Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Umbria

What a magic place. Nestled high in the mountain, Gerhard offers a private sanctuary where you literally feel on top of the world. We loved every moment - from the clear arrival instructions, much appreciated supplies for guests and use of the gardens and pool to the painting like view out each window, us and our 2 and 4 year old had a great time.

Die Ferienwohnung, ihre Terrasse, der schöne Garten, der fantastische Pool… Es hat uns sehr gut bei Gerhard gefallen. Vor allem die Badewanne draußen im Garten hat auch unser Baby begeistert. Er hat uns zur Begrüßung einige Lebensmittel überlassen. Vor allem das selbst produzierte Öl ist köstlich! Einzig bei der Anreise war ich etwas gestresst durch die Schotterstraße. Aber dafür landet man am Ende auch mitten in der Natur.

Notre séjour dans la maison était fantastique! La propreté et l'hygiène était au rendez-vous et les photos correspondaient tout à fait à la réalité. Les hôtes étaient extrêmement attentionnés et généreux envers nous sans parler de leur disponibilité en continu. Nous recommandons cette emplacement à quiconque cherchant un peu de tranquillité en famille ou en couple! Aucuns point négatifs n'est à relevé, notre séjour a largement dépassé nos attentes! Un grand merci!

Fantastic location with many beautiful sights in the surroundings. Very warm people who are always ready to give you a wonderful experience and a warm welcome. We love coming back here; Italy at its best.

La maison est vraiment très agréable et idéalement située pour des visites en Ombrie ou en Toscane. Le jardin, la piscine et la vue sont très appréciés. Nous etions 5 dans un appartement à l'étage, assez petit mais fonctionnel et très propre. L'accueil est familial et extrêmement sympathique, merci pour la soirée pasta du mercredi :)

The perfect accommodation for our family including 3 children aged 12, 4 and 4 months. The apartment was really well equipped with everything we needed and a BBQ downstairs which we could use. The pool was spotless and we had our own designated space to use and we were lucky to have an apartment with a view over the hills where we could sit and watch the sunset. Our hosts were so helpful, always responsive with tips on restaurants or local information. On our 2nd night, our hosts made a gorgeous meal for all guests to enjoy together which we loved and all the children were able to play together, it was a great night including fireworks and karaoke. There were several supermarket and restaurant options within a short drive.

We had a truly wonderful stay in Umbria! The location is absolutely perfect – completely secluded for peace and quiet, yet within an hour's drive from beautiful towns like Assisi, Spello, and Perugia. It’s an ideal spot for anyone looking to disconnect from the hustle and recharge in nature. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need, clean, and very comfortable. It's also a great base for cycling, whether you prefer mountain biking or gravel riding – plenty of scenic routes right from the doorstep. Gerhard was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and it meant a lot to us that he warmly received our two dogs as well. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of Umbria!

Il soggiorno da Karen e Marco è stato fantastico! Un'oasi di pace immersa nel verde. La casa e il giardino sono bellissimi, curati in ogni dettaglio. I proprietari ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa! La camera è accogliente, adatta ad una coppia con un bambino piccolo. Speriamo di tornare in estate per poter sfruttare la bellissima piscina!

We had an absolutely incredible stay! Giulio went above and beyond to make our stay special, including catering to dietary requirements etc. I would recommend this stay to anyone! It’s far better than even the photos. Would love to come back!
