Lovely looking at Valerie’s artwork. Very well equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfy. Such a lovely quiet place to stay. The deck was perfect to have our morning coffee. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Nonie and Dale were absolutely incredible hosts. We felt welcomed and right at home from the start. Cabin was just as described and fit our family perfectly. The photos do not do the view justice. We are already making plans for our next trip to stay with them!

Ina’s place is a beautiful little slice of heaven. It was exactly what we were looking for in terms of peaceful location with waterfront access. We enjoyed our time on the very spacious dock and using the provided SUP and kayaks. Thanks Ina!

Centrally located which made it easy to walk to all the shops and places to eat. The place was clean and had all the things we needed.

Annie was a wonderful, kind host who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable in the suite. We loved the cozy sitting room, spacious bedrooms, beautiful garden and patio area, and well supplied kitchen (perfect for simple family meals - no stove, but we weren't cooking anything too fancy on this family holiday, and all the other basics were available including ingredients for a couple of meals!). Our two kids slept well in the bedrooms (lots of extra blankets and sheets to make sure everyone was extra comfortable), and enjoyed the nearby playground (walking distance).

The studio is beautiful. It’s lovely and cool on a hot summer day and made me feel very calm. We wanted to relax and cook and enjoy some beach and lake activities and we got just that! The location is ideally situated very close to town but on the ‘quiet’ side of the lake. The hosts were great.

The house and property exceeded expectations based on the listing. Beautiful log home made for a comfortable and peaceful stay and the property is very private with a nice useable waterfront access. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything needed to do your own cooking. Mike was quick to respond to any questions and had the place well prepared prior to arrival. I would definitely recommend a stay here as a home base for a visit the area!

I stayed at the Mori Cottage for 12 nights with my husband and adult daughter. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bathroom was large with extra towels for everyone. Shower is larger than it looks in the photo. We cooked and ate at the cottage for most of our stay. The local grocery store is surprisingly well stocked for a small town. We had room to store our two 17 foot kayaks and inflatable SUP in the shed. Beach access is a short walk along Carpenter Creek. The beach is pebbly and there is shade to hide from the heat. We kayaked (drove to the local park at the end of 1st Ave to launch from there), paddle boarded, and swam in Slocan Lake (warmer than Kootenay Lake). Spectacular scenery! Mountains and huge lake. My daughter walked to the lake several evenings where she stayed up very late/early morning to star gaze. Location is very quiet. We could sleep with the windows open and only hear the rushing of the creek. We had a lovely, peaceful stay and hope to be back!

My husband and I came to stay at the bear valley cabins in 2017 to celebrate our anniversary and loved it so much we came back a second time this year. The cabins are so picturesque and the location is to die for. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
