I’m hesitant to give a 5 star review, only because we would love to keep this cabin hidden for ourselves every winter. We were on an annual snowmobile trip. We ride Park and Nelson all the time. It was great not having to drive home every night to the kelowna area. We rode our sleds right from the driveway. The trail fee guy was a few hundred feet up the road. Cabin was exactly what you should expect. Clean, neat and the owners were incredibly accommodating. We would park our sleds, hop in the hot tub and relax with beers and cook great dinners overlooking the lake. What else can you ask for.

What a beautiful place! First time using Airbnb and Oliver blew us away. Such welcoming energy, very helpful and a beautiful cabin. The spa facilities were amazing. Definitely will be back

My family and I spent a long weekend at Olivier’s place. He’s been a great host and we had a wonderful time staying at this wonderful property! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes outdoor activities, fishing, hunting, hiking or exploring the true beauty of BC!

Alanna, Thanks so much for letting us stay Redfish Lakehouse. Our family of 5 plus our Lab had a fantastic time. Lots of swimming and lake activities! Just what we were planning. We had a number of great dog walks by the Kokoanee spawning channels and spent lots of time watching the eagles, osprey, herons and turkey vultures set up shop on the beach. The beach was perfect, a couple of sandbars keep the boats away and make for a mostly sandy walk out to the deeper water. Great for kids and tired dogs! You are a pro - we had everything we needed inside and out - ice maker, Smart TV, extra lawn chairs, beach chairs, beach toys, table games, giant jenga and the dog towel! The deck was definitely a favourite. Lots of room and the afternoon shade was heaven sent at times! We look forward to staying again someday! Tammy & Greg

It’s one of the best vacations if not the best vacation that we have ever had with our family. To the fishing off our private dock, kayaking, campfires. It all combined for a great holiday and fun was had by all. Margaret and Boyd are fabulous hosts. They went over and above to make sure we had a good time. The accommodations were great and the most equipped house we have ever rented. All you need is your clothes, food and a toothbrush and you are good to go. An amazing spot to base oneself for some time exploring the Kootenay’s. The view is incredible and the garden, windows, and hot tub all make excellent use of it. Ilse and Andrew were friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back if possible!

If I could give more than five stars, I certainly would. This place is fantastic, offering a beautiful house with all the necessary amenities. Situated in a picturesque location, it affords numerous opportunities for outdoor recreation. Our hosts were remarkable, always willing to go the extra mile to assist us, and they also had a lovely dogs with whom we greatly enjoyed spending time. I would be delighted to return as soon as possible. Highly recommended. 👌

Fantastic stay at the Hidden Half Mile Lake House! This is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. We were blown away by the views from every aspect of the house including the hot tub! Attention to detail was amazing and everything was top spec. Despite being within walking distance of Nelson there is a feeling of peace and tranquility around the area. The hosts do a brilliant job of keeping the house in great condition and Jake went out of his way to come by and blow up the paddle boards for our use! It’s not at all surprising that this house was recently listed as one of the best AirBnBs in Canada. We would thoroughly recommend anyone to book this place and we would love to return one day!
