Farmstay holiday rentals in Union County

Our group has stayed at Jim’s place for four years now. Jim is always hospitable, the lodge is always very clean, and has all the listed amenities. The beautiful surroundings make our weekend very special, quaint, and relaxing. We are able to cook efficiently. We are hopeful to be back next year.

We loved being able to see all of the beautiful wildlife that is on the property and we loved fishing all day on the lake. The host was very helpful and accommodating. We all had a great time.

We loved our stay, it was very cozy on a chilly night. I loved the high ceilings in here, it felt very open and spacious. I’d love to do another’s girls trip here! We especially loved the fireplace and watching old movies on the dvd player.

This was hands down the most favorable experience I’ve had with Airbnb. Not only were the location and amenities perfect, but Amanda is also an amazing host! We had a wonderful stay. It’s in a beautiful country setting surrounded by stunning nature. The perfect getaway if you want to get away from all stress. Will definitely book again next time I’m in the area

The cottage was lovely with much care to all guest needs. The location was very lovely in the forest. We hope to make it to the winery in the future but didn’t have time this trip.

We had a wonderful stay on the farm and wish we could have stayed longer! Everything here was absolutely perfect. Marte is the kindest and most thoughtful host who will make you feel right at home. She even left us some snacks which were much appreciated. The property is so beautiful and brings a sense of peace. We got a great night of sleep and felt very comfortable and welcome here. We will definitely return next time we find ourselves in the area!

We had a wonderful stay at Rustic Route Cabin. The surroundings were beautiful, the cabin was everything we needed for a girl’s getaway: Comfortable beds, three bedrooms with their own bathroom, and an additional bedroom. There is nothing more we could have asked for. It was perfect!

Such a wonderful experience from start to finish! Leah’s home is absolutely beautiful with the ultimate charm. She gave us the warmest welcome and showed us around, but it wasn’t until we settled into our room that I noticed the all of the finishing touches that made this stay so memorable…the beds were SO comfortable, the smell in the house is intoxicating, the bathroom floors are heated (which she didn’t mention but I noticed immediately as my feet hit the floor), and all the extra amenities that no one knew they wanted (but I promise you do) ♥️ I could go on and on. She definitely takes the B&B experience to the next level. Breakfast was amazing! I’ve already told 3 people about this place so it’s safe to say, I’ll definitely be back!

My family of 3 had a wonderful stay at Nesher Cottage! It was a peaceful quiet space, which was exactly what we were looking for. It was a short drive to some beautiful hiking trails. and when we returned, the bathtub felt luxurious, and the beds with so many throw pillows were perfect for lounging. We especially enjoyed catching glimpses of hummingbirds through the window and watching fireflies from the front porch.

We were looking for a location to spend a relaxing weekend and Kathy’s home was the perfect location. We enjoyed the peaceful setting despite not being too far off the beaten path. Kathy was very responsive to the small issues that came up during our stay and seemed genuinely concerned that our stay met our expectations. It felt a like a real country farmhouse if that is what you are looking for.

Pretty great stay. I enjoy higher class stays, And this didn’t fall under expectations. Well done! Only downside was the traffic that comes in and out of the driveway for wedding venue looking.

This property is located in the country on a beautiful estate. If you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful stay, where you can see the stars at night and watch a stunning sunset…this is the place. I can’t say enough about Dru, she is a wonderful host and cooks some amazing home cooked meals. We were there for a retreat with friends and to celebrate birthdays, she did a great job making our stay memorable. She can arrange horseback riding or relaxing massages if that’s what you are looking for. This property is located about a two hour drive south of St. Louis; however it’s an easy drive mostly highway. I am already looking forward to my next visit! Thanks Dru, for being an amazing host.

We had a great weekend at Lena’s house. It was very clean. A very nice place to stay out of the way and secluded in a very quiet setting. We highly recommend staying here!

We felt the cabin was very clean. We enjoyed the decor and the ability to cook out and even a day of just hanging out at the cabin when weather did not cooperate.

This space was perfect for our first getaway with a very active toddler. I was impressed by how childproofed the house was (outlet covers!). We really enjoyed the flexibility of waking to Alto Pass Winery next store. The internet was spotty the first few days (which we were warned about) but there were plenty of DVDs to choose from for movie nights. We had a great time grilling on the deck and letting our dogs relax in the yard. We will definitely be back!
