We loved our stay! I loved having the coffee Jorge provided in the balcony every morning while enjoying the view. The apartment felt like home. It is well located near the town center, local market, supermarket, etc. Jorge is an amazing host. He took the time to meet up at check-in, showed us around the unit and pointed out local attractions. We also appreciated the wine and pastries he left for us when we checked in. I am so glad we found this place and I would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay. The apt is in a great location with ocean and river views. We watched the sunset from the spacious and comfortable balcony daily. Luís has everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. He gave a very thorough orientation and showed us where we could find all the necessities. Every area of the apt. is comfortable. Luís provided recommendations to local restaurants. He really takes pride in providing a comfortable place for his guests to stay and it shows in the presentation. We will certainly return to Luís’ place in the future.

If I were to own a place in Porto this is the one I would want! Centrally located, within a short walk to all the major sights, it is on the top two floors on a corner with a terrace on both sides, great views in both directions, sun all day and as much privacy as you could hope for in the middle of a city. The classical building is beautifully restored. The apartment has superb minimalist detailing of the modern insertions: en suites, bathroom, kitchen and stair. It is excellent thermally. In mid-July the cool evenings balanced the warm days and with one bedroom window ajar at night we did not need the air-conditioning even on the upper living level. However you might want the well sealed external doors and windows closed for early morning garbage collections, and possibly for the street performers below during the afternoon and early evening but mostly we enjoyed the music and liveliness. It is expensive but worth it for the quality, especially if you need the second bedroom.

View was unbelievable especially evening. Location was perfect for us since we had a car and we were able to have a nice quiet evening. If no car not as convenient since everything is a bit far. For us price was worth it. Enough rooms, bathrooms and beds. The lady who met us during check in was very helpful and responsive. I feel she made the experience a lot more easier for the whole stay

Staying in Gaia on our visit to Porto was the right call for us. Beautiful sunset views, in my opinion better than the park or the bridge - right from the bedroom balcony - 9th floor. Just a few minute walk to Dom Luis bridge, 10-20 minutes down to the port warehouses and docks. Easy/lovely cross to Porto waterfront. Very comfortable - this place worked great and Sonia is very helpful and communicative.

Great place to stay and having three complete private bedrooms is highly beneficial when traveling with family. We hope to return for a longer trip in the future to soak in the sun and visit the Douro Valley. Very accessible location.

Gorgeous views from a gorgeous apartment! Everything was immaculate and modern, we appreciated that the crib and high chair were set up for us. A wonderful trip, would absolutely recommend!!

I was extremely satisfied with my stay at this house! From the very beginning, I felt very welcome. The house is exactly as in the photos – clean, well decorated and with a cozy atmosphere that made me feel at home. The location is excellent, quiet but at the same time close to everything you need, such as restaurants and supermarkets.

Amazing property and view. We had a terrific time. The property worked great for our group. Best sunset! Marco and his crew were extremely responsive. Driving in the Douro Valley is not for the faint of heart. We had a ball!

Maria greeted us and had cheese and cold beverages and a few other amenities in the fridge , we were able to get some great information she was very friendly and helpful . The views were fantastic exactly like the photo’s . Went to the Espinho market on Monday it was huge great deals and something for everyone was easy to get there . Plenty of walkways all along the ocean you can walk for miles . The train station is very close that you can take to Porto just FYI if you do take the train to Sao Bento Porto which is the downtown you have to change to Train 2 at the main station. This area is easy to get around and parking was close and free. Would love to come back to this area to explore some more .

I was absolutely Gaga over Jorge’s place! Exquisitely curated with architectural details that were just impeccable. As an interior designer, this space has my fervent stamp of approval. The neighborhood is great - tree lined streets, lots of students and just nice and quiet. Jorge’s recs were thorough and thoughtful. We loved Porto much more than other cities in PT, and will definitely come back here if we can. The fresh fruit was much appreciated 🥰

We were a group of 4 adults, a 9 month old baby, a 2 year old, 2 dogs, and the house was perfect for everybody! Great space inside and outside (dogs enjoyed a lot exploring around, very safe), big bedrooms - each one had its own bathroom (they provided a cot for our little one), and a very well equipped kitchen. Isaque and his mom were very responsive, caring and available, made our stay super comfortable, providing some nice little "gifts" and local treats for us to enjoy along the days. We had a lovely and peaceful time. The pool is amazing, it had nice views as well. Not much to do around the area (I'd recommend to take everything you need for the entire stay), just little walks or hiking (you need a car to reach the closest town or the mini market), so if you are looking to spend some days with family, just enjoying nature and away from the every-day-rush, this is your place.

The stay was great and we felt at home because nothing was missing. Communication has been quick and efficient and Jorge is very kind. The courtyard is beautiful and makes you feel like you're in the countryside. The house was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and there was hardly any noise. We rested wonderfully. To repeat.

There were six of us in the house for a week and we had a fantastic time! Unfortunately, it was rather cold outside and only rained almost throughout, so we used the great outdoor area with pool very little. But even in the rain you can relax there superbly: inside by the fireplace on the couch, with board games at the large dining table, at the billiards or darts. Outside, the covered area by the stone oven and barbecue area even in the rain offers a cozy place, we grilled there, baked pizza and did sports together. The view from the pool and the stone table upstairs is at least as beautiful as in the photos, fantastic! The beds are super comfortable, we slept great. Dogs bark next door, but we quickly got used to it. The location is already very far from the beach and shopping, but no problem with car. César was an excellent host, even welcomed us at night and was always available and super nice!

Ricardo has been responsive since the original booking months ago. The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable, apartment was quiet. He met us there to give the instructions in person and was quick to respond for any needs. This place is highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Home Essences. We found it even better than the pictures indicated. There was plenty of room for 8 adults and a toddler with everyone having their own private space and bathroom. The set up was perfect. We found it clean and well stocked and would not hesitate to return if given the chance. Joana was an excellent host - very helpful and responsive!

The apartment was really nice and spacious with a big balcony where we enjoyed the sun. The kitchen was also well equipped with the essentials. Also a big plus was a private parking spot in the garage. Paula and her team were very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

Very nice apartment for 2 people, with all amenities - towels, shampoo, soap, coffee machine, washing machine, iron. Very nice and helpful host, showed us on the map of Porto places worth visiting, answered all questions on an ongoing basis - very good contact. The apartment is located 500 m from the beach, in a very good communication point (metro, buses). I highly recommend it.

...EVERYTHING IS EXCELLENT... We chose this accommodation based on the comments: ALL the reviews are positive. The apartment is currently under renovation and we have been given the one downstairs, which is similar but with a large terrace. The apartment is however new, comfortable and very clean. From May 22 to 29, with my wife and son, we stayed in this apartment equipped with every comfort, all the appliances in the kitchen and bathroom are new. All the bed and bath linens were available and perfect. Comfortable and large double bed In addition, the house has perfect and fast Wi-Fi and two new air conditioners. The accommodation is located near Campanha, in a quiet area and the condominium is very quiet. David was kind and helpful by answering our questions immediately A stay to be repeated for sure... Highly recommended. Thank you for everything First time on Airbnb and everything was fantastic...I found David!!!

Great apartment and interior design with perfect location.

Great location right in the city center, within walking distance to everything around. Parking spot was very convenient and safe as it was in a private underground parking lot. The place was very clean, quiet and had everything that we could need! Would highly recommend.

Very nice accommodation, very clean and modern. In addition, it is very centrally located, you are in about 20 minutes in the city center of Porto and in a few minutes' walk you can reach cafés, restaurants, etc. Communication with Nuno went smoothly, Nuno is a great host! We will be happy to come back!
