We checked out the waterfalls at Bwindi and did a community walk with the pigmies. You will get value for your cost. Beautiful. Great place for a getaway from all city noise and hussles. We had an amazing weekend and definitely can't wait to visit again.

We loved our stay at Buyala Bliss! It is so lovely and peaceful. Gorgeous views of the Buyala Falls. Isaac and Claire were both very helpful and Claire is a fantastic cook! We wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely come back!

Naboth was a great host, made sure I was comfortable and provided quick responses to all my questions. Got me another place right by the lake as his was being renovated and made sure everything went perfect every single day. Highly recommended to other travellers

We had a great time at this place. The caretaker was helpful and considerate. The private garden provided a great playground and featured the occasional wild birds as well as fresh fruits. Definitely recommendable

I stayed at Kisubi Forest Cottages for 3 weeks and absolutely loved it! The staff is fantastic - incredibly friendly and engaged and very committed to making our stay wonderful. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and spacious. There is a kitchenette in each room and I had planned to do some of my own cooking, but honestly their chef is so excellent and the prices of meals so reasonable, that we just ate at the restaurant every morning and night and saved a lot of time. The grounds are beautiful - wonderful plants and flowers and a view of the Zika Forest (which is just a short walk away and through which they provide a guided tour). The area is quiet - with the loudest noises coming from the wonderful array of birds flying overhead. This is a fantastic place, with a wonderful staff, excellent food, and beautiful grounds - I highly recommend it and look forward to my next stay at Kisubi Forest Cottages! Thank you to the wonderful staff - Shiela, Milton, Robert, John, Jane, Eric, Ivan, Ammon, Andrew, Sandy (sorry for any name misspellings of names or anyone that I left off)!!

Adrian’s place is situated just out of town but within easy walking distance to shops and bars. Boss bodacious can be found just outside. He was very helpful and friendly without being intrusive and was on hand for anything. The cottages are clean and welcoming with everything you’d need for a pleasant stay. It felt safe and homely and was the perfect place for seeing Lira or visiting family, felling like you had a proper home and privacy to go to at the end of a day. I would definitely recommend Adrian’s place and would book again without hesitation. Thank you Adrian.

We had a great stay and Freddie was an excellent host. The location is easy to find and the cottage was clean, very comfortable and in lovely surroundings. Would definitely stay again!

Butterfly cottage is truly idyllic. Set within the forest with tremendous bird life all around. Easy access to knowledgeable local folks who can guide you on wonderful nature walks through the property. Less than 10 minutes from the starting point of Uganda's finest Chimp tracking location and there are a number of beautiful crater lakes nearby. Bigodi swamp and Town are also close and interesting excursions. The property owner is extremely pleasant and helpful Highly recommended for nature loves visiting this part of Uganda.
