Holiday rentals with a kayak in Union County

We loved the house. Beds were very comfortable and the view from the deck looking over the lake was awesome. We saw deer in the front and back yard almost every morning and night.

Our family (4 adults) stayed here over Labor Day weekend. In a word…WOW! We have stayed in many lake homes in several states and this one,by far, was our favorite for many reasons. Gorgeous home with nice furnishings and every bed was incredibly comfortable. Lots of room to spread out and incredible outdoor space. Easy access dock on a quiet cove with friendly neighbors. We swam and fished from the dock and the ladder to get out of the water had a nice platform that made getting up much easier. Chatuge is a stunning lake and we found it to be unusually quiet for a holiday weekend. Darlene was definitely a super host and made the much needed getaway for our family possible. We have her home in our favorites and will share it with other friends that travel. We definitely hope to return there in the future! Thanks Darlene!!!

I can't say enough about Lisa's home! It had everything listed and more. The thoughtfulness in the little details made this the best experience we have had with an Airbnb. This home is beautiful and the amenities at the lake were perfect. Our family had a wonderful week and hope to do it again in the future.

Carols Cabin was very nice and comfortable. We had 6 kids under 10 with us and we all had a great time and the basement kept them occupied with the huge tv and surround sound. I would definitely recommend the cabin to others.

Beautiful location on Lake Nottaley, beautiful home and ideal for our family.

Great location, great house layout. Kitchen stove could use better cleaning or replacement (had some burnt on stuff that filled the house with smoke on first use), was not a major issue. Grill should definitely be replaced at this point. Other than those minor things we had a great stay. Game room and kayaks were a huge plus. So was the private dock access. Very friendly neighbours.

Janet was the best host I’ve ever had—extremely responsive and super flexible. My children loved the entire space, and we enjoyed a beautiful breeze from the balcony. We had a little storm during our stay, but it was no big deal. Everything was close by, including the lovely park in Hiawassee. We had an amazing time riding horses in Brasstown, making s’mores, flying kites, and panning for gems in Helen—just good old-fashioned fun. The kids especially loved the bunk beds with the Beddy’s sheets. We were able to stream cartoons for them and make breakfast using the griddle. Overall, it was a beautiful and memorable few days!

We are relocating to north Georgia and stayed here a month. This was the perfect location to explore Blairsville and the surrounding area. The unit was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. It even had kayaks that we took down to the lake one day; so fun. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and it was a nice stroll down to the lake every day. Claudia was so gracious to let us check in early and was very quick with communication. Highly recommend.

I reserved this AirBnb for my parents to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday. I am posting this review on behalf of them! - This was the perfect setting for my husband and I to celebrate my 60th birthday. The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. The view of the lake was really nice and having a dock right out your backdoor was a great amenity and perfect for our pontoon boat. The close proximity to numerous restaurants was a plus and we enjoyed visiting Bell Mountain to take in the views of Lake Chatuge and Hiawassee. Our host, Leslie was quick to respond when we reached out to her. We look forward to visiting again!

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. Five star

What a wonderful property! We visited for our honeymoon and had such a lovely time. Spent a good chunk of our time in the loft, listening to the rain on the tin roof! The forest behind the house is beautiful. I learned that I really love baths while here, as it was a bit too chilly to use the outdoor shower. Didn't mind that at all and it was really nice to scrub down and soak in the tub. We loved how getting to Foxfire and Tallulah Gorge was very quick from this location. White Birch Provisions in Clayton is incredible and you should visit if you stay here. Overall was a fantastic time and we are so thankful we could experience this beautiful, magical place! <3

I want to give a 10-star rating, but the system only gives me five 🌟. Robin's family is very friendly and knowledgeable. We can talk about all new things together. Their dog is also very friendly and I can't let it go. There are also two cute donkeys on their farm. Every morning when I wake up, I want to say hello to them. In short, I will come here again. It is a quiet, beautiful and charming environment. I wish you all the best!

Great location and very peaceful. Short walk to the lake. Well equipped cabin and is very clean and comfortable. Great comma from the host. No issues during the stay.

Great get-away for a family! Lots to do on the property, you can fish, swing, look for salamanders in the creek and look at the waterfall. Sitting by the firepit watching the river go by was relaxing.

Toccoa Currents was exactly what we wanted and definitely did not disappoint!! The location was secluded, peaceful, next to the Toccoa River and absolutely perfect. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and also has a nice coffee/tea bar. Large bathroom w/double sinks and a nice hot shower. King size bed was very comfortable as was the leather reclining sofa and leather recliner. The rustic bed frame, kitchen table, and other wooden pieces suit the cabin very nicely. The cabin has a wrap around covered porch with chairs and glider to enjoy the scenery, gas grill and just steps away from the river. This is the perfect couples getaway!!

This home is so warm and reminded me of a lake cottage even though it’s a big house. There was so much to do we didn’t even get to everything. All the appliances are top of the line, beds are comfy but best of all is the outside area my group did a-lot of fishing and played in the paddle boat and canoe. We saw deer and maybe a beaver I’m not sure what it was but it was cute . Kristen checked on us a few times to make sure everything was good and was very quick to fix a issue that I had even though it was something that could have waited she wanted to make sure I had a five star experience. I can’t wait to go back with family. Thank you so much Kristen for sharing your home it was a great experience.

This AIRBNB is the best we have ever had! The home was beautiful, clean, well-stocked with everything - kitchen, bed and bathrooms. The game room was loads of fun! The hot tub was wonderful. The view was SPECTACULAR!!! It was a perfect trip for all of us and we had a marvelous time! Everyone agreed it was a perfect weekend! We will book this again!!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was spacious, clean and adorable! The pool table and hot tub were big hits. Easy drive into Blue Ridge, and loved the quiet setting of the cabin.

This cabin was beautiful. We loved the fact that almost every room had a king size bed. The kitchen, dining room, and living room were spacious. everything was clean. The dock was perfect for fishing or taking a dip in the lake and there were no cobwebs or spiders on the dock. The cabin is next to a marina but even on a holiday weekend it wasn't super packed or noisy. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was so beautiful and we felt so at home. We had some smell issues in the bathroom and it was after hours and they sent someone right away. We also were SO thrilled that it was decorated beautifully for Christmas!

Such a perfect weekend getaway. Cozy cabin with everything you need. Great location and beautiful surroundings. 30 min drive to Helen, GA. Wendy was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Looking forward to returning to this cabin very soon.

There are a couple extra hoops to jump through with this management company. We rent often and seldom have issues. Lots of texts, calls and emails warning me to sign their contract or they would cancel the rental. I was traveling and had paid. We went in person and all went well. The property was super and once we got into a groove, Southern Comfort was super as well.
